Resurrection: “I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life” – Jesus

Hi Everybody!

I just wanted to post this amazing song sung by Travis Greene and Todd Dulaney called Easter. I loved the beat of this song because it has a bit of an African Beat and Vibe to it. This Easter, we do remember that our Saviour did suffer, died on the Cross as a propitiation for our Sins, and three days later Resurrected from the dead in fulfillment of Scriptures. This same Jesus is alive and that is why this is cause for celebration in that we can all be redeemed by accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Son of God, He is the Christ, He is King. None of us can come to the Father (God) except through the Son, Jesus Christ. That is why it is important that every non-believer accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour over their lives. Jesus is the Door to Salvation. So as you listen to this Song, just remember that Salvation comes when you believe that Jesus is in fact The Way, The Truth and the Life in your life. I pray that this song blesses you today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

John 14:1-6 New King James Version

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions; if it were not so, [b]I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Hebrews 12:2 (New International Version) fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

John 10:7-10 New King James Version

Jesus the Good Shepherd

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came [a]before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Elevators – I wanna be close to you!

Hi Peeps!

I just want to post this song by Calvin Hill Feat. Tyshan Knight, Eli Ahmad & Devon Murrill called Elevators. This song is my jam right about now. I think that the focus for this year for all of us is to draw closer to God with all that we have. A day without God, makes one weak. We need to invest our energies feeding our spirits with the Word of God (The Bible). Some people aren’t able to go to Church because of the current situation, but if you have a Bible in your home, then don’t simply wait for a Sunday online service to feed your Spirit with the Truth that is contained in His Word. Don’t feed your spirit with bad news that’s constantly being bombarded by mainstream media; in particular, the NEWS. You need to learn as Christians how to Guard your Hearts and minds during this period of time. You can’t afford to lose hope when we have hope in Jesus. I do believe that the current state of affairs the world is facing with the Coronavirus pandemic will end at some point this year. We just need to pray more to the Lord to intercede and intervene on our behalf over this situation. We should rest our hope in the Lord. So today, as you listen to this song, focus on the purposing on getting closer to the Lord this year. I believe that this is indeed pertinent for every Believer to be focusing on doing this year. I pray that this song blesses your spirit. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Philippians 4:6-8Meditate on These Things

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Secret Place – Where we need to be in 2021

Happy New Year Everybody!

Today, I want to post a song sung by Isly called Secret Place because this song is in my spirit right about now. As I meditate, I believe that this year will be a year where we all need to seek God stronger than ever before. We need to reverence God more and seriously seek Him on a serious level this year. I believe that during this period of Lock-downs and Quarantine, people can be ignited at full blast with the gifts of the Spirit if they seek Him diligently right now. Frankly, we should be seeking the Lord’s face all our lives if we are Christians, so why wait when you can start pursuing to grow deeper in the knowledge of the Lord right now? The world is changing and the thing is this though… there is nothing new under the sun as far as the Lord is concerned, but through His Son Jesus, He can make things new.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.

Revelation 21:4-6 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [a]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It[b] is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

I believe that unprecedent miracles will take place this year if we believe for it. The Lord is looking for willing Sons and Daughters who will work His Word boldly in 2021. Are you willing to be Bold for Christ this Year? 2020 showed us how easy it was to be conditioned to set our hearts and minds at a frequency that tuned into bad news only. But as Christians, we need to renew our mindset at this hour and set our hearts to align at God’s frequency which is FAITH. Do not be overly consumed by FEAR, because fear is a language…and as Christians, we need to tune into the Holy Spirit’s frequency of FAITH. How do we tune into that frequency? The fact is… it’s already in His Word… the answer is this:

Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fearbut of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Psalm 119:148 – My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalm 1:2 – But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditateday and night.

James 1:22 – But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Purpose to Meditate on God’s Word – THE BIBLE this Year

You need to meditate on God’s Word daily and actively Seek Him to Observe and act on God’s Word by FAITH. It’s not enough to be Hearers of the Word if we as Christians have no intention of being Doers of His Word. God is going to reward those that DO. So this Year, focus on being a DOER of His Word rather than succumbing to the noise of the World’s fears that distract you from operating by FAITH. I pray that as you listen to this song, may it fuel your spirit with Hope, Love and FAITH for this year. God Bless You Everybody!

