Too Good to Not Believe!

Hi Peeps!

I just want to share this amazing song sung by Bethel Music and Brandon Lake called Too Good to Not Believe. I am so into this song right about now and just wanted to encourage you with this thought today… We as Christ believers must believe in the Wonder working miraculous-ness of God. It takes a lot of faith to simply accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord, but as we continue to walk in our Salvation through this journey of Faith, we must not let out faith dwindle but rather, we must purpose to cultivate it by continuously meditating God’s Word, and putting what we believe into PRACTICE. Faith without works is dead, but a Faith that is experiences by the works we choose to perform by Holy Spirit inspiration is what produces unfathomable results.

As Christians, I’ve been thinking about why Wonders and Signs aren’t following us like how they followed the Apostles when they were commissioned by Christ to spread the Word of God to the nations. We need to be of the same mind of the apostles and seek to function with the same level of expectant faith to see God work miracles for us and through us. If we want to see a great dispensation of the Holy Spirit functioning in the World, we need to increase our revelation and expectation for Miracles that God wants to perform through us by choosing to seek God’s will for our lives purposefully. When you seek Him, you will find Him. May we choose to Seek God diligently and find Him.

Here are some scriptures to help you mediate on this today:

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

James 2:19-25

19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is [a]dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made [b]perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was [c]accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

James 2:18
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Overcome and Release It!

Hello Peeps!

Today I want to post 2 songs by Vickie Winans to bless your spirit today. The first song is called Overcomer (Remix). This song is so off the hook in beat and sound that I know that it’ll bless you today. 😀

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

Do not be overcome and conquered by evil, but overcome evil with good.

For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].

Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.

Do the Carlton Dance of Victory lol 😀

Revelation 2:7

He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will grant [the privilege] to eat [the fruit] from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.’

And he who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] and he who keeps My deeds [doing things that please Me] until the [very] end, to him I will give authority and power over the nations;

He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, and I will confess and openly acknowledge his name before My Father and before His angels [saying that he is one of Mine].

He who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

The next song also by Vickie Winans is called Release It. I feel that this song speaks to all the pain, all the suffering you may have gone through in your life, all the trials you’ve been through that bring you to a place filled with discouragement, bitterness and hatred… God is saying to you, release all that pain and let it go so that you can walk in the freedom that He gives as he pours out His peace into your broken and tormented soul. Allow God to heal you and restore you so that you can have a sound mind and a peaceful heart to move in the confidence that God is in control of whatever situation you are in right now. Some days may feel quite bleak to you, but hold onto your faith in God and He will bring you out of the mire that you find yourself in. Trust God and He will help you to overcome every battle and trial that you face, so just keep on trusting Him, Amen! 😀 I pray that these songs minister to your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

Forgiven Because God is in Control

Hello People!

I wanted to post a couple of songs to bless your spirit today. The first one is by Crowder called Forgiven.  I seem to be a Crowder Band fan now since I’ve listened to some of their music. They are soooooooo cool. I know that this song will bless somebody today.

The next song is by Hillsong Worship called In Control. I pray that with whatever it is you are going through, whether it be difficult or sad times, just know that God is with you and that He is in control of your destiny. You may face setbacks, hurdles that keep you from moving forward, but you must keep pressing forward no matter what issues you face. You can overcome with the power of God on your side. I pray that these songs minister to your spirit today. God bless you everybody! 😀

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Drawing Closer to God

Hello Everybody! 😀

It’s been a while since my last post but I’m spending time with God by praying and fasting with my church for 1 week for the month of April. Although it is for 1 week, I’m looking forward to the next month where we will be doing 30 days for Prayer and Fasting. I really want people to tap into breakthroughs this year but not many churches want to pray and fast these days. Sometimes, the challenges we face require more than just prayer, you may require fasting in order to receive your breakthrough. I know that every time I’ve fasted, I’ve always seen results. People in my church have seen results to the point that people keep asking when is the next prayer and fasting session. People are hungry to tap into what can only be found in the Spirit. The Lord reveals so much during the fast that it empowers you when you humble your flesh to yield to the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Might and Power can only take you so far, but it is by His Spirit that you conquer your challenges that you face. It’s day 2 of the Fast for me for this month since we started yesterday and God is just doing amazing things. I feel like He’s just showing me things in the Word that I didn’t see before and I’m preparing to release this Word for Friday night with my members. I will eventually post it on here and on my church’s website Livingproofcentre.org after I release it to the Church first, but y’all can wait right lol. 🙂

For now I just want to post this song that has been ministering to my Spirit. It’s from Antwaun Stanley called You Are the Source.

I pray that this song blesses your Spirit Today.  God Bless You everybody! 😀

Learn to Stay in Your Lane

Hello People!

Happy Sunday! I’m still trying to get over the jetlag believe it or not. Lord help me now! lol. 😀

01454baeb76a64bf08ca3070349734c8Today’s post comes from experience. How many times have you driven (if you drive that is) and had someone cut you off and either:

1) slow down the moment they did that, or

2) they drive in such a way that they make it almost nearly impossible for you to overtake them? 😦

If you are a driver, holla! As a fellow driver, I know how annoying that can be. Some people even do things to get you into road rage, but the thing is, you’ve got to remain calm. Well that’s what any good driving instructor would ever tell you. Honestly, I should speak for myself because sometimes, I’m like “get off the road!” if I see careless driving skills going on. Father, Help ME NOW! lol 😀

tumblr_md8u5oz12c1qhmhdfo1_500Listen, sometimes people will do that to you in life. There will be people competing with you unnecessarily in your life trying to overtake you to show you how supposedly “better” they are than you at something. Some people may even antagonize you to speed with them and race them, but you shouldn’t fall for that nonsense. Just keep it real cool and stay in your lane! You don’t need to be tricked into getting into an accident with them. The mistakes I see people make is that when people are competing with others for attention or promotion that’s headed your way, they do things to try and make you mess up to make you miss your blessing which is your destination.

Don’t allow a fool on the road of your life to mess up the direction you are heading by being distracted by their shenanigans. There will be people trying to prove that they are better than you at something, but your job is to remain focused on the road you have to take. If they overtake you, let them…continue at a safe distance behind and remember, that just because they’re in front of you doesn’t mean they know where you’re going. When they aren’t paying too much attention, you’ll overtake them, just give it time because the road you are traveling on is one less traveled.

I believe that God is taking certain people to roads less traveled. Having said that though, you will have bad drivers in your life trying to follow you, overtake you, aggravate you as you pursue your destiny/destination. You have to stay on your lane to get to where you need to be. Those that compete with you are direction-less and mindless people that don’t know how to “stay in their lane”. When you allow God to be your GPS (Godly Positioning System), He will take you to places that will help you avoid all these obstacles. You need Emotional Strength to be a great driver. Don’t always react to every crazy driver that tries to pull stunts while you remain on the right path. God has given you a path to take, so continue in it.

d476a3477856cef4477ac1ac6518e2a9I remember being in a car accident a few years ago. I was hit by a bus and a huge SUV in the winter time at that. It’s a wonder why I’m still alive and all in one piece. Obviously, I give God the credit for it 😀 . But what I want to say is that, there may even be people in your life who will try to abort your destiny by trying to crash into you. That is when you need the Holy Spirit’s help to preserve your destiny. You need discernment and wisdom to continue your journey. That accident I went through like 5 years ago was insane. I had to go through soo much therapy to get back in shape again. I still suffer some back issues because of it, but I don’t allow the past to stop me from jumping back into my car and continue the course.

You see, sometimes, people will crash into you hoping that you won’t recover and continue your journey. In some cases, they hope that you die from the accident, which I think was the case for me, but praise God, I’m still here. Let me tell you, that with God on your side, nothing by any means can stop you from achieving what you need to achieve. Yes, like me who was in that accident, you might be delayed on the journey, but God will heal you and it will be up to you at that point to not be paralyzed by the fear of the accident to keep you continuing the journey.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

tumblr_meepy1JYLU1qhmhdfo1_500Some people encounter stuff like that in their lives and never drive again, but I’m a person that has too much destiny to stay put…I’ll continue moving forward and so should you. Don’t let the past hold you back from pursuing the future. Don’t let anybody’s mistake hold you back either. Just because people don’t like where you’re headed doesn’t mean that they have the capacity nor the power to hold you back from your destination. Don’t give people too much power over your destiny. Give your destiny into God’s Hands, and He will preserve you throughout the entire journey. Ask the Lord to give you the Spirit of wisdom and understanding to take you safely to your destination. You have to put your trust in God.

