Wake Up the Wonder

vain-worship

Hello People!

Did ya miss me? lol just kiddin’😀

I have a part 2 to my previous post regarding God’s PA review, but I won’t share it on here yet until I’ve ministered this message to my church this Friday. I feel like I can’t release the message just yet. You can wait right?:)

I thank the Holy Spirit for giving me a timely message. When I do share it this Friday, I pray that it may minister to somebody’s spirit. I’m in a place where God keeps revealing so many new messages that I need to record everything so that I don’t forget. I welcome questions and will try to answer them to the best of my ability. When God is speaking to you, have a notebook, or tablet or laptop to record these things. Save every detail that you remember so that you can continue to fine tune your ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you the Church.

I entitled this post after Elevation Worship’s cd title Wake Up the Wonder (can you tell I’m still on this Elevation Worship tip…I just love them! lol:) ) because that is the main message. Wake up the wonder inside of you. This is the mystery that needs to be revealed to the World, that you have CHRIST in you, the hope of glory. You are the miracle that you seek, you are the answer to your own problem, and you are the answer that the world seeks. You are a revival starter. It all begins with you, so stop looking around when you should be looking in the mirror and seeing that the answer already arrived, the answer is YOU, Amen!😀

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

So in the mean time I want to post a song by Elevation Worship called The King Among Us.

God is in this Place

worship

Hello People!

I’m just posting a song today sung by Bonnie Deuschle & Celebration Choir called God is in this Place.  I love this song since the choir sings in my Zimbabwean Language “Shona” when they say Mwari vari pano”  which translates to “God is Here”. There’s just something about African praise. I love the drums and so songs with a drum beat make me feel like I can hear the heart-beat of God.

How many of  us just need to know that God is in this place? When we worship, He inhabits in our praise. Can you imagine that you invite the presence of the Holy Spirit simply by just worshiping Him with your mouth or instrument of praise?

King James 2000 Bible
But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.

God is Here when we lift our hands, when we give Him praise. Let us go back to the heart of worship. Worship brings about intimacy and connection with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. That’s why I love the song I posted in my previous post called Heart like Heaven by Hillsongs United. The beat in that song just makes me feel like I can hear God’s heart thumping. There is no measure that knows God’s worth in our lives. God is AWESOME!😀

I don’t know about you, but I cannot do without the presence of God in my life. I draw away from people that suffocate or grieve the Holy Spirit when they’re around me. My spirit is so sensitive that sometimes I cringe at the sound of discord. I’m not talking about someone singing the wrong note (because that can happen), I’m talking about the heart/spirit of the person singing is out of order. If you sing from a place of anger…I cringe. If you sing with arrogance, I cringe. But when someone sings at that place where there’s pure adoration and love in that person’s heart, I rejoice. You can’t pretend worship. It’s either you have a heart that seeks to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, or you’re just a clanging cymbal wanting others to hear you out because you think you’re all that and much more. I just love basking in worship mode. Like I said, I usually get my answers when I’m in that place. God reveals Himself to me in and through Worship. If you want to get closer to God, then seek Him with all your heart. When you seek Him, you will find Him.

So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, And I have found you.

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

John 4:22-24 (NKJV)

22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God bless you everybody!😀

In the Mood for Worship

True-Worship-Sermon-Title1-570x428

Hi People!

I’ve just come back from vacation and feel rejuvenated.😀 I’m in the mood for worship so for those in Canada Happy Family Day y’all! I didn’t expect to come back to -25 degrees…but I’ll praise God anyway. I praise God I’m African and can still enjoy traveling between two hemispheres to have two summers per year. Don’t hate lol😀

Here are some songs to bless your spirit today that have been in my spirit all of last night.

The first one comes from Hillsongs United called Heart Like Heaven. This song has been ministering to my spirit and it’s just awesome in surround sound. Let this song minister to your spirit today.

The Next song is from for King & Country called Shoulders. Sometimes you need to know that God carries you through many challenges. You just need to lean on Him as the answer to your need. This song has been blessing my spirit. I pray that this one also blesses yours.

The Last Song I will post here today is from Newsboys singing We Believe. I just love how Michael Tait sings this song. I truly believe that this song will bless somebody today.

I know that I usually just post one song per post, but right now I don’t want to talk I just want to saturate my spirit with Praise and Worship Songs. Through my travels God has just been showing me things and ministering to my spirit as of late. I feel so light in my spirit that I just want to Praise God more. I actually have more songs I could put on here but I think I’ll keep it to three for now.

