Salvation Prayer

If you’ve come to this blog and have read some of my posts and have now figured that you want to give your life up to Christ Jesus, all you have to do is say the Salvation prayer and you are saved and you have now become a Christian. It is important to understand the fundamental principles of Salvation in order to accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

We are all sinners who have fallen short of the glory of God, but despite all that, God is saying you can still be saved by the power of His Son Jesus’ blood that washes away all our sins and transgressions. It doesn’t matter what sin you have committed in this life. It can be anything from a petty to a seriously heinous sin. All sins can and are forgiven by Christ our Saviour. All we have to do is confess and that is how we are set free from the bondage of guilt and shame from our sins.

It is important to understand the fundamental principles of Salvation in order to accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour. As stated in the box posted above, it states that you must first ADMIT you are a sinner, then secondly, you must BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross and three days later rose up from the dead in fulfillment of the scriptures and lastly, you must CONFESS with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord over your entire life and that you commit your life, your soul and your spirit to follow Him and serve others in the way Christ did in the Bible for the rest of your life. If you perform these 3 acts of Salvation, you are now saved in Jesus name and you have become a new creation. Behold, old things have passed away and Jesus is the one that makes all things new.

If you know that you haven’t led a righteous life and have made a lot of mistakes along the way and need God to help you walk in the right direction, now is the time to surrender all your will to Christ. You can start afresh by saying this prayer of Salvation.

If you have said the Salvation prayer posted above then Congratulations, your are Born again! You are now a Christian! PRAISE GOD!!!!  Now that you are born again, the next step is for you to join a Bible-believing church and join a cell group from that church. Because you are now a babe in Christ you need to become rooted in the Word (the Bible) since you are just a sapling. You need to feed your spirit with mature Christians that can guide you in the right direction so seek a strong Bible-believing church and go to bible study groups in order to nurture your knowledge and grow in the Word of God. Eventually, you will need to get Water Baptized to affirm your Faith in Jesus Publicly and then you will become stronger in your faith and you will become victorious in all that you do in this life.
