Hello Peeps!
I wanted to post this inspiring video that has a speech spoken by Dr. Charles Swindoll. The full sermon can be seen by clicking here, however, for today, I’m just posting a shortened version of his sermon. It is pretty inspirational and I’m sure it’ll bless you today. The two most difficult words that people have a difficult time obeying are “Trust GOD”. You know, just thinking about it makes me agree with that statement.
Sometimes we try to work things out according to our own might, power and intellect, but sometimes, these things can be done in vain. When we’ve exhausted all our man-powered resources to fix a problem, they’ll come a point where we realize that our own might and power is just not sufficient to solve the most complex of problems that only the Almighty God can.
The question is, will we lean on Him when the time comes for it? We need to learn to surrender to God when it gets difficult in our lives and we need to learn how to pray and seek God’s face when we can’t work things out with our own might and power. Only God can point us in the right direction at the end of the day when we’ve exhausted all of our human intellect to solve problems that really require a personal touch of the supernatural. However, not many believe in miracles and therefore won’t seek any if they are heavily reliant on what is tangible. Many things can fail us in this life, but God’s love never fails.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
When you listen to this shortened version of this sermon, think about what it is that holds you back from surrendering to Christ Jesus. It is through Him that we are able to overcome the things of this World, so as Christians, continue to seek the Lord’s Help in everything that you go through. Do not rely on your human understanding and call on the name of the Lord. I pray that this video blesses you today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
This is awesome! Thank you!! 💜💜
