Spirit Lead Me

Don’t Quench the Fire of the Holy Spirit with your Doubts. Trust God Always.

I just had to post this song by Influence Music & Micheal Ketterer called Spirit Lead Me. Man, does this song sound amazing on surround sound. I think that when you’ve done all you can “humanly possible” to fix problems by your own might and power, there comes a point when you as a Christian will realize that you really need to learn to bend to the will of God for your life and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you when you feel lost and don’t know where to go. The Holy Spirit has a way of guiding us in the right direction when we build that sensitivity to hear from Him. You can only build that sensitivity to hear from Him by:

1.) Meditating on God’s Word,

2.) Putting what you learn from the Bible into practice, and

3.) Simply learning to walk by Faith and not by sight.

Appearances can be deceiving, however, when you can distinguish the difference between what is right and wrong, what is Godly and what isn’t, you will sharpen your discernment and you will also sharpen your hearing to be able to distinguish when someone is lying to you to lead you astray through enticing words or flattery or when someone is telling you the truth without deceit. Cultivating discernment is learned through learning from your experiences and mistakes and understanding what you should do to remain on the right path. You can only know what to do when you are clear about what is “right” and “wrong” by God’s standard. God’s standard is through His Word which is found in The Bible. That is why we must learn to meditate on the Word day and night so that it doesn’t depart from our mouths, from our hearts and from our minds, Amen. I pray that as you listen to this song, may it minister to your heart today and may it cause you to think about what it means to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT, Amen! God Bless You Everybody! 🙂