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Sometimes, you’ll encounter busy-bodies who are all up in your business wanting to know “where are you going?”. Remember my previous post about Wisdom in the Season where I talked about being DISCREET? Those are the times where you need to keep your mouth shut because such people are the same types of people that try to overtake you, ram into you and do crazy things while you are on your journey to your destination. You haven’t got the time for that.

15-1Yes, people will be jealous of you and will want to travel along side you to see if they can obtain the promise that God has for you when you get to your destination, but let me tell you, they have no right to what’s yours if they’ve never worked their faith as hard as you have to obtain it. No one has the right to steal or overtake you thinking they can simply beat you to what God has planned for you. These people are “haters” and God will cause such people to take detours out of your life simply because you are putting your trust in God. I like the saying I heard one Nigerian say which is what I’ll say to you here in this post, and that is to all your haters, they can “sit-down, one-side, to the back” of your life since God will direct your path to a place where you will prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers. Because Jesus is the GPS in your life, He will take you to the roads that will rid you of all the crazy drivers out there that want to give you hell on the road while you are on your journey. Just keep trusting God, Amen!

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

There is a song that is in my spirit right now by Hillsong Worship called Open Heaven (River Wild). You need to surrender to the Holy Spirit in order for God to direct your path, Amen!

I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. 😀

Jesus is My Valentine – A message to the Single from someone who is single

Hi People!

thZLU27RLEHappy Valentines! I must admit, I never really liked Valentines day because 1) I thought it to be a very exclusive day for those that are “couples” leaving all the singles such as myself hanging out to dry watching all these couples be lovey-dovey to each other. I was pretty much disgusted and annoyed by it just to be honest. Yes, I was bitter about it and dreaded it each year frankly speaking, but God showed me something about myself and had to deal with my broken heart concerning this issue. 2) I don’t believe love should be expressed on this one day only. If you really love someone, love should be shown everyday. It’s nice to have a day to celebrate it, but the last time I checked, I believe that Jesus showed us what real love looked like. Jesus is Love so don’t wait for one special day that only happens once a year to express it to your loved ones.

So today, I’m saying that Jesus is my Valentine, not for just today, but for my whole life. I love Jesus and when you think about all that He has done for  you, you realize that love isn’t subject to one day, Jesus is LOVE personified. Love is a person and that person is Jesus. The way you express love to your spouse should be in alignment to God’s personality. Husbands, Love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her, Wives submit to your husband. If your husband loves you in the way that Jesus loves you, women would not have a problem submitting to their husband. The reason why many relationships are in trouble today is because people don’t understand how to love each other as Christ-like as possible.

428538157f78e7e67b13773e38a9dd22Ephesians 5:24-33(NKJV)

24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body,[a] of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”[b] 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

I don’t know if any of you have read The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate is a 1995 book by Gary Chapman.[1] It outlines five ways to express and experience love that Chapman calls “love languages”: gifts, quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service (devotion), and physical touch (intimacy).[2]

dea833f7166c2e1ac5076ce3f484bb39If you think about these 5 ways we express love to one another, we can apply the same thing with the way we express our love and devotion to Christ our Saviour. Personally, my love languages that I identify with the most are quality time, words of affirmation and physical touch (affection). I grew up in a family where my parents and grandparents spent quality time with me, gave me words of affirmation and expressed love with physical affection (hugs and kisses, hand holding etc). The other two love languages acts of service and gifts are secondary for me. My family did show me the other two love languages but I identify strongly with the 3 I have listed above. I love that they worked hard to bring me up and I’m blessed to have received many gifts from them, but I know personally I love the quality of time we’ve spent together laughing, joking around, the embraces I received and the words of affirmation that built my character today. I find that when I go into my own prayer closet, I express my love for God in the very same way. I enjoy being in God’s presence, I enjoy spending quality time with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. I enjoy giving Jesus my affection and words of affirmation. Yes I bring my gifts and acts of service in the church and in my everyday affairs, but I believe that apart from those things, our Lord wants to spend quality time with us.

So if you’re single (just like me), and have dreaded Valentines Day just like the plague like I did because it reminds you of how “lonely” you feel, just remember, that a person cannot fill the void in your heart. Only Jesus can fill those places.

