God has to be in it

Hello Everybody!

It’s Day 8 of the 21 day Fast and I’m still going on strong. I just give God Praise.

I remember sitting with a woman in my church a couple of weeks ago talking about her situation of last year where she held a grudge against a co-worker that led her to lose her job just because she couldn’t forgive the person for their malicious lies and gossip about her. She felt so much deep regret over her actions because she did something that caused her to get fired. Her supervisor was initially on her side because they were aware of how that other co-worker was stirring up strife in the workplace until she did something unthinkable; She waited 4 hours to confront the person outside their workplace. She literally sat in the car waiting for this person that was irritating her at work brooding on what she was going to say to get all that anger out and tell this person where to go.

When her coworker finally came out at the end of her shift, this lady went out of her car and approached this woman and spoke her mind out of anger to this person which gave her coworker the ammunition she needed to use that confrontation to get her fired. Her supervisor was aware that the lady she had been having issues with was indeed a liar but the fact that she confronted her outside of their place of work in front of everybody made her look bad in that she was giving the company she worked for a bad image.

Oh my heart went out for her as she relayed her story to me. If she had some good friends around her, they should have stopped her from doing what she did because there is safety in a multitude of wise counselors but I guess she didn’t have anyone to really rely on and relied on her own emotions (might and power) which were obviously unstable and unreliable since she was upset at the constant harassment and conniving behaviour of the other individual. I don’t think she’s the only one that’s made this type of mistake before, however, the reason why I’m sharing this example is so that you understand what I mean about how you confront your battles this year. You cannot afford to approach the same attack from last year in this year the same way again. Learn from every lesson that you learn.

For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

Had she dealt with the issue by learning to:

1) not give into the harassment,

2) have self-control and not lash out in anger,

3) not have her pride get in the way,

3) forgive the person that spitefully used her and mocked her she would not have found herself without a job today.

Despite all that…the story is something that’s in the past. The most important thing is to learn from your mistake. The worst thing is going through something like this and not learning that you were in the wrong. I could see that the whole experience had humbled her to the point of feeling woeful, so I told her that this year is a new year for her to get over that mistake. I encouraged her and said that the old thing has passed away, so look towards the new thing God wants to do with her. I believe that God wants to shift her perspective and reposition her to a better job but the first hurdle is learning from the past to move ahead. Let go and let God. I also believe that she needs to understand she can’t treat the same attack the same way again this year. You’ve got to wisen up and be strategic about the way you deal with people who challenge you and your patience. She has to go to God next time.

King Hezekiah did it when he was confronted by Sennacherib, the King of Assyria who jeered at him and mocked him  in 2 Chronicles 32. Hezekiah knew that he not only had his own pride to think about, he had the weight of the whole nation of Israel at stake. He consulted with his leaders (wise counselors) knowing that Sennacherib was up to something devious (2 Chronicles 32:3). Could he seriously afford to confront the mockery of Sennachrib for the sake of his own pride or was it better to remain quiet, be strategic and take it up with God. Hezekiah chose to go to God first (2 Chronicles 32:20) and that is what I’m saying…Go to God when you know that you have more than just your mere pride at stake. You’ve got other people depending on you and you haven’t got the time to play around with someone testing your patience. Keep real quiet and go into the upper room with God. Your victory is found when you go on your knees. Don’t lift your nose at your enemy, lower your knees before God because that’s where in your victory lies.

It’s better to hold your tongue if you’ve got nothing good to say rather than say things that you can’t take back. Death and life are in the power of our tongue…The tongue is indeed a difficult thing to bridle; however, we have to make an effort to hold it from saying whatever it wants to say. We either bless ourselves or curse ourselves with the words that we speak out of our mouths.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

Despite the loss of last year, I believe this woman will have a testimony this year. It’s not over for her until God says it’s over. I know that I’ve made countless mistakes in my life so in no way will I claim I’m a perfect person. But I will say, that I’m still being perfected through Christ. Don’t beat yourself up over your past…don’t let people remind you of  your yesterdays when God’s plan is to prosper you for your tomorrows. God’s agenda in your life has not changed just because you made a mistake.

 Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Notice how God has many “thoughts” toward you. That just goes to show you how much He thinks about you. He loves you so much that he wants you to live a victorious life. So not even a mistake will change His mind about you. He wants to bless you. So don’t feel discouraged and keep moving forward. The devil has a way of using others to discourage you out of your next place of promotion, elevation, or opportunity to network with the right people, but just remember, When GOD is in your situation, there are no limits, AMEN.

I put this song by Israel Houghton and New Breed called It’s Not Over (When God Is In It) to encourage you today and bless your spirit. God Bless You everybody. Love y’all! 😀

A Word of Encouragement – The Debt is Paid in FULL

Hello Everybody!

So today I’m just going to give word of Encouragement regarding Salvation. This week we are celebrating the Debt our Lord and Savior paid on the cross for our salvation that we find in Him. The Debt that He paid was for all of us who struggle with our weaknesses, failures and mistakes and also includes the heavy sins and offenses we commit that seem unforgivable. He died and paid the full price of our debt with His precious blood for all of mankind including those who are robbers, killers, murderers, thieves, adulterers, liars, cheats, schemers, hustlers, gossipers, abusers, traitors, the proud and haughty, the greedy, the perverted, the narcissistic, etc. and for all who have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of the Lord because of these weaknesses, failures, mistakes and offenses (sin).  As people we find it difficult to forgive each other for such weaknesses and failures that others commit against us because we get offended easily and seem to know how to point out other peoples weaknesses to easily out of bitterness and anger which makes it hard for us to love people, but Jesus says,

With Men and Women it may be impossible to forgive, but with God All things are possible to those that Believe that I, Jesus , Forgives All”.

So In this season, believe today that there is nothing you have done that cannot be forgiven by our Lord Jesus Christ. Some people wrestle with their weaknesses and feel no peace within them because of that feeling of self-condemnation and self-loathing that torments their minds for their wrongdoing, but Jesus says that:

“There is no Condemnation in Me because I overcame the World, I overcame the Grave and I overcame Death and Every Offense (Sin) known to Man”.

His wish is for all people to be set free from self-condemnation and self-loathing behaviours by His forgiveness so that you can enjoy an everlasting life with Him walking in the Freedom and knowledge that Jesus came to set  you free from the torment that condemnation brings when we do things that go against what is right, what is good and what is Godly in the eyes of our Savior.  So if you don’t know Jesus, or if you know of Him but fell away during your journey, here is a little prayer to welcome Him into your Heart. He is the one that will restore you and give you inner peace by His Blood that was shed for you and me.

He is the one that Forgives all, Loves All and Paid our Debt of Sin in Full at the Cross.

Sinner’s Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I come before your presence and acknowledge all my faults, my failures, my sins and all of my weaknesses, sins I know I have done and sins I don’t know I have committed. I no longer want to live this way feeling like I’m living a life that’s leading me down the wrong path without your guidance and direction to do what is pleasing and what is right before your eyes, so please forgive me Jesus and come into my heart. Restore me Jesus and cleanse me with your redeeming blood that you shed for me at the Cross. I believe that You Jesus, Who Died on the Cross and shed your blood for me, who conquered the grave and resurrected on the third day is my Savior and Lord. Thank you for loving and forgiving me Jesus. Thank you for setting me free from all my mistakes, failures, weaknesses and all of my sins, in Jesus’ Name I pray,

AMEN.

Hallelujah! The Angels are rejoicing in Heaven right now as you read this message! God Loves you sooooo much that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus to die for us so that we can be redeemed. Let the redeemed of the Lord Say SO! Praise the Lord! So, now that you have said this prayer, you have put away the old person and have become a new creation in Christ.  God is soo amazing and He loves you very very much. If you have family members or friends that need this message, then I encourage you to re-blog or pass it along. They need to know that Jesus Loves them no matter what they have done. God’s Love ENDURES FOREVER.

To finish off this encouragement I have a song to bless you today called The Everlasting God. Stay Blessed in God’s Love for you Today.

The Importance of Repentance that Allows for Release of Blessings

Day 7 of 21 Day Daniel Fast –  So today’s meditation is concerning the need for repenting and fessing up our mistakes, failures, wrongdoings, offenses against other people, against ourselves and ultimately against GOD. If we really want God to hear from heaven regarding our need of His hand of Mercy and Grace on our lives, we need to put everything that doesn’t represent Him under the Blood of Jesus Christ. We need to confront our sinful natures and also the sins of generations past in order to cause God to hear our prayers and heal us, restore us, fight for us and turn us away from condemnation. When we refuse to repent because of our puffed up pride or simply because we’re in denial of our wrongdoings and willful behaviors that cause us to be in trouble or cause us to be left in pain, we leave no room for God to help us out of our situations.

Today, I emphasize the need for us to seriously look deep within ourselves and renounce the things that keep us from progressing in our lives. Seek Gods face for forgiveness of all sins known and unknown, for things we have done or have failed to do (Commission & Omission), for the things our relatives and generations past have done that are affecting your current generations/or future generations that we have not been put under the Blood of Jesus Christ. I am referring to Generational curses/tendencies such as i.e. alcoholism, abuse, divorces, rejection, anger and bitterness, slander, murder etc. Whatever it is, put it under the Blood during this time of Prayer and Fasting and seek God’s face to heal your afflictions and restore the years where you suffered because of Guilt and Shame and also Unforgiveness.

Essentially, repentance is a call for serious humility. It says in the Word that:

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

So, everything that we need to repent for during this Fast must first be put under the Blood so that we can come to the Father and He will hear from heaven when we humble ourselves and Pray and seek his face as we turn from our Wicked ways.

2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

The promise of Repentance is that He will heal Us and He will Heal the Land. When the Land is Healed, everything begins to prosper and therefore, we will prosper. So I implore you to think about repenting for your past mistakes and failures and for the past mistakes and failures and sins that have been past onto you from generation to generation through bloodline sins. Seek God’s forgiveness in these areas in humility and set aside your pride so that God will Hear from Heaven. Also, do not forget to forgive those that have wronged you. As hard as this may sound to believe, God will forgive you when you also learn to forgive others as well no matter how grievous their offense may be.

James 4:6
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “ God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

Because we are engaged in a Spiritual battle, you have to be aware that the Devil would rather have you suffer in your PRIDE and NOT repent than see you go on your knees before God and repent because He (Jesus) is the one that can set you Free from the Devil’s schemes.

John 8:36
Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Isn’t it better to walk in the freedom of the Word of God that says He’ll forgive if you repent than be enslaved to sin?

Remember to not participate in this 21 Day Daniel Fast (or any other Fast for that matter) in vain and Fast with a purpose to Change your Ways, your thoughts, and most importantly YOURSELF.  Think about all this during your meditations.

I have a song that I love yet again to share with you to meditate on How much God loves you enough to send His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish but have everlasting Life (John 3:16).

He Forgives All so seek to be Forgiven by repenting for all your mistakes and failures that you have committed, that your families have committed which include others who have done wrong against you. Seek God’s Hand of Forgiveness so that He may bless you with DIVINE Freedom from condemnation, guilt and shame. This song is from Dietrick Haddon and it’s called AMEN. Be Blessed by this Song.

To Him who loved us and washed[a] us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings[b] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
