Jesus is “The Unconditional”

Hello everybody,

This is day 6 of my 21 day prayer and fasting and there have been amazing things happening with just the first 3 days. Rather than that, there has been something that’s been on my heart for quite some time and I’ve been wondering how I should even talk about this but I’m just going to go ahead and go there with my thoughts.

3b6bb8319b5c5202ff9913785489d1b4I’ve been meditating on the unconditional love of God. Many people are hurting because what’s out there isn’t genuine, it’s conditional. How can we be open if people only like the so-called “good” parts of us but when you come out with the worst side of yourselves, people begin to shun you. It’s as if you aren’t even allowed to have a bad day. I confess, there are times when I cuss out…yes, there have been times that I was soo upset that I set aside my “christian” self and went on a flesh rampage and cussed out to relieve stress. I’m not condoning what I’ve done, I’m just gonna be real with you about it. I’m a Christian who has cussed when having a bad day… Yes…have self-control (I know that already in my head…but let’s be honest here…sometimes I fall – there I said it).

The truth is, before I was saved, I had issues with cussing. I remember reading an email I had sent to someone after 2 years of being saved and noticed how many cuss words were in that email…I was ashamed to find that I had such a potty mouth. Although I no longer cuss out like I did before I was saved, it doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been an ongoing struggle. I am saved and I am still being saved by the grace of God as I fight and war with my flesh and hold onto what is good, what is worthy of note what is of good report. I’m a Christian, but I’m also human….I’m not handing out an excuse…I’m handing out a REALITY my friends.

How is it that I can go to church one moment and cuss out the next moment…listen…I’m not superhuman, I’m just me…I’m just a broken vessel needing Jesus, my Savior. Although I don’t cuss as much, I do relapse when I get complacent. Yes, there are times when I say things without thinking and I praise God that my heart is sensitive enough to feel grief and conviction to know when I’ve done something that hasn’t pleased God. I think the most scariest place to be in the world is when you no longer feel that conviction of the Holy Spirit. The moment you no longer feel that conviction from the Holy Spirit is when your conscience has become seared to no longer hear nor feel the heart beat of Jesus.

It’s amazing how many people I encounter with such self-righteousness that they throw stones so easily at others who are their brothers and sisters that they don’t take the time to do some self-inventory and see the planks that exist in their own eyes. Sometimes I think God looks at us and shakes His head….

Matthew 7:1-3 (NKJV)

Do Not Judge

7 “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

I’m not saying that it’s ok to cuss or anything, that’s my own weakness that I’m still dealing with, but what I’m getting at is when can Christians be real and judge not so easily about the weaknesses of other and operate at a level of Godly CompassionI don’t care if you’re shocked with my weaknesses…because I’d rather be in a place where I am able to confess my weaknesses before God rather than be a closet Christian pretending to act like “I’m ok”. There are days when I’m not ok and I cry, and I seek God’s face and wonder…why am I like this…how did I get here…why is it so hard to be Christian?

The problem isn’t with the message of Christ, it’s with the actions of other Christians.

1 Samuel 24:12

Let the Lord judge between you and me, and let the Lord avenge me on you. But my hand shall not be against you.

We lack that element of the unconditional love of God in our heart.
Remember that saying that goes: “People don’t care how much you know, they want to know how much you care”.

87aa9e8e14cff8917027311443874211We need to practice unconditional love. I’ve been around different walks of life both young and old and have traveled and lived in various countries by the grace of God that I can truly see the beauty of God through all these different types of people. We were all born unique and it is in that uniqueness that we have to learn to embrace our differences since we are all part of the same body but all performing a different function.
Lately, I feel that God wants us as people to remember that when He gave us His Son Jesus…it was because of that unconditional love that He has for you. He died for you…He died for the murderer, slanderer, adulterer, the gay the lesbian, the confused, the angry, the lonely, the seemingly unlovable, the psychotic, etc, the point is Jesus died for everyone without discriminating on whatever weakness you had.

The truth is, God’s love is so amazing that it’s truly hard to comprehend and yet so easy to understand because it’s simple, God is Love personified. His name is Jesus and yes, He is The Unconditional Love that we all need.

