Being the Answer that you Seek

So recently I had a conversation with a choir friend about what it means when we are seeking God for an answer. I was praying for different things and during my meditations I was revealed that sometimes when we ask God “What’s the Answer?” we not only have to prepare for the answer but we must consider that He might tell us that “You are the Answer”.

If we want Change in our lives we have to purpose to BE the Change. Your circumstances don’t determine who you are and you can also change how you view your circumstances. If you see God removing key players that are stumbling blocks to progress in your life, you have to be prepared that as He removes wicked counselors out of your way, He is also paving a road for you to step up to that role that requires change through DIVINE INTERVENTION. My question to you today is, Are you prepared to BE the ANSWER?

Like Moses who had many excuses under the Sun to disqualify himself from being the Answer to God’s call for him to go before Pharaoh to set the Captives free from Evil Slavery, God may require you to be the answer that you seek. When I pondered on this, I started to freak out to be quite honest with you, because I understand Moses’ feelings about what God required of him. Despite that, I believe that Moses was groomed to be a leader since birth. He understood Egyptian politics because he was brought up and groomed as a young prince in the palace of the Egyptian Pharoah as a young man, so birth doesn’t determine destiny, it prepares you for it but it is OBEDIENCE that allows for your destiny to be fulfilled.

How obedient are you willing to be when You answer to the CALL in your life????

As terrifying as this question was laid before me, it all boils down to increasing your level of faith to satisfy the Call and respond to the Call on your life.

Remember that MANY are Called but Few are Chosen because what is required to fulfill destiny is:

FAITH, OBEDIENCE, HUMILITY, COURAGEHOPE, LOVE and TOTAL TRUST in the LORD.

Think about these things and remember that you can try to disqualify yourself from the call in your life, but GOD doesn’t Call the QUALIFIED, HE Qualifies the CALLED. Walk in Obedience and answer to the Call in Your Life.

Yes, it goes without saying that you will face adversities as you pursue your calling but that’s what Faith is all about. You can’t walk by sight when you are required to walk by Faith. God always goes ahead of you…you walk through your red seas as He makes your enemies around you your footstool.

Look at Pharoah, He died a poor mans death as He tried to pursue the Children of Israel after they had reached the other side of the Red Sea. Egyptian Pharaohs were historically known to be buried with their treasures and servants in a pyramid tomb for their so-called life in the “After life”, but God dealt with Pharoah with a final blow in that in his pursuit to kill and bring back the Children of Israel back into slavery, God swallowed him up with his entire Army by closing up the Red Sea. Pharoah was left bankrupt in fortune since the Children of Israel were given the wealth of Silver and Gold during their exodus out of Egypt by their slave drivers as they were set free from Captivity. The end of Pharoah’s PRIDE and Hardened heart resulted in his dying a pitiful poor mans death with the Red Sea as His grave. Pharoah perished in his PRIDE as God gave Grace to Moses’ Humility.

Humility assures Victory and Pride will always FALL.  Humility is Key when fulfilling the call in your life. Always remember that!

  1. Matthew 20:16 is one of my mantras,Sherline. This is how I answer people who question my hardwork and long hours at my writing work these days. I especially enjoyed the way you started your post by asking,”What if God is expecting you to BE the answer?” We are Thine, O Lord, and with Thine Own have you bought us.”