Be The Light!

Hi Peeps!

So today, I just got off a virtual video call with my work colleagues and we were all talking about how we’ve been coping in this whole new work environment/structure with all of us working remotely. All I could think about is how blessed we were to live in an age where we have technology available to us that allows us to socially connect even in this season of “Social Distancing” because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

We can still encourage each other even if we have to do things remotely. I often wonder about those that don’t have technology, how do they handle social distancing? It’s kind of ironic in a way in that technology has a way of blocking face-to-face interaction as everyone can simply text or face-time someone, and yet in this season these methods are what we need to remain connected with one another.

If you have the technology to communicate with someone in these season of social distancing, then I encourage you to reach out to people that need you in this season who can’t handle this form of isolation. It can be daunting for those that thrive in gatherings and community so lets be the hands and feet of Jesus doing Good wherever we are in the world and reach out to those that need a touch of encouragement this season.

John 8:12– [ Dispute Over Jesus’ Testimony ] When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 9:5– While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

I have this song by Wande feat. Evan and Eris called Be The Light. I pray that this song encourages you today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Freedom – All Things New

Hello Peeps!

Today, I’d like to post a song by Travis Greene called All Things New. Yesterday, I had a bit of drama with my car not being able to start. I took the car with the help of my dad to the mechanic and found out that the starter was the issue. The Mechanic was able to deal with the starter plug issue and my car was able to start again. I needed to have this fixed ASAP because it’s dangerous to drive on a highway and then all of a sudden have the car stop at 100km/hr that could lead to an accident. It was a bit of money to deal with but it was worth it. The car was fixed and it was as good as new.

So why am I telling you this story? I feel like without God and a relationship with Jesus, we can be like my car and drive like we don’t need a tune-up or fixing and just travel through life assuming that nothing can ever go wrong in our lives if we do things “our way”. There were warning signs initially when I was driving this car that there was something wrong with it but I don’t know much about cars to know what the issue is so I had to go to someone who could pinpoint what that was in order to get it fixed.

We too are like that… In some way, the issues in our heart are areas we can identify, such as hurt, pain, anger, anxiety etc etc. Sometimes we bottle up these emotions until we need a real tune-up from the Lord to show us that we need to stop and analyze our problems and issues. We can’t be like my car and guess what’s wrong with it when we can go to the Lord that is able to show us what needs fixing. He is the Master mechanic of our lives if you really think about it. In many cases, it’s our hearts that need fixing. We can try and do life running on “empty” or we can go to the Way Maker who is able to show us how we can feel fulfilled and function in the best way possible in our lives since the Joy of the Lord is our True Strength.

Nehemiah 8:10 [Full Chapter]
Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Psalm 89:15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.

Be Free!

We can always make mistakes along our roads in life, but we shouldn’t forget that we have the most amazing GPS (Godly Positioning System) in our lives, and He happens to be Jesus Christ. He can change the course of our lives so that we don’t do life alone and travel through perilous paths with no direction. The question is, do you want God to show you were you Ought to go? The mistakes of yesterday won’t stop Him from loving you today and forever. He still wants to change the course of your life and lead you in the Right Direction if you just submit your will to Gods.

James 4:7Humility Cures Worldliness ] Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

I pray that as you listen to this song, you will practice some level of introspection to look inside your heart and be honest with yourself and come to the conclusion that you are indeed in need of the Savior, Jesus Christ. God wants you to learn to reach out to Him in any time of need and to learn to put your trust in the right place. Put your Trust in the Lord and He will lead you in the right direction, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6 [Full Chapter]
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

I pray that this song by Travis Greene blesses your Spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

The Breaker is Our Maker

Hello Peeps!

I just had to post this song by Travis Greene called The Breaker. This song is ringing strongly in my spirit as I think of how sovereign our God is. Sometimes as children we can be petulant and self-entitled for things and simply assume that we deserve everything when God already gave us His best, which was His only Begotten Son Jesus, who came down from Heaven and became a man that dwelt among us, taught us about the love of God, was bruised and shamed for our transgressions, was nailed on a cross for our sake and still loved us as He died on that cross.