6cc2d944f6cfb62b30e00d1fae1f8ca5Men may judge you easily because we are imperfect beings, but through Christ we become perfected. You are not too far gone that God’s love can’t reach you.  Jesus’ hand is always extended to lift you up whenever you are down. God loves you. Christians and other people in this world are simply human, and imperfect humans usually display an imperfect love towards others. It’s because unconditional love was authored by God Himself. Jesus became a live demonstration of God’s love so that we could understand that it is possible to love others unconditionally. The struggle is real, but my emphasis in this post is understand that the Unconditional is part of your identity as a Christian. If you are partial in your love, then you need to seek God’s face to help you build up this level of Godly love to demonstrate to others. Tt doesn’t mean that there won’t be people that challenge your ability to love them, however, you must learn to ask God to increase your ability to love the unlovable. God is real and He loves you.

I know I could preach all day long on this, but this was was in my heart after I read a post of a person who abandoned the faith just because of what he saw other Christians do. It’s sad… I don’t blame people who walk away from the faith…the truth is, they probably haven’t walked away from Christ in their hearts because they know how Christ loves them. However, it most likely may be that they have simply walked away from other Christians because of how they practiced their conditional love.

Jesus understands you and wants you to know, that He will always love you. People may fail you, but God will never leave you or forsake you because He is the Unconditional.

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

This song is something that I’ve been playing for the past few days. It’s by Hillsongs UNITED called Even When it Hurts (Praise Song).  I will praise God even when it hurts because I love Him. Do you? God Bless you everybody! :D

A Beautiful Exchange

Hi Everybody,

I can’t even begin to apologize for the hiatus on my blog. So much has been happening to me since my Grandmother passed away in 2013. I found it really difficult to write but  I want to start back again.

First I just want to give God praise. It’s been a difficult couple of years but with God all things are possible. I’ve been on an emotional roller-coaster ride and have needed to be alone to really hear what the Holy Spirit has been speaking into my spirit. I saturate myself with praise songs and one song that has been playing in my heart right now is called A Beautiful Exchange by Hillsongs.

I’m heading into a 21 day prayer and fast for the month of November. You are free to join me because in this month, my church and I will be dealing with the strongman of UNBELIEF.

The focus of this Strongman is found in Hebrews 3

Hebrews 3 (NKJV)

The Son Was Faithful

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.[a]

Be Faithful

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,
And they have not known My ways.’
11 So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest.’”[b]

12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called“Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15 while it is said:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”[c]

Failure of the Wilderness Wanderers

16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? 17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

I have bolded parts of the scripture for emphasis. We are God’s house and if anything, we must build on a strong foundation called FAITH. Can you imagine that a generation was killed off in the desert that they wondered around for 40 years because they harbored the spirit of unbelief which is what God characterizes as something that can be found in an “evil heart” in verse 12.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Unbelief causes you to abandon God and what God has said about you. Whatever you confess out of your mouth is a direct exposure of what is in your heart. If you harbour doubt in your spirit, you are struggling with unbelief. I know that there are areas in my life that I struggle in my faith, but that is why God emphasizes that we should fight the good fight of faith because he know that the Devil isn’t after your money, your possessions or your life…he is after your faith. The moment you abandon your faith, your life becomes forfeit.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
I would like to expand on this because I ministered on this subject yesterday at church, but I just want you all to understand that All things are possible to those that BELIEVE. If you want to travel in that realm of faith, you have to build yourself up in Faith. Faith isn’t instant, you have to build it over time and that is why we must grow from Faith to Faith because the faith of yesterday may not be sufficient for your tomorrows. You need to have faith for tomorrow. This is why God emphasizes that the church He builds isn’t a physical structure that many people build in vain….it is YOU. You are the church that He is building, because His House is known to be a House of Prayer. I have never seen an actual building kneel down and pray, have you? Only people can kneel down an pray.
Don’t get too caught up in church building projects if the people who are part of that building have a weak foundation of faith.
Seriously, what good is a building if people aren’t strong in their Faith?
I and a few friends of mine, have started to build a church starting last April 2014. Let me tell you that it has been a battle. Some people come, some people go…but those that remain faithful to the vision are not easily swayed nor discouraged because we know that the most important building that God cares about building are His people.
We started in a hotel, and then the hotel refused to give us a place to hold services and then we ended up in my pastors apartment until we believed God for a building. We moved in to the building last Christmas and we had people join and had people leave taking most of our members to build their own thing.
Let me tell you, the devil doesn’t care if we have a church, he just wants to know, are you a Believing church? So we are now heading into a 21 day prayer and fasting for the month of November, seeking God’s face for direction. You are free to join me if you want.
I’ll continue to bring updates in the future. Stay blessed everybody! :D

Worship: Send the Rain

Hi Everybody!