It’s so important to give time to worship God. Personally, I find my gift in the prophetic is stimulated in the presence of worship. I hear God more clearly during that time and so I fill my spirit with songs that give honor and praise to God. This is how I meditate. I shut out the noise of my life and sit in His Presence. Fill your spirit with worship and you’ll see things clearly in that presence. Don’t allow distractions. I remember being in a church where I just wanted to sit in the presence of worship and then a sister so and so or brother so and so would just distract me because they want my attention…I would feel really upset about it because “seriously, can’t you see I’m in a different place right now????” well…you get that from some “church people”…forgive them anyway… *sigh*.

The point is, in the presence of Worship, God is there. You need answers from God? Then visit Him in the place of Worship. You can worship Him in your living room, in the church or at work. In fact you can worship Him anywhere. God is limitless. You just have to make time for it. Don’t make excuses, make time for God, Amen.

God bless You everybody!😀

Hope is what we Crave

small_812218ac9c53a99bbe9b8e5f

Hello Everybody!

f551c49317faa4dc520f2a11e9b40ec6There’s this song that I’ve been listening to that’s just awesome. It’s by for King and Country called Hope is what we Crave. I sense in my spirit that there are people out there facing self-condemnation.

In Christ there is no condemnation but redemption. Nothing you have done, thought and/or said can keep you from being forgiven. My challenge for those of you beating yourself up about your past mistakes is to learn to forgive yourself. Forgiveness releases you from depression, bitterness, anger, fear and doubt. Don’t exalt or magnify your mistakes either...it’s very easy to get too caught up in that so rather lean on the redeeming power of Jesus Christ that will embrace you like a father who welcomed back his prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) . BELIEVE you are forgiven and move on. I’m not saying continue to sin…I’m saying, learn to repent and change your heart to be more like the loving Father.

And for those that love pointing fingers at others, make sure that there isn’t one pointing right back at YOU. God is not pleased when we make fun of others for their mistakes or weaknesses. The same measure you judge another person is the same that will be used against you. We must be a people that understand the meaning of Compassion. If you don’t have it, then get it.

Matthew 7 [Full Chapter]

[ Do Not Judge ] “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 (NKJV)

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Romans 8:1

[ Free from Indwelling Sin ] There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Sometimes it’s hard to comprehend to love or should I say the Agape Love of the Father when we are imperfect in our own love. Perfect love casts out fear so learn to abide in the love of the Father.

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

[ Love and Joy Perfected ] “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

There is literally nothing in heaven or earth that can keep you from the Love of God.  You have to be persuaded to believe that though. In order to believe, you must first have Faith that this Love He has for you is unchanging. People may change around you but God’s love never changes towards you. Circumstances may rock you, and you may even fail sometimes, but God’s love will always be there to carry you when you’re down.

Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I don’t believe that when a child is disobedient and does something that upsets their images (1)parents that all of a sudden the parent stops loving them. Good/God-fearing parents never stop loving their children and in the same way, God never stops loving you even if we may upset Him with our disobedience sometimes, His love never changes for you. That’s why it is good news to know that you can be redeemed. A contrite spirit is one that God does not despise so bask in God’s love for you today.

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

I pray that this song encourages you today and blesses your spirit. God bless you everybody😀

Humility will Promote You in your Destiny

hezekiah-reformers-header

Hello Everybody!

My church and I have commenced a 21 Day Fast starting Jan 4, 2016 although I started on the 1st personally and we are on day 5 of the Fast. I shared a message last night with our members still on the topic of King Hezekiah. Listen, if you read my Prayer for 2016 you will have noticed that King Hezekiah started to restore righteousness in the church (temple) with the people of Jerusalem since the previous King Ahaz had made a mess of things by introducing idols into the temple, stopping the practice of people bringing their tithes and offerings into the Storehouse…and the list goes on. The end result of all that mess was that the people suffered desolation and trouble because they denied their worship to the ONE true God.

[ Ahaz Reigns in Judah ] Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not do what was right in the sight of the Lord, as his father David had done.

I remember telling our members that You become what you worship. If you worship a singer (e.g. Michael Jackson)…you’ll imitate his mannerisms, dance style, clothing style etc to the point that you’ll look exactly like him…I’m using him as an example because I’ve seen fans…and then I’ve seen FANS…..extreme fans that is. I’m not saying that it’s wrong to like someone’s abilities…but don’t make them your god. There is a fine line between mere admiration and worship. Don’t cross the line. If you worship Jesus, in the same way, you will become like Him in your mannerisms, speech, and appearance. Choose today whom you’ll serve/worship because this year has a strong correlation to worship. What you worship in this year will determine the way you end your year (if you make it that is). I know what I’m saying might not seem cosy for your heart right now…but I feel led to address some stuff that are pretty much black and white with no gray areas for you to feel doubt about what I’m saying.

God is interested in RIGHTEOUSNESS being restored this year and it all begins with YOU.music_temple

King Hezekiah started the first Month of the year with cleaning out the temple with the help of the Levites and the priests. The Levites ended up being more sanctified than the priests and ended up taking up tasks that should have been the job of the Priests but because they had not finished going through that process of purification and sanctification, the Levites who were always in a state of sanctification started to take on more work to clean God’s house. You can read all about it in 2 Chronicles Chapters 29-31 for yourself. If you are a worshiper, this is the level in which we as Christians should reach. Consecration is what God is seeking from us this year…to be in right-standing. In no way am I saying that this is an easy task…but the truth of the matter is…we need to go back to that place where churches start talking about the importance of HOLINESS again. I don’t know why the message of Holiness has been silenced, but as a person hearing the heart-beat of God, I know this is what He wants restored for the year 2016 with His People. If you want Jesus to be your God, then you have to want to be His people.

Anyway, back to the message I spoke last night: Hezekiah did all he could to set the people of Jerusalem back on the right path by restoring the foundation of righteousness and faith that was broken among the people because of the mess left by the previous King Ahaz. He (Hezekiah) as a leader made GOD important to the nation by putting Him First and because he did that, King Hezekiah prospered in all that He did and had the Lord’s attention.

2 Chronicles 31:20 – 20 Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. 21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.

In this year you will face a fierce battle if your agenda is to restore righteousness in your life and in the life of the church.

This message isn’t intended to make you feel fear, because fear is not of God, but what God showed me through the passage below that I have pasted From 2 Chronicles chapter 32 is that the King of Assyria is like a person who comes out to mock you, harass you, threaten you, undermine you and what you stand for. Such a person will even boast of how they stole your opportunities, stole your house, car, wife, husband, children or any blessing  you had in your life because they are filled with so much pride and arrogance simply because they are ruthless and they don’t care what they do to get ahead of you in life.

The devil doesn’t play around people… so WAKE UP!

You cannot afford to be complacent this year…you have to learn to FIGHT the good fight of FAITH.

If you purpose in your heart to go back to that place where you humble yourself before God, you will be victorious in the battles that you face.

REMEMBER: HUMILITY IS POWER UNDER SELF-CONTROL. It is the place you set yourself aside (even when you don’t have to) and allow God to step in. The question is, how many people do that these days??????? It’s the question of the day I tell you.

The fight this year isn’t going to be won by your own might or power…your intellect alone isn’t sufficient to deal with what’s coming, but I’m here to tell you that in this battle there is a method that will assure your victory. That method is called HUMILITY and WISDOM.  You cannot afford to react to the same attacks you experienced from the past in this year. You have to develop SELF-CONTROL.   Let’s read this scripture:

2 Chronicles 32 (NKJV)

Sennacherib Boasts Against the Lord

32 After these deeds of faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered Judah; he encamped against the fortified cities, thinking to win them over to himself. 2 And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib had come, and that his purpose was to make war against Jerusalem, 3 he consulted with his leaders and commanders[a] to stop the water from the springs which were outside the city; and they helped him. 4 Thus many people gathered together who stopped all the springs and the brook that ran through the land, saying, “Why should the kings[b] of Assyria come and find much water?” 5 And he strengthened himself, built up all the wall that was broken, raised it up to the towers, and built another wall outside; also he repaired the Millo[c] in the City of David, and made weapons and shields in abundance. 6 Then he set military captains over the people, gathered them together to him in the open square of the city gate, and gave them encouragement, saying, 7 Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is  with him; for there are more with us than with him. 8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

9 After this Sennacherib king of Assyria sent his servants to Jerusalem (but he and all the forces quote___humility_by_takaonguitars-d5qpfrawith him laid siege against Lachish), to Hezekiah king of Judah, and to all Judah who were in Jerusalem, saying, 10 “Thus says Sennacherib king of Assyria: ‘In what do you trust, that you remain under siege in Jerusalem? 11 Does not Hezekiah persuade you to give yourselves over to die by famine and by thirst, saying, “The Lord our God will deliver us from the hand of the king of Assyria”? 12 Has not the same Hezekiah taken away His high places and His altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, “You shall worship before one altar and burn incense on it”? 13 Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of other lands? Were the gods of the nations of those lands in any way able to deliver their lands out of my hand? 14 Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed that could deliver his people from my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you from my hand? 15 Now therefore, do not let Hezekiah deceive you or persuade you like this, and do not believe him; for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people from my hand or the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you from my hand?’”