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Micah 2:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)

13 “The [a]breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them].
They will break out, pass through the gate and go out;
So their King goes on before them,
The Lord at their head.”

What a miracle it was that Jesus, Our Savior, resurrected for us to show us that death has no victory over our lives. But think of this…the victory Jesus gave us, wasn’t just about death itself, it was His victory over all SIN. Jesus defeated the power of SIN in our lives that causes us to die spiritually and leave us separated from the Love of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

When I listen to this song, I think of the greatness of God, and how He takes our mistakes, or failures, our shortcomings and tells us that even in or Brokenness, He has the power to use it and make us brand new by redeeming us from the brokenness that shame brings us. God can break the shame and restore us to be in right standing again in Him. So this message is for everyone… because all have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God, but we can take heart, because He has overcome the World of sin for us all.

Romans 3:23 [Full Chapter]
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

We can stand tall and Know that Jesus Christ is God and that He loves us with an everlasting love. We need to embrace the Redeemer, because it is by His Stripes that we are healed and made whole again.

Jeremiah 31:3 [Full Chapter]
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

Isaiah 54:5 – For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

Job 19:25 – For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;

Psalm 19:14 – Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

So when you listen to this song, just remember that no one is perfect but through Christ, we become perfected in Jesus Name, Amen! I pray that this song ministers to your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Always Only Jesus!

Hi Peeps!

Yay, for the Long weekend! Well, it’s Labour Day here in Canada which means a short work week for me! YAY! Honestly, summer went by so quickly that it’s almost a blur what happened this summer for me. It’s in this transition of seasons that we must realize that we must adjust our attitudes and behaviours to embrace and adapt to the new things that are coming our way in the new season that God is pushing us to. You may have enjoyed this past summer season but this season is coming to an end and Fall is around the corner for those who live in the Northern Hemisphere.

I believe that no matter where you are in the world, you always have to remain vigilant about the new seasons that God brings you to. If you don’t adjust your attitude to the new seasons that God brings you to, then you will always fail to recognize the “right” opportunities and people you are supposed to connect to and also disconnect from in the new season.

Some people that walked with you in the last season, were only for that Season only and cannot be brought into the new thing that God is pushing you towards. It is at this time that building on spiritual discernment and discerning the times is important so that you remain aware that walking in the Will of God won’t always attract friends that will support it.

Sometimes, the friends of your last season will become the enemies of your new season and that is when you have to learn to cut off a meaningful relationship at the right time when you see a change in behaviour that does not align with God’s purpose for your life. Friendly friends can be triggered by the blessings coming your way and can easily turn into Unfriendly friends in your next season. It is up to you to recognize when that friendship is over. Think of Saul and David. Saul didn’t initially hate David, because Saul enjoyed the way David played the harp even when he was going crazy at times. The playing of the harp would ease Saul’s soul for a time but there came a point where he despised David if you continue to read the following chapters of 1 Samuel 16-18.

A friend of yesterday can easily become an enemy tomorrow given the right conditions and circumstances that arise in your life. Especially, when God wants to promote you and elevate you to a new level for the purpose of His Kingdom. The thing is, it’s sometimes hard to let go of meaningful relationships when we treasure those relationships and want to keep them. But sometimes, the will of God will trump that relationship over your life if God’s purpose is to elevate you, and protect you from being derailed from fulfilling your God-given destiny for your life by helping you to cut those relationships “On time” so that you don’t bring them into a season where God wants to elevate you, especially, when certain friendships are posing as a hindrance to His purpose for your life. You will have to learn to fear God more so than your friends and family at times just in order to stay in right-standing with God. This by no means is an easy task, but that is the reason fearing the Lord is so important, because fools despise wisdom whereas a wise man will fear the Lord and will simply do what He says even if it doesn’t make sense to you at the time and isn’t always the easiest choice to make either.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 9:10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

So when you think about pursuing to fulfill your God-given purpose in life, just remember, that God will shake certain things in your life on purpose in order to prune the dead-end relationships that won’t add to your life nor help you in fulfilling your God-driven destiny. Learn to appreciate the changes that come in every season, and remember that God does things always for your good, even if you don’t understand it at the time. His will, will always be to prosper you and not to harm you, and to give you hope and a bright future, so let God shake what needs to be shaken out of your life in order for His will to come to pass in your life, Amen! 🙂

Jeremiah 29:11(NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

To finish off this post, I have this amazing song by ISLY called Always Only Jesus. I pray that this song blesses your Spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Glory – Livin’ for the Glory of His Name Seekin’ His Face!

