Hey Peeps!
I am just rockin’ to this song sung by Danny Gokey called Haven’t Seen It Yet. Sometimes when you are waiting for something amazing to happen to your life, you can become distracted by where other people are in life in comparison to yourself. This is where you have to refocus your mind to NOT focus on things that other people have, and focus on the ONE that is able to give you what you desire and really need on time.
It is important to remember that GOD is always in the habit of not withholding any Good thing from you. His desire is always for His people to prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers as it says in:
3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].
It is so important to not lose focus on God when we start to prosper. When things start to go well in your life, it is always for the same purpose which is to draw people to God’s love and message of TRUTH. Yes, you will get some people that won’t be receptive initially with the Message of God’s Hope for their lives, but that is when you go beyond mere words and start to demonstrate God’s love for people with your ACTIONS. It is true when people say, that ACTIONS speak LOUDER than WORDS, so for this year, rather than simply preaching a message, try to demonstrate God’s love for people through your actions, and pray for them and watch how the Holy Spirit will draw their inner being that thirsts to receive the TRUE Love of God in their lives.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall [a]direct your paths.
I remember the day I chose Jesus as my Saviour, how my eyes and ears opened up dramatically to what God’s love really meant in my life. In the same way, I’ve come to realize that when it comes to seeking the Salvation of others to receive the message of God for their lives, the best way is to pray that the Lord shows you what method and way is best to reach a person. It’s better to reach people in a way that is meaningful to them rather than using traditional methods to evangelize. God has given us the ability to be creative in our approach, so go beyond the typical and strive to seek God to show you NEW ways of doing the same thing but it having a farther reach and huge impact.
I believe that we HAVE NOT if we ASK NOT, and the HOLY SPIRIT in me keeps telling me to tell His people to KEEP ASKING and to pray without ceasing until what you’ve asked for comes to pass. However, when we pray asking God to give us something, we should not ask amiss for selfish reasons. We must only ask Got to help us with something with PURE MOTIVATIONS! I can’t emphasize that part enough, because some people get disappointed if what they asked for isn’t what they receive. Assess your heart when seek God to do something for you. Are you asking with pure motivations, or impure motivations. Check yourself before you wreck yourself!
James 4:2-4 (NKJV)
2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and [a]war. [b]Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 [c]Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
So remember DO NOT LOSE HOPE and Keep BELIEVING. You are closer than you think you are to your breakthrough in your prayer life. I pray that as you listen to this song, it will encourage you to keep pressing through for your blessings and promises that God has for you and your life. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂
