Remember What It’s About

Hi Peeps!

I know, I know… it’s been a minute since I last posted anything. Today I want to post this song by Uncle Reece called I Can’t Escape. I love this song right about now. As we are now in the month of December, and people are getting ready for Christmas festivities, let us not forget what Christmas is really about. People can call it “Happy Holidays” all they want, but it really just goes back to the fact that it’s about our Saviour, Jesus Christ being born.

Of course Dec 25th isn’t His actual birthday, but having a day to Celebrate the fact that God came down as a man to move us, reach us, and teach us about our Father’s eternal love for us in a tangible way is what makes this day worth celebrating about. We were all once dead in our Sins, faults, and failures, but God sent down His Only Begotten Son Jesus to come down from His throne as the King of kings and became a man that would teach us about the Father’s eternal love for us and redeem us from the curse of the law and the curse of sin through the redemptive power of Jesus’ blood that was shed for us on the cross to pay for the penalty of sin, which would have been eternal damnation.

Galatians 3:13 – Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

John 3:16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life

But now that we are redeemed from the curse of the Law , we now enjoy having a renewed and restored relationship with God the Father when we simply decide to accept that Jesus Christ is Lord over our lives and believe that He died for us on the Cross and three days later, resurrected for us in fulfillment of the scriptures.

1 John 4:9 – In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Christmas is a celebration that Jesus came to do what no other man could do, and that is restore our relationship back to God the Father through His Sacrifice. A sinless man…dying for us to in order to win over the power of death and giving us new life through the power of His blood. Death no longer has a victory over us, it has lost it’s sting. We must give God praise for that. So as you listen to this song, remember where you could have been without God and look at where you are now, now that you know God is real and that He loves you with an everlasting love. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂
