Secret Place – Where we need to be in 2021

Happy New Year Everybody!

Today, I want to post a song sung by Isly called Secret Place because this song is in my spirit right about now. As I meditate, I believe that this year will be a year where we all need to seek God stronger than ever before. We need to reverence God more and seriously seek Him on a serious level this year. I believe that during this period of Lock-downs and Quarantine, people can be ignited at full blast with the gifts of the Spirit if they seek Him diligently right now. Frankly, we should be seeking the Lord’s face all our lives if we are Christians, so why wait when you can start pursuing to grow deeper in the knowledge of the Lord right now? The world is changing and the thing is this though… there is nothing new under the sun as far as the Lord is concerned, but through His Son Jesus, He can make things new.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.

Revelation 21:4-6 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [a]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It[b] is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

I believe that unprecedent miracles will take place this year if we believe for it. The Lord is looking for willing Sons and Daughters who will work His Word boldly in 2021. Are you willing to be Bold for Christ this Year? 2020 showed us how easy it was to be conditioned to set our hearts and minds at a frequency that tuned into bad news only. But as Christians, we need to renew our mindset at this hour and set our hearts to align at God’s frequency which is FAITH. Do not be overly consumed by FEAR, because fear is a language…and as Christians, we need to tune into the Holy Spirit’s frequency of FAITH. How do we tune into that frequency? The fact is… it’s already in His Word… the answer is this:

Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fearbut of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Psalm 119:148 – My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalm 1:2 – But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditateday and night.

James 1:22 – But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Purpose to Meditate on God’s Word – THE BIBLE this Year

You need to meditate on God’s Word daily and actively Seek Him to Observe and act on God’s Word by FAITH. It’s not enough to be Hearers of the Word if we as Christians have no intention of being Doers of His Word. God is going to reward those that DO. So this Year, focus on being a DOER of His Word rather than succumbing to the noise of the World’s fears that distract you from operating by FAITH. I pray that as you listen to this song, may it fuel your spirit with Hope, Love and FAITH for this year. God Bless You Everybody!

Faithful Everyday – I Will Wait

Hello Peeps!

I just have two amazing songs to bless your spirit today. The first song is by David Dunn called Grace Will Lead Me Home.

Image result for Hagar and sarahThe last song I also have for you is by Lincoln Brewster  called While I Wait. I feel that the last song really ministered to me because how many of you can’t stand waiting for something that is promised to you to come? Whether it be a promotion, a job, a spouse, or hoping to have children or birth a business, etc etc…. God knows what the desires we have in our hearts are before we even ask Him, but that doesn’t mean as people, we may not be impatient to receiving these promises and take things into our own hands. Remember in the Book of Genesis when Moses and Sarah where waiting to birth Isaac, the child of promise, but then Sarah got impatient and felt like God had forgotten her and had suggested that her husband (Moses) lie with her servant Hagar to birth him a son to continue Moses’ genealogy? The idea seemed to make human sense to Sarah, but God new that there would be implications to such a suggestion unbeknown-st to Sarah. Unfortunately, Sarah was desperate and discouraged that she didn’t think this suggestion would affect her marriage in any way… Unfortunately, as you read on…you will see how much strife brewed after agreeing to do things Sarah’s way rather than waiting on God’s way to fulfill a promise.

Sarah’s servant Hagar did inevitably birth a son to Moses and named him Ishmael Genesis 16 , however, Sarah’s impatience and inability to trust God caused her to make this life changing mistake. Because Hagar was able to produce a son for Moses, Hagar used Sarah’s insecurities as a woman to taunt Sarah and make fun of her for her presumed infertility. Hagar simply assumed that Sarah would never be able to give birth to a child for Moses despite being his wife considering that Sarah was beyond child-bearing years to do so. HOWEVER, but God PEOPLE! BUT GOD!!!!!

Genesis 21:1-7

Isaac Is Born

21 And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him—whom Sarah bore to him—Isaac.[a] Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to himAnd Sarah said, “God has [b]made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.” She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

God showed Hagar and Sarah that He is a God that is able to pull what seemed to be impossible and make it possible to those that BELIEVE. Sarah did give birth to Isaac as promised and this caused strife and enmity between her and Hagar. As a result of this strife, Hagar was then told by Moses to leave them as a result. In thinking about the end result of Sarah’s impatience and unbelief, what can you learn about this based on her situation? In reference to Hagar who taunted Sarah mercilessly, there’s this saying that goes, He who laughs first, laughs last. Just because people around you don’t see where it is that you are going, and poke fun at you based on how they see right now, doesn’t mean that what they say trumps what God will actually do for you if you put your complete TRUST IN THE LORD.

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.

And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.