16 Furthermore, his servants spoke against the Lord God and against His servant Hezekiah.

[The King of Assyria was being such a bully here that he had to bring a gang to harass Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem]

17 He also wrote letters to revile the Lord God of Israel, and to speak against Him, saying, “As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people from my hand, so the God of Hezekiah will not deliver His people from my hand.” 18 Then they called out with a loud voice in Hebrew[d] to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to frighten them and trouble them, that they might take the city. 19 And they spoke against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth—the work of men’s hands.

[The fact that he even had to write letters tells me that people might even email you, text you and harass you in this method as well]

Sennacherib’s Defeat and Death

20Now because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, prayed and cried out to heaven.

[Hezekiah did the right thing…he humbled himself before God and prayed. The truth is, he could have responded to the King of Assyria in violence, but he knew that the battle was too great for him to rely on his own might and power, he needed the spirit of God to help him with this battle. His humility is what produced a victorious outcome for Him and the people of Jerusalem]

21 Then the Lord sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor, leader, and captain in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned shamefaced to his own land. And when he had gone into the temple of his god, some of his own offspring struck him down with the sword there.

[The end for the King of Assyria was SHAME and DEATH. God struck every leader what was in cahoots with the King of Assyria leaving him powerless to the point that he returned back home in shame and his own children who are his own relatives are what killed him. It just goes to show that PRIDE goes before a fall, and a haughty spirit before destruction. HUMILITY IS KEY]

22 Thus the Lord saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and guided them[e] on every side. 23 And many brought gifts to the Lord at Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations thereafter.

The humility King Hezekiah demonstrated in this attack is based on the kind of relationship he had with the Lord his God. God wants us to have this level if humility this year so that when you do face a crisis or a series of crises, you will have a strong head on your shoulder to seek His face to help you win the battle that you face. You cannot rely on previous methods with the types of attacks that may come in your life this year. LEARN TO LEAN ON JESUS.

 Matthew 23:12

And whoever exalts himself will behumbled, and he who humbles himself will beexalted.

Points the remember:

  • People will/may harass you during this year – they will poke fun at your faith and mock armor-god1
    your God
. They might even write about you to their supervisors to tempt you to strike back in anger. Your role is to not give in to the harassment. Have self-control and know where you stand.
  • People will threaten to steal your blessings but you shall not be moved
  • People will try to shame you but God will put them to shame
  • People will try to attack you using various methods but God will rescue you and protect you and your household
  • People will try to steal from you but God will help you recover all
  • People will exalt themselves before you but God will humble them in your presence by preparing a table before your enemies.
  • When God gives you victory because you decided to fight the good fight of faith in what you believe in and remained humble, you will be exalted and you will be promoted

God wants to do New things with us this year but you have to be open to instruction, love mercy, act justly and pursue wisdom.

You cannot afford to react the same way to the same attack in the year 2016.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, allthings have become new.

Promotion requires WISDOMed7a00378576c9b492ca240a105f3540

Proverbs 4:7-9 (NKJV)

7 Wisdom is the principal thing;

Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she will promote you;
She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.
9 She will place on your head an ornament of grace;
A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”

James 4:6

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

Here is a song from Kevin Levar and One Sound called Destiny. May this song bless your spirit everybody! Love ya :D

Worship: Send the Rain

Hi Everybody!

I just love this song right about now by William McDowell. It’s called Send the Rain. It isn’t easy to wait on the Lord but as it says in the Bible, those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength and shall mount up like Eagles. You will not be weary so keep on praying, keep on sowing and keep crying for Heaven to Send the Rain. It’s easy to give up when things are rough, but the only way to renew your strength is by waiting on the Lord. Waiting is never easy for waiting in and of itself is a test of endurance. Endurance requires faith and those that wait shall be blessed of the Lord.

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

[ God Will Be Gracious ] Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.

May this song bless your spirit today just as it has mine.😀

Worship Sunday – Let the Holy Spirit Flow

Hi Everybody!

I hope you are having a blessed Sunday. My church and I have just finished the 21-Day Daniel Fast and we just have to give God praise. I have a song here that has been in my spirit from Jessica Reedy called “Flow”. It’s such a great song and I know it will bless  your spirit today. Sometimes I find that in different churches we get alot of teaching and preaching but when it comes time to minister, we get so caught up in church formalities that we simply just don’t allow the Holy Spirit to take over the service and watch Him move. This year, let us not quench the working power of the Holy Spirit and repent of the times we were stubborn and not listening to this amazing Helper that the Lord Jesus sent us. Let us work with the Holy Spirit rather than work against Him. Your miracles and answers are from Him anyway, so why quench the voice that seeks to deliver you in the first place. Allow this day for the Holy Spirit to move you, guide you and lead you to where God wants you to go. Obey the Holy Spirit this year, for when you put your trust in the Helper, He will lead you in the right direction.

John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

May this song bless your spirit today, Amen!:)
