Too Good to Not Believe!

Hi Peeps!

I just want to share this amazing song sung by Bethel Music and Brandon Lake called Too Good to Not Believe. I am so into this song right about now and just wanted to encourage you with this thought today… We as Christ believers must believe in the Wonder working miraculous-ness of God. It takes a lot of faith to simply accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord, but as we continue to walk in our Salvation through this journey of Faith, we must not let out faith dwindle but rather, we must purpose to cultivate it by continuously meditating God’s Word, and putting what we believe into PRACTICE. Faith without works is dead, but a Faith that is experiences by the works we choose to perform by Holy Spirit inspiration is what produces unfathomable results.

As Christians, I’ve been thinking about why Wonders and Signs aren’t following us like how they followed the Apostles when they were commissioned by Christ to spread the Word of God to the nations. We need to be of the same mind of the apostles and seek to function with the same level of expectant faith to see God work miracles for us and through us. If we want to see a great dispensation of the Holy Spirit functioning in the World, we need to increase our revelation and expectation for Miracles that God wants to perform through us by choosing to seek God’s will for our lives purposefully. When you seek Him, you will find Him. May we choose to Seek God diligently and find Him.

Here are some scriptures to help you mediate on this today:

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

James 2:19-25

19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is [a]dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made [b]perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was [c]accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

James 2:18
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

The Time is Now for Salvation!

Hi Everybody,

I just felt led to share this amazing video message from Joe Kirby from Off the Kirb Ministries. He is such a great evangelist and I just feel like this word that he shared was so relevant and compelling that it needed to be shared right now with anyone subscribed to my Blog. I pray that this Post blesses someone today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Resurrection: “I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life” – Jesus

Hi Everybody!

I just wanted to post this amazing song sung by Travis Greene and Todd Dulaney called Easter. I loved the beat of this song because it has a bit of an African Beat and Vibe to it. This Easter, we do remember that our Saviour did suffer, died on the Cross as a propitiation for our Sins, and three days later Resurrected from the dead in fulfillment of Scriptures. This same Jesus is alive and that is why this is cause for celebration in that we can all be redeemed by accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Son of God, He is the Christ, He is King. None of us can come to the Father (God) except through the Son, Jesus Christ. That is why it is important that every non-believer accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour over their lives. Jesus is the Door to Salvation. So as you listen to this Song, just remember that Salvation comes when you believe that Jesus is in fact The Way, The Truth and the Life in your life. I pray that this song blesses you today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

John 14:1-6 New King James Version

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions; if it were not so, [b]I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Hebrews 12:2 (New International Version) fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

John 10:7-10 New King James Version

Jesus the Good Shepherd

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came [a]before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Elevators – I wanna be close to you!

Hi Peeps!

I just want to post this song by Calvin Hill Feat. Tyshan Knight, Eli Ahmad & Devon Murrill called Elevators. This song is my jam right about now. I think that the focus for this year for all of us is to draw closer to God with all that we have. A day without God, makes one weak. We need to invest our energies feeding our spirits with the Word of God (The Bible). Some people aren’t able to go to Church because of the current situation, but if you have a Bible in your home, then don’t simply wait for a Sunday online service to feed your Spirit with the Truth that is contained in His Word. Don’t feed your spirit with bad news that’s constantly being bombarded by mainstream media; in particular, the NEWS. You need to learn as Christians how to Guard your Hearts and minds during this period of time. You can’t afford to lose hope when we have hope in Jesus. I do believe that the current state of affairs the world is facing with the Coronavirus pandemic will end at some point this year. We just need to pray more to the Lord to intercede and intervene on our behalf over this situation. We should rest our hope in the Lord. So today, as you listen to this song, focus on the purposing on getting closer to the Lord this year. I believe that this is indeed pertinent for every Believer to be focusing on doing this year. I pray that this song blesses your spirit. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Philippians 4:6-8Meditate on These Things

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Quick Links to SWTB’s Posts

Hello All!

I’ve decided to make my blog easier to navigate by creating a page with links to popular posts based on 3 categories. Therefore, I will eliminate the long menus I have on order to make it easier for others to navigate my site. Keep in mind that I started this blog in 2011 just for fun and WordPress has been going through so many changes that some videos and pictures may have broken links as WordPress kept evolving. I admit, I was kind of lazy to do this because I had too much content created over the years that I never thought about making it easier for others to find stuff until a reader suggested I do this recently. Hopefully, this has made things a little easier.

Because there is just so much content that I have written up over the years, I am only linking up and capturing the popular posts for everyone’s convenience. Hope you like this list Y’all! Thank God I’m done with it at last. I should have done this a long long time ago. Stay Blessed Peeps!

Secret Place – Where we need to be in 2021

Happy New Year Everybody!

Today, I want to post a song sung by Isly called Secret Place because this song is in my spirit right about now. As I meditate, I believe that this year will be a year where we all need to seek God stronger than ever before. We need to reverence God more and seriously seek Him on a serious level this year. I believe that during this period of Lock-downs and Quarantine, people can be ignited at full blast with the gifts of the Spirit if they seek Him diligently right now. Frankly, we should be seeking the Lord’s face all our lives if we are Christians, so why wait when you can start pursuing to grow deeper in the knowledge of the Lord right now? The world is changing and the thing is this though… there is nothing new under the sun as far as the Lord is concerned, but through His Son Jesus, He can make things new.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.

