Hi Peeps!
It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. It’s been a busy month for me with so many changes occurring that I’ve need to think about the time I need to write something substantive when I choose to blog. Today, I want to post this song by Evan and Eris called People. I feel like this past week has been a whirlwind of dealing with different kinds of people. Some people are great and some not so great. Some are for you in your life and some are just not out for your best interest. Some people inspire you and give you hope and some are just toxic and pretentious that they end up disappointing you. Despite that being the case, we must remember that we have to let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:3-5).
Psalm 51:12NIV – Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
In this World we will have trouble, but we have to take heart and remember that God has helped us to overcome the world. Meditate on these scriptures in reflection of that:
John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have over come the world.”
1 John 4:4 – You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1 John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
The thing is, just because you are a “Christian” doesn’t mean that you will be devoid of trouble. However, having said that, that doesn’t mean that you can’t overcome the issues of life that you may face when you remember that God is still the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.
Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever
As you listen to this song just remember that no matter what it is that your going through, let God heal your mind, your heart, your emotions if you are facing some kind of adversity in your life right now. Call on the Name of Jesus! Jesus is able to hear our cries and our prayers so don’t put your faith in the wrong place and rely on people who are fallible beings. Rely on a perfect God who is able to turn what was meant for evil in your life and will turn it around for the good of those that love the Lord (Genesis 50:20), Amen!