I’ve seen people get together and there’s no love in the relationship. There has been too much squabbling, bickering and complaining that there is literally no affection displayed at all, there are no words of affirmation, virtually no acts of service, nor gifts or quality time spent together because no one wants to set aside their pride to make their relationship work. God showed me that if you don’t know how to love His Son Jesus, then how are you then able to show this love to your family or significant other? As a single person waiting for God’s best in my life, I believe that this is the time where we learn to love people in the way God wants us to. Don’t wait to be in a relationship to express it, learn to love people that are around you right now. When you cultivate these love languages in your life with the current people you have around you, you will see things differently and appreciate what you have. I know what it’s like to feel bitter about being single, and honestly, God showed me that I had serious issues. I’ve read many articles from people who are in successful relationships trying to encourage us “single folk”, but God impressed in my heart, that it’s time a single person encourages single people because I can identify with us experiencing this season in our lives. I hope that what I’ve written here encourages somebody today.

You are not “alone” or as “lonely” as you think you are. God is with you even when you think this whole thing is lasting forever. But believe me when I say, that this is a time for you to maximize on the current relationship you have with the Lord. Cultivate your time to spend more time in the presence of the King. I feel a fulfilment knowing that God is with me even now. My spiritual giftings have increased in that I am now able to interpret peoples dreams (I’m still growing in this area) and prophecy when prompted by the Holy Spirit to do so, I can discern spirits, and I am still growing in the Lord. Despite all this, God says, “Increase in your ability to LOVE my people”. The greatest gift isn’t all these spiritual gifts that I’ve grown in, in God’s eyes, LOVE is still the greatest thing of all. It doesn’t matter how gifted you end up becoming, God strongly emphasizes that you must have LOVE in your heart for His People. God never changed His mind about that.

This is why I learned to shift my focus off of my supposed “loneliness” and cultivated intimacy with the Lord to learn to hear from Him directly. The reason why some of us are deaf to the voice of the Holy Spirit is because we are too self-absorbed in our problems and have not learned to enter into the secret place where the Lord dwells, who seeks intimacy to share His secrets with us.  If you don’t learn to cultivate your relationship with Jesus now, do not assume for one second that you’ll be able to cultivate one with another person here on earth successfully. Do not be deceived. You’ll enter into a relationship rather selfishly since you were already too self-absorbed about your needs and wants, that you’ll never love the other person properly. Learn to Love Jesus and His people and when you cultivate that relationship you’ll be ready to love the other person with a Christ-like attitude.

I’ve come to a place where I’m satisfied of my current status quo. I have learned to ignore those that make fun of my single status at my age, because I believe in God’s perfect timing. I believe that God wants the best for me. Until you get to that place where you trust God fully, you’ll always be miserable and miss out on what’s good around you. I have had the privilege of travelling, and will continue to do that Praise the Lord. I have met so many people, experienced different cultures and now understand that as a single person, you are able to do more in this season. So maximize on what time you have now. The moment you get married, things do change, you will have new responsibilities and people depending on you. It’s a shift of mindset and priorities. It’s also an opportunity to be a blessing to your spouse and your children or future children. But if you aren’t there yet, be a blessing to other people right now, Amen!

34884-The-Joy-Of-The-LordWhen I lost my grandmother, I realised that man…life is short. I’ve come to a place where I appreciate this season of singleness and have learned that you cannot be too self-focused about what you want when you cannot seem to appreciate what’s right in front of you right now. You seriously don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone so don’t regret the opportunity  that you have right now to spend quality time with those that you have around you. Life is short, but it gets shorter when you don’t maximize on what you have right now. Learn to build a heart of gratitude. Being single may seem like hell to you right now as you watch your friends around you in relationships, but that is when you have to learn to love God all the more, Trust God all the more. Believe God all the more. He is the Author and Finisher of your love life. Let God write the script and give Him your paper so that he can author the right relationship for you. However, this means, you must learn to sit at His feet to be able to learn how to hear from God and hear what He says about you.