I just love this song right about now by William McDowell. It’s called Send the Rain. It isn’t easy to wait on the Lord but as it says in the Bible, those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength and shall mount up like Eagles. You will not be weary so keep on praying, keep on sowing and keep crying for Heaven to Send the Rain. It’s easy to give up when things are rough, but the only way to renew your strength is by waiting on the Lord. Waiting is never easy for waiting in and of itself is a test of endurance. Endurance requires faith and those that wait shall be blessed of the Lord.

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

[ God Will Be Gracious ] Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.

May this song bless your spirit today just as it has mine. :D

Worship Sunday – Let the Holy Spirit Flow

Hi Everybody!

I hope you are having a blessed Sunday. My church and I have just finished the 21-Day Daniel Fast and we just have to give God praise. I have a song here that has been in my spirit from Jessica Reedy called “Flow”. It’s such a great song and I know it will bless  your spirit today. Sometimes I find that in different churches we get alot of teaching and preaching but when it comes time to minister, we get so caught up in church formalities that we simply just don’t allow the Holy Spirit to take over the service and watch Him move. This year, let us not quench the working power of the Holy Spirit and repent of the times we were stubborn and not listening to this amazing Helper that the Lord Jesus sent us. Let us work with the Holy Spirit rather than work against Him. Your miracles and answers are from Him anyway, so why quench the voice that seeks to deliver you in the first place. Allow this day for the Holy Spirit to move you, guide you and lead you to where God wants you to go. Obey the Holy Spirit this year, for when you put your trust in the Helper, He will lead you in the right direction.

John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

May this song bless your spirit today, Amen! :)

I’m Expecting A Move of God

glory-to-god (1)

Hi Everybody!

I just wanted to give you an update on the situation with one of our band members called Richie. He came back!!!!!!!!!! YAY! His family finally approved him playing in our band! HALLELUJAH! Thank you people for the prayers :D . Prayer changes things, I believe this. Especially when you pray expecting that God will answer.

Today, I feel led to say something that may sound ridiculous, but God has been showing me that it’s time as Christians to pray differently. I must admit that I’ve been a bit lazy to command my mornings for the past few months, but I started to get back into it last week and have found that each time I have, My days would run smoothly, or I would receive new revelation of God’s Word during the 3:00 am – 6:00 am watch.

I believe God wants me to share what I’ve learned during my conversations with Him here on this blog. So here goes…

It is time to pray from our positions and not by our conditions.  What do I mean by this? God wants us to pray differently. We keep asking for stuff in our prayers, but we don’t act like we have enough faith to receive what we have requested.  We know that faith can move mountains based on the Word itself, but when it comes down to the actual practice of faith, Christians are lacking…in fact, God has shown me areas that I still lack faith. It’s a humbling thing to know that we have so much more to work on if we want to be stronger, wiser, vigilant and effective in Christ.

God showed me during these times that we Christians pray in one of two forms:

1. We either pray with a “lack of knowledge”, or;

2. We pray with “knowledge”.

If we pray with a “lack of Knowledge” then what we retain from that prayer is LACK. Likewise, in the same way, if we pray with “Knowledge”, what we retain from that prayer is “Knowledge”.

Think about it. It says in the Word of God that:

