Hello People!
I wanted to post this video of this guy evangelizing in the streets of Britain. When you watch this video, you’ll see that he is bold and amazing in that he is not ashamed of preaching the Gospel of Truth despite police trying to shut him down for being a “public disturbance”. It reminded me of the time when I did this with some friends in the streets of Toronto.

I can tell you right now that street evangelism is not my thing. *say it ain’t so Sherline!*, Unfortunately, this is the case. Street evangelism was definitely outside my comfort zone and I think having some friends come along with me to do it helped me out in a BIG way. Personally, I much prefer to preach or teach on a pulpit rather than speaking to strangers on the street. I think that the discomfort of street evangelism also comes from the fact that the people I would talk to, tended to be men in particular, who would gravitate towards me and try to listen to me only to seek for my phone number at the end because they had ulterior motives in seeking a date with me rather than listening to me preach about the Gospel of Truth.
Can you blame a sistah when she says she doesn’t like street evangelism? I think that it’s a grace that some people have the passion for and I simply don’t have that grace for it *just being honest about that one*. Give me a pulpit and I can preach and teach, but don’t get me to stand out there on the street and hand out tracts…that’s just not my thing and not my grace. I think that each person has a level of grace that is able to be effective in whatever they are gifted to do, so use what you know how to do and simply do that well is my advice.
Ugh…street evangelism… makes me cringe every time I think about it, because it isn’t my thing and I applaud those that have the passion for it. What I can say is that, each person has a level of grace to do what they can to spread the Gospel of Truth so I stuck to my lane. I’m good at teaching/preaching/speaking on a pulpit and/or in a cell group and I also blog about my faith, reaching the masses around the world by maximizing on what I’m good at. So my message to you today, is to do what you know how to do and do it well in order to spread the message of God in other people’s lives. No need to reinvent the wheel when you can simply ride with it.

I applaud those that have the passion for Street Evangelism.
You have a certain level of grace that is able to do it in the best way you know how. Some people may not be able to speak well, but know how to draw pictures, or create various types of paraphernalia, music, books, clothing, videos and/or animations… Some others use their marketplace abilities to reach people so my emphasis to you is to use the gift(s) that God gave you in order to do the same thing and be effective. We all have a unique way of reaching people so do what you know how to do and do it well. I pray that this video blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
Street evangelism? Hmmm.
It takes the grace of God to do that.
I did it but it was in those early years of my calling.
I appreciate your sincerity in your message.
Best of the weekend.