Revelation 21:4-6 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [a]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It[b] is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

I believe that unprecedent miracles will take place this year if we believe for it. The Lord is looking for willing Sons and Daughters who will work His Word boldly in 2021. Are you willing to be Bold for Christ this Year? 2020 showed us how easy it was to be conditioned to set our hearts and minds at a frequency that tuned into bad news only. But as Christians, we need to renew our mindset at this hour and set our hearts to align at God’s frequency which is FAITH. Do not be overly consumed by FEAR, because fear is a language…and as Christians, we need to tune into the Holy Spirit’s frequency of FAITH. How do we tune into that frequency? The fact is… it’s already in His Word… the answer is this:

Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fearbut of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Psalm 119:148 – My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalm 1:2 – But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditateday and night.

James 1:22 – But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Purpose to Meditate on God’s Word – THE BIBLE this Year

You need to meditate on God’s Word daily and actively Seek Him to Observe and act on God’s Word by FAITH. It’s not enough to be Hearers of the Word if we as Christians have no intention of being Doers of His Word. God is going to reward those that DO. So this Year, focus on being a DOER of His Word rather than succumbing to the noise of the World’s fears that distract you from operating by FAITH. I pray that as you listen to this song, may it fuel your spirit with Hope, Love and FAITH for this year. God Bless You Everybody!

Be The Light!

Hi Peeps!

So today, I just got off a virtual video call with my work colleagues and we were all talking about how we’ve been coping in this whole new work environment/structure with all of us working remotely. All I could think about is how blessed we were to live in an age where we have technology available to us that allows us to socially connect even in this season of “Social Distancing” because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

We can still encourage each other even if we have to do things remotely. I often wonder about those that don’t have technology, how do they handle social distancing? It’s kind of ironic in a way in that technology has a way of blocking face-to-face interaction as everyone can simply text or face-time someone, and yet in this season these methods are what we need to remain connected with one another.

If you have the technology to communicate with someone in these season of social distancing, then I encourage you to reach out to people that need you in this season who can’t handle this form of isolation. It can be daunting for those that thrive in gatherings and community so lets be the hands and feet of Jesus doing Good wherever we are in the world and reach out to those that need a touch of encouragement this season.

John 8:12– [ Dispute Over Jesus’ Testimony ] When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 9:5– While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

I have this song by Wande feat. Evan and Eris called Be The Light. I pray that this song encourages you today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

The Breaker is Our Maker

Hello Peeps!

I just had to post this song by Travis Greene called The Breaker. This song is ringing strongly in my spirit as I think of how sovereign our God is. Sometimes as children we can be petulant and self-entitled for things and simply assume that we deserve everything when God already gave us His best, which was His only Begotten Son Jesus, who came down from Heaven and became a man that dwelt among us, taught us about the love of God, was bruised and shamed for our transgressions, was nailed on a cross for our sake and still loved us as He died on that cross.

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Micah 2:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)

13 “The [a]breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them].
They will break out, pass through the gate and go out;
So their King goes on before them,
The Lord at their head.”

What a miracle it was that Jesus, Our Savior, resurrected for us to show us that death has no victory over our lives. But think of this…the victory Jesus gave us, wasn’t just about death itself, it was His victory over all SIN. Jesus defeated the power of SIN in our lives that causes us to die spiritually and leave us separated from the Love of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

When I listen to this song, I think of the greatness of God, and how He takes our mistakes, or failures, our shortcomings and tells us that even in or Brokenness, He has the power to use it and make us brand new by redeeming us from the brokenness that shame brings us. God can break the shame and restore us to be in right standing again in Him. So this message is for everyone… because all have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God, but we can take heart, because He has overcome the World of sin for us all.

Romans 3:23 [Full Chapter]
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

We can stand tall and Know that Jesus Christ is God and that He loves us with an everlasting love. We need to embrace the Redeemer, because it is by His Stripes that we are healed and made whole again.

Jeremiah 31:3 [Full Chapter]
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

Isaiah 54:5 – For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

Job 19:25 – For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;

Psalm 19:14 – Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

So when you listen to this song, just remember that no one is perfect but through Christ, we become perfected in Jesus Name, Amen! I pray that this song ministers to your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

We Won’t Stop Until We See You!

Hello Peeps!

I just had to post this song by William McDowell called The Cry. This song is so off the hook that I’m amazed that this man keeps bringing it all the time with new songs. Just when you thought the last songs his put together were amazing, His worship just keeps going to a new level. This song will shake you to the core and energize you if you feel like your struggling in your Faith. Let’s just remember that Faith isn’t a “feeling”, it’s a choice you make to trust and believe beyond what you know, what you see, and what you hear.