Image result for Worship GodAlthough I used the birth of a child as an example, it is applicable to you in different aspects of your life. Like I said, it could apply to those who are waiting to birth a business idea, a child, or waiting for the right relationships to enter into your life to take you to where you ought to go in your destiny.

My message to you is that God hasn’t forgotten you even if you feel like you’ve been abandoned, forsaken, and waiting for a long time for a breakthrough. God is with you every step you take in your journey. While you wait, Trust in God and Worship Him as the song by Lincoln Brewster emphasizes. God is Faithful everyday, so just know that every promise God has for you, He is the One Who is sure to bring everything that He has for you to completion. So in the mean time, what do you do while waiting? The answer is simple….continue to Worship Him (GOD) Everyday. Worship God in Spirit and in Truth and God will definitely answer you in His Divine Timing. The question is, are you willing to Worship God while waiting? Think about that today as you listen to this song. God Bless You Everybody!

Committing to God’s Business Plan for Your Life

Hello Everybody! 😀

Today, I want to talk about God’s business plan for your life. In order for me to talk about this, you kind of need to know what it means to have a business plan, so I’ll give you an example from the Business World.

a91a4ac7a83095fb0178c01991d87132In my workplace, I assist a VP and a group of directors and managers in the process of creating a business plan for our subgroup. We drew up plans for certain strategic goals and initiatives we’d like to implement for the year and after we finalized these goals and initiatives, we drew up a financial proposal for funds required to support our groups goals and initiatives. These plans are then given to the Executive board of directors for the company who decide what goals they are willing to implement and what they are not, and they also ensure our strategic goals and initiatives fit in alignment with the overall organization’s  strategic plan, goals and initiatives. On that basis, that’s when we find out what our year is going to look like and helps us to re-strategize for initiatives that are scrapped, or under-funded or under-resourced.

In the same way, God is like the head of an organization who has a Strategic plan for your life. He has a Business Plan for your life and wants you to be a part of it.

The Question is, “do you know what God’s plan is for your life?”

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God’s plan is to have you included in His business plan. I know that many of us have our own sets of goals, aspirations, dreams and most likely have our own plan of obtaining the things we desire, but the question I want to pose to you is this, Did you give your plan to God for Him to screen and assess what goals do not line up with the vision that He has for your life?

I was talking to God the other day, through prayer obviously, and the Lord gave me this idea for this post, in fact most of my blog posts are inspired by the Holy Spirit. I never write until I have a message. Anyway, so I was praying the other day and the Holy Spirit just kept bringing to my attention on the hard work it was to set up all these meetings to create my subgroups business plan before the executive committee and the Holy Spirit brought to my attention and asked me a question. He asked me, “How many of My people ask me about their business plan for their lives?” And the question really hit me, because I had to assess myself and think, how many times had I failed to bring an idea or desire before God and asked Him what He thought about it and the way I was going about it?

We have to include God in our business plan. I believe that God wants to satisfy the desires of our hearts, but how about partnering with Him by also including in our plan to satisfy the desires of Jesus’ heart. When you include God in your plan, you will surely succeed. You see, most of the time, our desires, goals and dreams don’t always line up with God’s plan for our lives and then people get disappointed when things don’t go their way. Have you ever asked God to screen and assess your business plan to see if it lines up with His vision for your life?  If the answer is no, then this is the point I’m making, we need to go back to that place where we put the desires of our own hearts into God’s hand so that He can screen what is in alignment to His will for your life, and scrap out what you don’t need in your life, because sometimes, our desires are not always pure and may potentially be desires that steer you away from true success.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

image2

You see, we need to understand that though God wants us to succeed, we also have to understand that our destiny is also wrapped up in Jesus. He gave you talents in order to use them to advance His cause, which is the cause of Christ Jesus to spread the gospel of hope, peace and love to a world that does not know Him.

Well, how can I line up with God’s Business plan?

Let me encourage you and say that God has given us all we need to be effective to minister the Word of God to a world that doesn’t know him. Some people think that they have nothing to offer if they don’t stand on the pulpit, but let me tell you right now, it’s not about standing on the pulpit. You are important and your gift and talents are what you need to use to advance God’s Business.