Rejoice and be merry. Thank God for all the things that He has blessed you with. Find reasons to give God Praise. Stop being bitter. Believe me when I say that it gets you nowhere. You’ll fill yourself up with self-pity and will be blinded by the beauty that is already around you. Learn to cultivate your love for people by learning how Christ loved us and gave His life up for us so that we could do the same and love other people in return in a Christ-like fashion. It doesn’t matter how gifted you are, if you do not have love in your heart for your brother and sister in Christ, then you are but a clanging cymbal…with no sense of harmony in your life. Love has a beautiful sound…don’t end up being a clanging cymbal with a heart of self-entitlement to what the world has to offer you. You are a blessing that is supposed to bless others, so don’t think too highly of yourself and expect to always receive from others when you’ve been called to be a giver just as God gave us His best, He gave us His Son Jesus. Give your best gift of love to others today, AMEN!

REMEMEBER:

1 Corinthians 13(NKJV)

The Greatest Gift

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Therefore, for the singles out there that hate this day, let Jesus be your Valentine today. For those that are already in a relationship, Praise the Lord and allow yourself to love Him and He to love you back in return. Even if you don’t acknowledge Jesus today, He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will love you forever. He will walk with you during the storms of life, He will be there for you when you cry, when you rejoice, when you achieve things. Jesus is your greatest cheerleader. He will cheer for you when you’ve done a job well done. He will make a way for you to prosper. He will always be with you every step of the way. He will walk with you through hell and back. He will be there for you when you need Him. Jesus seeks such a great level of intimacy with Him that this is why I’m making Him my valentine. Love God by Loving His people. I challenge you to show love to those that have not received it today. Say a word of encouragement, hug somebody, spend quality time with people, give gifts to those that have never received one, show kindness and serve one another as Jesus has served you.

True-Worship-Sermon-Title1-570x428There’s this song sung by Fred Hammond that comes to mind for this day. It’s called How I love You. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today.

Happy Valentines Everybody and God bless you. 😀

Seek to be Sought Out and Sought After

Hello Everybody! 🙂

I don’t know why but I just have to say this to somebody today.0f629f72ca356f2d2969a1887910b5ee

Somebody just needs to know today that you’ve got intrinsic value, you have something inside of you that needs to be Sought out and Sought after. That is Christ in You, the hope of Glory.

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Some people are battling self-esteem issues, loneliness, depression, grief, loss, confusion, anger, fear, a series of identity-crises and so on, but this all boils down to the need to understand that YOU have value.

I literally don’t care what others have said about you. You were born with a purpose, you were created to worship the Most High God. You were born to make a difference, you were born to be THE difference that the world needs to see. You are valuable, lovable, precious, sought out and sought after by Jesus Christ himself.

Nothing in this world will change His mind about chasing after you.

So I challenge YOU to start chasing after Jesus right back.

I don’t know what you’re dealing with on a personal basis, but you are sought out and sought after by God. The way Jesus loves us is so out of this world that He literally had to come down to earth Himself just to show us how much He loves us. He loves you and I that much. You are sought out and sought after. In the same way, when you seek Jesus, you will find him. It is up to you to seek Him out.

So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, And I have found you.

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

Jeremiah 29:13

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

I am making this a short post today but I just had to say this to someone and encourage your spirit today…You are Sought out and Sought after. You are not Forsaken, says the Lord.

And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; And you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.

I have this song by Canton Jones called Fill Me Up Again to bless your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

Praise Him in the Pain

Hi Everybody!

I know I already wrote a post for today, but this song is just so uplifting that I had to share it with you all cuz I love all my readers so much 😀 .

It’s from The Afters called Broken Hallelujah. If you feel pain, grief, sorrow or discouragement, that is when you have to praise God anyway. I know that when I lost my Grandmother in 2013, it was hard to stand in choir and sing… I mean, how does one pretend to be happy when your heart is crushed and your whole mind is going crazy because your soul is filled with what seems like unbearable tears and cries that won’t come out? Despite feeling this way, I chose to praise my God anyway. I praised Him in the pain of losing someone who was a mother to me that put up with my crazy probably obnoxious self. That how much my grandmother loved me and now she’s gone with the Lord.

Raise your hands in the pain. I knew that in my brokeness, in my grief, I personally needed God the most so that is why I had to raise my hands. If you are struggling with something, if you are in deep pain, that’s when you’ve got to Praise God even more. I’m not saying it’s easy, but you start to find reasons to give God praise, to thank Him for blessing you with the opportunity to be loved by other people. Some people didn’t have the grandmother that I had, and that’s why I give God praise. She adopted me as her own kid and loved me like as if I was her own child. You are loved by God and when you praise Him, He will give you beauty out of all the ashes. He will embrace you in your pain and give you the oil of joy for your gladness.