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

It’s very easy to be distracted by rumors, by the whisperings of gossipers etc….but you have to learn to silence the riff raff and still your heart and know that God remains God no matter what people say. Your life’s mission should be to move and operate by FAITH. Remember what Faith is by meditating on this verse:

Hebrews 11:1 [Full Chapter]
By Faith We Understand ] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

There will be people assigned to you wanting to see you either fail or succeed in your life and it is so important that in every season when God wants to elevate you, you maintain your focus on Him who brought you to where you are. As far as I’m concerned, I am of the opinion that if God brought me to a place, only He can take me out of it. Do not put your faith in people that try to stir up the pot in your life to fill you with doubts and questions regarding your destiny if they can’t see the road God put you on.

Proverbs 3:5-6 [Full Chapter]
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Remember that when God gives you “talents”, it is for the purpose of expanding His Kingdom with the use of your gifts. If God entrusts you to be a steward in your workplace, then make sure you are using your talents to do good in all that you do. Do not have the “form of Godliness” in your conduct and then “deny it’s power”.

2 Timothy 3: 1-5 (NKJV) Perilous Times and Perilous Men But know this, that in the last days [a]perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, [b]unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Humility is the character we should embrace as part of our Christ-like attitude and identity. It is important to have self-control so that when people try to stir-up the pot in your life to shake your foundation of faith, you can stand strong and firm and not be moved by gossips, and the back-biting and jeering of those that secretly want to see you fail. God will put them in line and will show you the rewards of remaining in “right-standing” before Him. Don’t do as the World does and choose to operate like you are set-apart for His purpose and will on Earth as it is in Heaven.

I believe that in this season, God wants to elevate some people who are willing to mature in this area and will position those to be promoted when the understand that their destiny doesn’t rely on the opinions of others but rather on the PURPOSE of His will for our life, which is to prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers. When you are blessed, you can become blessed to be a blessing to others who need a dose of God’s touch in their lives that will bring about transformation and elevation as people renew the spirit of their minds to become more and more Christ-like in all they endeavour to do in this life. So people, make it a mission to do good in everything that you do, Amen! I pray that this song uplifts you today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Always Only Jesus!

Hi Peeps!

Yay, for the Long weekend! Well, it’s Labour Day here in Canada which means a short work week for me! YAY! Honestly, summer went by so quickly that it’s almost a blur what happened this summer for me. It’s in this transition of seasons that we must realize that we must adjust our attitudes and behaviours to embrace and adapt to the new things that are coming our way in the new season that God is pushing us to. You may have enjoyed this past summer season but this season is coming to an end and Fall is around the corner for those who live in the Northern Hemisphere.

I believe that no matter where you are in the world, you always have to remain vigilant about the new seasons that God brings you to. If you don’t adjust your attitude to the new seasons that God brings you to, then you will always fail to recognize the “right” opportunities and people you are supposed to connect to and also disconnect from in the new season.

Some people that walked with you in the last season, were only for that Season only and cannot be brought into the new thing that God is pushing you towards. It is at this time that building on spiritual discernment and discerning the times is important so that you remain aware that walking in the Will of God won’t always attract friends that will support it.

Sometimes, the friends of your last season will become the enemies of your new season and that is when you have to learn to cut off a meaningful relationship at the right time when you see a change in behaviour that does not align with God’s purpose for your life. Friendly friends can be triggered by the blessings coming your way and can easily turn into Unfriendly friends in your next season. It is up to you to recognize when that friendship is over. Think of Saul and David. Saul didn’t initially hate David, because Saul enjoyed the way David played the harp even when he was going crazy at times. The playing of the harp would ease Saul’s soul for a time but there came a point where he despised David if you continue to read the following chapters of 1 Samuel 16-18.

A friend of yesterday can easily become an enemy tomorrow given the right conditions and circumstances that arise in your life. Especially, when God wants to promote you and elevate you to a new level for the purpose of His Kingdom. The thing is, it’s sometimes hard to let go of meaningful relationships when we treasure those relationships and want to keep them. But sometimes, the will of God will trump that relationship over your life if God’s purpose is to elevate you, and protect you from being derailed from fulfilling your God-given destiny for your life by helping you to cut those relationships “On time” so that you don’t bring them into a season where God wants to elevate you, especially, when certain friendships are posing as a hindrance to His purpose for your life. You will have to learn to fear God more so than your friends and family at times just in order to stay in right-standing with God. This by no means is an easy task, but that is the reason fearing the Lord is so important, because fools despise wisdom whereas a wise man will fear the Lord and will simply do what He says even if it doesn’t make sense to you at the time and isn’t always the easiest choice to make either.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 9:10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

So when you think about pursuing to fulfill your God-given purpose in life, just remember, that God will shake certain things in your life on purpose in order to prune the dead-end relationships that won’t add to your life nor help you in fulfilling your God-driven destiny. Learn to appreciate the changes that come in every season, and remember that God does things always for your good, even if you don’t understand it at the time. His will, will always be to prosper you and not to harm you, and to give you hope and a bright future, so let God shake what needs to be shaken out of your life in order for His will to come to pass in your life, Amen! 🙂

Jeremiah 29:11(NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

To finish off this post, I have this amazing song by ISLY called Always Only Jesus. I pray that this song blesses your Spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂
