The Flame and the Fire

Hello Peeps!

I’m sure many people are counting down the days until Christmas. Some may argue that it’s a pagan holiday etc etc based on its roots, and many people may not even like this time of year, period. Regardless of where people stand, I do think that as Christians, remembering the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is worth celebrating.

Matthew 2:10
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”Luke 1:30-33NKJV

Luke 2:8
Glory in the Highest ] Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night.

I don’t want to get into the accuracy of when His actual birthday was etc etc, because the whole point is, our Savior – JESUS CHRIST, did come down as a man and for all humanity, He experienced the weight of sin upon His shoulders as He was taken away to be beaten, humiliated, shunned, in front of many that despised Him for our transgressions, and was nailed up on a cross to be crucified for all the wrongdoings (sins) we have done, so that through the shedding of His innocent blood, we could all be redeemed and become sons and daughters of the Most High God.

Isaiah 53:5 – But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

I don’t regret my salvation and therefore, want people to reflect how far they’ve come from where they were before Christ. I pray as you listen to this song, It’ll bless you today in Jesus’ Name, Amen! God Bless you everybody! 🙂

  1. My dear Sister in Christ. Because you are a prayer warrior and love our King in spirit and in truth I feel the need to ask you how the Lord God felt about his children making a golden calf and saying this is our God and they even got the priest (Aaron) to pray over it and danced around it with flowers, silver and gold ornaments in Exodus while Moses was recieving the commandments on Mt Sinai. We have been decieved by this lie which we told our children that Jesus was born on the 25th of dec. And the lie that there is a santa claus. God would not be ok with lies and He Son is so much higher than these pagan gods whom most of these holidays are really about. These are mans traditions and we were warned about them. I was just as decieved as everyone else but the Lord has opened my eyes and I won’t worship our KING OF GLORY ON THE DEVILS LEVEL. I pray Abba will open your heart to understand what I am talking about concerning putting Jesus in the same box with this st. Nic. I love you dearly and ask the LORD GIVE YOU PEACE in the full knowledge of the TRUTH, WHICH IS CHRIST.

  2. Yes Brenda, Jesus wasn’t born on Dec 25th, and Santa Claus doesn’t exist. Despite the knowledge of this, I think that it is ok to celebrate the birth of our King even if we do not know when exactly he was born. I think that the essence if Christmas should be about our King and that this season should exalt Him. Thanks for your input and I pray that you have a blessed day. 😊 – Sherline