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

Saturate yourself in God’s love for you today, Amen. I pray that this song encourages you and blesses your spirit today. God bless you everybody. Love you all :D.

God has to be in it

Hello Everybody!

It’s Day 8 of the 21 day Fast and I’m still going on strong. I just give God Praise.

I remember sitting with a woman in my church a couple of weeks ago talking about her situation of last year where she held a grudge against a co-worker that led her to lose her job just because she couldn’t forgive the person for their malicious lies and gossip about her. She felt so much deep regret over her actions because she did something that caused her to get fired. Her supervisor was initially on her side because they were aware of how that other co-worker was stirring up strife in the workplace until she did something unthinkable; She waited 4 hours to confront the person outside their workplace. She literally sat in the car waiting for this person that was irritating her at work brooding on what she was going to say to get all that anger out and tell this person where to go.

When her coworker finally came out at the end of her shift, this lady went out of her car and approached this woman and spoke her mind out of anger to this person which gave her coworker the ammunition she needed to use that confrontation to get her fired. Her supervisor was aware that the lady she had been having issues with was indeed a liar but the fact that she confronted her outside of their place of work in front of everybody made her look bad in that she was giving the company she worked for a bad image.

Oh my heart went out for her as she relayed her story to me. If she had some good friends around her, they should have stopped her from doing what she did because there is safety in a multitude of wise counselors but I guess she didn’t have anyone to really rely on and relied on her own emotions (might and power) which were obviously unstable and unreliable since she was upset at the constant harassment and conniving behaviour of the other individual. I don’t think she’s the only one that’s made this type of mistake before, however, the reason why I’m sharing this example is so that you understand what I mean about how you confront your battles this year. You cannot afford to approach the same attack from last year in this year the same way again. Learn from every lesson that you learn.

For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

Had she dealt with the issue by learning to:

1) not give into the harassment,

2) have self-control and not lash out in anger,

3) not have her pride get in the way,

3) forgive the person that spitefully used her and mocked her she would not have found herself without a job today.

Despite all that…the story is something that’s in the past. The most important thing is to learn from your mistake. The worst thing is going through something like this and not learning that you were in the wrong. I could see that the whole experience had humbled her to the point of feeling woeful, so I told her that this year is a new year for her to get over that mistake. I encouraged her and said that the old thing has passed away, so look towards the new thing God wants to do with her. I believe that God wants to shift her perspective and reposition her to a better job but the first hurdle is learning from the past to move ahead. Let go and let God. I also believe that she needs to understand she can’t treat the same attack the same way again this year. You’ve got to wisen up and be strategic about the way you deal with people who challenge you and your patience. She has to go to God next time.

King Hezekiah did it when he was confronted by Sennacherib, the King of Assyria who jeered at him and mocked him  in 2 Chronicles 32. Hezekiah knew that he not only had his own pride to think about, he had the weight of the whole nation of Israel at stake. He consulted with his leaders (wise counselors) knowing that Sennacherib was up to something devious (2 Chronicles 32:3). Could he seriously afford to confront the mockery of Sennachrib for the sake of his own pride or was it better to remain quiet, be strategic and take it up with God. Hezekiah chose to go to God first (2 Chronicles 32:20) and that is what I’m saying…Go to God when you know that you have more than just your mere pride at stake. You’ve got other people depending on you and you haven’t got the time to play around with someone testing your patience. Keep real quiet and go into the upper room with God. Your victory is found when you go on your knees. Don’t lift your nose at your enemy, lower your knees before God because that’s where in your victory lies.

It’s better to hold your tongue if you’ve got nothing good to say rather than say things that you can’t take back. Death and life are in the power of our tongue…The tongue is indeed a difficult thing to bridle; however, we have to make an effort to hold it from saying whatever it wants to say. We either bless ourselves or curse ourselves with the words that we speak out of our mouths.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

Despite the loss of last year, I believe this woman will have a testimony this year. It’s not over for her until God says it’s over. I know that I’ve made countless mistakes in my life so in no way will I claim I’m a perfect person. But I will say, that I’m still being perfected through Christ. Don’t beat yourself up over your past…don’t let people remind you of  your yesterdays when God’s plan is to prosper you for your tomorrows. God’s agenda in your life has not changed just because you made a mistake.

 Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Notice how God has many “thoughts” toward you. That just goes to show you how much He thinks about you. He loves you so much that he wants you to live a victorious life. So not even a mistake will change His mind about you. He wants to bless you. So don’t feel discouraged and keep moving forward. The devil has a way of using others to discourage you out of your next place of promotion, elevation, or opportunity to network with the right people, but just remember, When GOD is in your situation, there are no limits, AMEN.

I put this song by Israel Houghton and New Breed called It’s Not Over (When God Is In It) to encourage you today and bless your spirit. God Bless You everybody. Love y’all! 😀

We can do the IMPOSSIBLE

Happy Sunday EVERYBODY!

I just got this awesome song in my spirit right now to uplift you if you’re feeling down about your situation. It’s by Bryan Popin called I Can Make It! I don’t know what it is that you’re facing right now but you need to know that the God inside of you is saying YOU CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE. You have Christ in you the hope of Glory and because He lives inside of you, He will make a way out of no way for you.

Colossians 1:27

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

the-greatest-pleasure-in-life-is-doing-what-people-say-you-cannot-do-life-quoteI believe strongly that God will make Provision for whatever Vision you have for this year. Just go back to Him if you turned away from Him before. He is willing to embrace you again like the father that embraced the prodigal son who ran off doing whatever he wanted, having fun and wasting what was left of his inheritance.

In order for you to do the impossible this year, you have to shift your mindset. You can only be transformed when you start to renew your mind. You have to put away the childish behaviours of yesterday and tap into the meat of God’s Word for this year.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

You cannot afford to be emotional about everything. It’s time to build some back-bone in your spirit. How else can you remain steadfast if you’re always cowering away from every test, obstacle or set back. The reason why we overcome by faith in the first place is because you will face tests, you will face trouble but you have to take heart and know that with Jesus on your side, you can overcome anything that’s in this world.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Yes, disappointments may come, people might let you down, you may even be frustrated by yourself this year….but I repeat, fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your Faith. You will pull through, you will make it. Do not be discouraged, do not be dismayed. There are more for you than there are against you. Understand that you will face an intense spiritual battle this year, so you must guard you heart, guard your mind from negative thoughts, guard your spirit by wearing your armor at all times.

Whether you realize this or not, you are already enlisted to fight in the good fight of FAITH for this year. Don’t act like you aren’t a soldier for Christ by putting your head in the sand. Many people remain weak in the church because they simply don’t want to fight the battle that’s right in front of them. Stop waiting for others to fight your own battles...pick up your sword (The Word of God) and Fight. You cannot imagine the frustration I feel sometimes when I see complacent Christians in the church not wanting to confront injustice, not wanting the challenge the status quo because you’re too afraid of what sister or brother so and so will say about it. God is in the business of restoring righteousness with His people this year…so yes, that means challenging the current status quo. You will have something to contend with. David had to fight Goliath…so church of Jesus Christ, it is an expectation that you will learn to slay some giants this year. Can I get an Amen to that? ….ohhhhh the silence…

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

im-possibleAlso remember, to give God praise for every victory that he gives you, because you know, had it not been for God, where would you have been? Do not forget Him and puff yourself up with PRIDE.
Pride will kill your destiny if you let it take root in your life.
Yes, you can make it, but remember Who brought you to your increase? Who brought you to your promotion?  Who brought you to your elevation? Who blessed you beyond your comprehension?
Don’t miss the boat and choose to remain humble at all times. When God blesses you, don’t forget Him in the process. I can’t stress that enough. People can miss it when they get excited about receiving their breakthroughs…but the true test is what you do after you’ve made it?…Do you stop going to church after that…do you refuse to bring your tithes and offerings to God like you used to? do you stop praying…? are you too awesome that you can’t even lift your hand up to praise Him anymore…? Please don’t miss it when you make it this year.
I will repeat…HUMILITY IS KEY.

Don’t forsake God this year…include Him in all your plans and you will surely be successful in all that you do, AMEN. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody 🙂