My gift is in writing and business administration. I’m an Executive Assistant in the Legal Profession. I currently use these gifts in the church as a Personal Assistant to my Pastors. I started blogging for myself, but have used my abilities to create a website for my church to transmit sermons for those that are unable to make it to church. I’m in charge of the social media aspects of the church with Facebook and twitter, periscope etc etc. I prepare sound check and the projector for the worship service and do a bunch of other things from skills I already use in the marketplace. I also minister in the church and preach/prophesy whenever I’m requested to speak under submission to my pastors. I’m using what I know to do to be effective in advancing the message of the gospel and so can you. I enjoy writing more than speaking, and hence I blog a lot, however, what I’m trying to say is that God has already given you the tools to be a blessing to someone else. I’m not saying that you should do what I do. I’m only doing what I know to do based on my gifts and talents. You should utilize your own gifts your own way to do the same thing. You really don’t have to over-think this folks. God needs you to join Him in His Business Plan. Will you join and partner with Jesus on this?

c9ed72f44d4746bd4962c5c3211d7bbdIf you’re asking yourself “How can I be used, I don’t know what to do with my gift or talent?”, Well, what I’ll say to you is this, there is no gift or talent that is too small that it can’t be used by God to be a blessing to someone else. I’ll give you some examples. If you are a stay-at-home mom, and you love children, then you can be helpful in Children’s ministry. Teach the kids in the church how to love God and worship him. If you are a cleaner/custodian, the church needs to be cleaned and prepared for welcoming newcomers and people that need to hear the message without stepping on gum or what have you on the ground and being distracted by how the place is messy. Be a blessing and volunteer to clean the church. If you only know how to cook then, help out during special events with catering for food or join a soup kitchen and serve the poor who are hungry. If you are an architect, you can assist in expansion and provide structural consultation and advice regarding how the church building can create rooms for more activities for other ministries. If you are a financial advisor in the marketplace, you can use your skills in the church to get people in the church out of debt by volunteering your expertise. If you are a nurse, if somebody suddenly collapses in the church, you will be needed to assist that person.  If you know how to play an instrument or know how to sing, join the worship team. If you are a teacher, then assist the church with bible-study classes. I could go on and on and on, but what I’m trying to say is, that everybody is relevant and God gave you these gifts and talents as a part of  Jesus’ Business Plan. If you do not include Jesus in the plans for your life, just know that your plans are futile and won’t succeed.

The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile.

If you want God to be helping you in your business, you have to want to be a part of helping Him in His business. You will require wise counsel and direction which also means that if you want great success in your life, you must show your business plan to the Greatest CEO of your Life, Jesus Christ.

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

Do not be disappointed with the things God strikes off on the list of your strategic plan for success. Just be aware, that His plan is still to prosper you and He knows exactly what you need and require in order to achieve your dreams, but you have to be humble, willing to work, and willing to press forward towards the goal, His WAY. Include God in the picture of your life, Amen!

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

Plans are established by seeking advice; so if you wage war, obtain guidance.

There is a consequence for ignoring to give God the Business Plan for your life to see if it aligns with His Business Plan. You will do things in your own might and power and will do things in secret thinking you’re smart and do not need advice on how to make it. Many people expect God to follow their plans, but have no intention of being part of the overall plan that God has over their lives. Such people do not know the meaning of submission and are very rebellious. If you fail to be a part of God’s Business plan, then I can tell you right now, you will live a very difficult life and will lose everything you think you’ve worked hard for within a blink of an eye if you assume that Your Ways are better than God’s ways. I guarantee that.

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?”

[ Woe to the Obstinate Nation ] “Woe to the obstinate children,” declares the Lord, “to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin;

When you partner with Jesus as the CEO of your life, you will be successful in every area. Do not be obstinate and incorrigible about how you want to do life. Learn to seek God in EVERYTHING that you do. You need Him to screen your dreams, plans and desires to ensure that they line up with His Jeremiah 29:11 strategic plan for your life. If you want to have no part in the overall spreading the gospel of Truth part of that plan, then you have automatically shut God out of your plan. You must understand that your life is so much more than waking up, going to work, making money, eating and sleeping and waking up the next day to do that all over again. There is a generation dying to know that they have a purpose in their life and need direction, but how can they receive direction if no one wants to follow God’s business plan?

But the noble make noble plans, and by noble deeds they stand.

Isaiah558-9-e1369426704519

In order to align to God’s Business Plan for your life, you need to know His Word. This isn’t an option, it’s a requirement to satisfy the conditions of success, and I mean Godly success.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Remember, our ways are not His ways, so let us partner with Jesus and get on the same page and join in on committing to God’s Business Plan for our lives, Amen! 😀

Here is a song by Bethel’s Steffany Frizzell-Gretzinger  called Closer. I pray that this song ministers to your spirit today. God bless you everybody! 😀

Nothing is Impossible

Happy Sunday Everybody!

God is sooooo good that I just had to share this little story here about what Faith is. Sometimes we have things that we can and cannot do in life. With the things we can do, we must do those things to the best of our ability, but with the things we cannot do, that is when we must learn to lean on God for help. Seek Him and Enjoy this Story.

Source: http://thebeststatus.com/nothing-is-impossible/

Nothing is Impossible.

A young man working in the army was constantly humiliated because he believed in God.