Hey Peeps!

You’ve just got to hear this song by Evan and Eris called Glory. The beat to this song is so fun. Got me boppin’ to it. I can’t help but like the verse that states “Now I’m Livin’ for the Glory of His Name Seekin’ His Face“. I think as Christians, we need to ask ourselves if in our current lives, are we living in this manner in everything we do? I’m not talking about somethings we do…. I’m talking about EVERYTHING we do? When I thought about this, I thought I’m pretty challenged because, we sometimes can get complacent and forget the preciousness of living under the Grace of God. The way in which we live should scream gratitude because we are living under the grace of God. The precious life we have now was bought at the price of Jesus’ Blood that was shed for all of us who have sinned so that through Him, we can be redeemed and come back in right standing before God the Father. That deserves a shout of “Hallelujah!” if you ask me! So when you listen to this song, just remember, that the life you live right now should give Him Glory in all that you do. I pray that this song Blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

It’s Gonna Be Big!

Happy Sunday Y’all!

I just had to post this awesome song by Pastor Mike Jr. called B!g. I think that when we seek God to do something Big in our lives, we have to be open to the fact that we have to function with a spirit of anticipation towards whatever God is going to do over your life.

Tithing is one area in the church that has the power to provide financial breakthrough over your life. Imagine that 10% of what you make has the power to release financial blessing and breakthroughs in your life. Some people are financially strapped because they can’t trust God with a mere 10% of their income each time they receive their pay cheque. Listen, Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of the Lord. Faith also requires you to act on what you hear.

Malachi 3:10Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

I’m not talking about a “prosperity gospel” here, because some churches have got that twisted. It’s an obedience factor thing that I’m talking about. Isn’t it funny how we can trust the banks with our cash but we can’t trust God with our money? If we have faith to put money down to invest in a bank account, then in the same way, we should have the same level of faith to invest in God’s church. YOU ARE THE CHURCH! Invest in the Word of God over your life and test God in this area. I’ve written about tithing before in a post called Tithes and Offerings for Breakthroughs . In that post, you will understand the importance of trusting God with your finances. It’s both an obedience factor and a faith factor thing. I believe that in the coming days, God is unleashing uncommon favour and blessing to those that want to step outside the ordinary, and seek to step into the EXTRA-Ordinary things of God.

The only way to step into something like that is by shifting your mindset and preparing your heart to do something unconventional, and possibly doing something that hasn’t been done before yet. Barrier breakers are those that push past the limitations of what is deemed as “humanly possible”. However, let me challenge you to think that it’s time we push past what is “Humanly Possible” and focus on tapping into the “With God, All things are Possible!” factor. Are you willing to go there in your mind this year? Ask yourself this as you listen to this song. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Matthew 19:26 [Full Chapter]
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Oh to Dwell Here Forever!

Hi Peeps!

John 4:24 [Full Chapter]
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

I just had to post this amazing worship song sung by All Nations Worship Assembly Atlanta called Most Beautiful. My God, I was in a place of surrender when I heard this song. The song sounds amazing in surround sound and it just causes you to feel undone when you hear the sincerity in this worship. Sometimes, there comes a place when you’re so filled with gratitude to God that there literally no words to describe how you feel about God. That’s the way I feel right now. God is soooo Good that there literally no words to describe this feeling of His goodness. All you just want to do is give the Lord the highest praise! I pray that as you listen to this song, may in minister to your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Psalm 99:5 Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His footstool— He is holy.

Psalm 99:9 Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the Lord our God is holy.

Zephaniah 2:11 The Lord will be awesome to them, For He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth; People shall worship Him, Each one from his place, Indeed all the shores of the nations.

John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