One day the captain decided to humiliate him before the troops. He called the young man and said:

– Young man, take the key and go and park the Jeep in front.

The young man replied:
– I can not drive!

The captain said:
– But then ask your assistance from God! Shows us that He exists!

The young man took the key and walked to the vehicle, praying the whole time.

…As a result he parked the Jeep to the place PERFECTLY well as the captain wanted.

The young man came out of the jeep and saw them all crying.

They all said together:
– We want to serve your God!

The young soldier was astonished, he wanted to know what was going on?

CAPTAIN was crying, and he opened the hood of the jeep showing the young man that the car had no engine.

Then the boy said:
See? This is the God I serve, the God who gives life to what does not exist. You may think there are things that are still impossible, but with God all things are possible.

THIS GOD OF IMPOSSIBILITY WILL BE YOUR GOD TODAY!

Self Productivity vs. Self Pity

godprovides

Hi Everybody!

god-will-never-leave-you-emptyIt’s been a while since I last posted anything on here, and I apologize since it’s been kind of up and down for me lately. For those that haven’t read one of my previous posts, I got laid off from my job recently, and I have been going through the job search phase and keeping my hopes up and keeping my faith alive. I keep speaking positive into my situation, and will believe that this time of unemployment shall pass. Either way, I am enjoying the time I have to spend with the Lord each day. I get to pray and seek His face each day as I wonder what will tomorrow bring?

The way I see it, it’s better to be productive rather than sit around milling about thinking of what could have been, but wasn’t, what should have been, but isn’t. It leads a person down the road to self-pity land which is a place I refuse to go to. Sometimes, when things like a job or a family member or a loved one is snatched away from you, you run the chance of choosing to operate in one of two attitudes; one that is grateful for the grace of God that is on your life that helps you see each day is in God’s hands, or one that is hateful towards God and despises the joy of others while you are in your own perceived trial or test. One way or another, it’s better to live a life filled with GRATITUDE in your ATTITUDE rather than operate with with DISRESPECT and SELF-ENTITLEMENT.

In a way, no one owes you anything and people who live humbly are often the ones who live with gratitude in their hearts. Everything in this world belongs to God and God owes us nothing and yet He still gave us His beloved and begotten Son Jesus, to die for us and resurrect for us in fulfillment of the scriptures to save us from the price of living in sin which is death. God wants all of us to have life and LIVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY!

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The greatest way to live in life is not seeking pity from others about your circumstances, but seeking a reason to Give the Lord PRAISE EVERYDAY!!!!

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIM! The question is, do we really believe that and are we truly seeking His face?

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

It is so important to give the Lord Praise everyday, because nothing in this life is secure nor permanent since life is transient and temporary. However, we all have the ability to secure our lives in Jesus Christ by making it a point to live productive lives worshiping our King of kings through acts of kindness, being representatives of His grace in our daily encounters with people everyday which include the workplace, family, or church. We all have a duty to remain productive.

Self-pity is self-seeking behaviour…and NOT a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Provision
It is a choice to choose to be SELF-PRODUCTIVE (solution focused thinking) versus SELF-PITY (self-seeking, arrogant, prideful and self-entitled behavioural thinking).

CHOOSE to be SELF-PRODUCTIVE because such people find solutions and more answers to questions than those who are self-focused individuals that cannot see past their own mirror and see that the very answers that they seek concerning their trial or situation may very well lie within them.

The Key to remaining SELF-PRODUCTIVE…. is by keeping the right focus. FOCUS ON GOD!

Stop focusing on  yourself if you are because the rewards that God has for His people are only for those who are ACTIVELY and DILIGENTLY SEEKING HIM.

Question: Who are you seeking? What are you seeking? Are you Seeking God?

I believe that the Holy Spirit in me has been stirring me up to say to somebody today who maybe reading this post that:

“You’ve got to stop focusing on yourself and start seeking things of the Kingdom because all your treasures, all your prosperity, all your opportunities are wrapped up in JESUS!”.

If you don’t have Him in your heart…you will seek things of this world in vain and will not obtain the fullness of Joy that the treasures you attempt to store up  here on earth bring. 270205_530379613647954_1757161617_n

Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 6:21

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Psalm 16:11
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Today, Choose to be SELF-PRODUCTIVE have a solution-focused mindset rather than a defeatist attitude.  God works with FAITH…not with FAITHLESSNESS and SELFISHNESS.  It is impossible to please God without Faith (Hebrews 11:6)… if that is what you lack, then be productive, and WORK OUT YOUR FAITH with much reverential fear and trembling.

I have here  two songs to minister to you today. One by J. Moss called God’s Got It. It ministers to me and it’s a bit upbeat but I pray it ministers to you today.

The other is my Jason Nelson called Shifting the Atmosphere. May these worship songs bless your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody!