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Rejecting Knowledge causes us to be disqualified from achieving our positions as “Joint-heirs” with Jesus Christ. When God showed this to me, it sobered me up really quickly that I had to analyze in what way have I been praying? I had to repent of my faithless prayers and have decided to work on praying more effectively for the purpose of representing God properly. I know that many times I have prayed to God knowing what He can do and knowing who I was in Christ that I have achieved results, but at the same time, I recognize times when I prayed and did not achieve results because I was not praying by POSITION, I was praying subdued by my CONDITION. I allowed my circumstances to take precedence over my ability to speak by faith and not go by what I saw, thought or feel. I had many times that I encountered doubt entering into my head that I no longer spoke the language of FAITH, I spoke a foreign language to God called DOUBT.
Yes, Faith is a heavenly language  that God responds to and in the same way Doubt is a demonic language that refuses to acknowledge God as sovereign which is what the Devil responds to. Scary thought huh?
Expectations1200X850It is interesting isn’t it, how we falter in our faith by putting more emphasis on our conditions rather than speaking about our positions in Christ. Christ has shown us that we are the HEAD and not the TAIL, Above only and never Beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13), and yet we forget the Word that God has spoken to us simply because we are either, Apathetic, Ignorant (Don’t read or know the Word and what it says about us) or just don’t understand who we are in Christ.
So today, I believe God wants us to incline our ears to Wisdom and actually pursue to understand that we must pray differently. We must pray by our POSITION and not by our Condition. The Centurion understood this principle. He respected Jesus’ authority that did not require Jesus to visit his sick servant. All he needed was for Him to speak and it was so (Matthew 8:8). The woman with the issue of blood understood this…all she needed was to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment and that faith brought her healing (Matthew 9:20)…
What I’m trying to say is that, God is saying we have the power to pull miracles from Him because His riches and glory is sufficient to meet all our needs.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
But if we cannot simply understand this simple fact, we will always pray prayers that will retain LACK because we don’t have knowledge of Who God is to us and what and who we are to GOD. So as God has challenged me, I also challenge you to pray WITH KNOWLEDGE. Do you know that by His stripes you are HEALED today? (Isaiah 53:51 Peter 2:24).
impressing God last
Do you know that when you call on the Name of Jesus, He hears?
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
If you don’t know….then it’s time for you to buck up and get knowledge…Look back into the WORD and find the answer…seek and you shall find what you are looking for.
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
[ Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking ] “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
If you lack something today, then it just means that you need to search for Knowledge and wisdom. The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.
I declare and decree from my POSITION and not by my CONDITION, that this Month of September is going to be a “month of Birthings”. New things are going to happen this month that have never happened before. You will start new projects and the end results will bear great fruit. You will change your associations this month. You will be heading into a new direction. Prayers will be answered this month. God is doing a new thing and I am expecting a move of GOD. What are you expecting for this month?
Listen to this song by William McDowell called Expecting. Let this song bless your spirit today. God Bless you everybody! :)

Ignite My Fire for New Beginnings this Month

Hi Everybody!

I know that it’s been a while since I’ve written on my Blog. I mean it’s been a while since I’ve written anything substantive, but I just want to let you know that I’m still alive and well :).

I want to declare and decree to you that this month of August is a month of New Beginnings.

August is the 8th month of the year and number 8 in biblical numerology is always associated with NEW BEGINNINGS! HALLELUJAH! :D

REJOICE!!!!! because this is also a month that I believe you will receive answered prayers. The important key factor about receiving something is your EXPECTATION level. What are you Expecting from God? Some people pray and give up along the way, but I want to encourage you in this season NOT TO GIVE UP. Keep pressing through for your breakthrough.

Another thing I want to point out is that blessings don’t just fall from the sky and onto your lap… My friends, you have to ACT, you have to MOVE by faith (be practical) to obtain the promises of God. Passivity does not bring bread and butter to the table. You have to GO OUT and make it happen. I’m not here to give you a fluffy feel-good about yourself kind of message. You will have to learn what it means to endure and press through and face trials and tribulations by remaining steadfast and vigilant. As the old sayings go, No Pain, No Gain, No Guts, No Glory…

Laziness is a vice to your advancement in the Kingdom of God. So Go out there and get with the program.

If you are not prepared to face battles in your mind right now….then you are destined to fail. OUCH Sherline, Where’s the encouragement woman!!!!!! (I’m sorry, did I just smack you with the truth?) tsk tsk tsk.

WAKE UP and FACE REALITY! You must aim to get stronger if you are weak right now. Train yourself, seek knowledge, pursue wisdom, for wisdom will carry you to greater heights.

Build emotional strength and wisdom to confront each battle with the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Gird yourself up with the full armor of God and choose to not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge God and He will direct your path… (Proverbs 3:6) God will make your path straight when you are led by His Spirit, so seek God first in all that you do. You aren’t that bright all by yourself.

I’ve been learning on my journey that people who are short sighted only see where you are right now, but they don’t know where God is taking you when you are following Him. Do not be distracted by the naysayers and the ones who don’t have the same revelation of God that you have. Criticism is really a sign of insecurity to the one who gives criticism aimed to cut down and tear down at others so that they can feel better about themselves. You have no time to trifle with such people. Shake the criticism and the discouragement off and keep your head high and focus on the goal.

You must remain focused so that you obtain your promises from the Lord. Critics are those walking around for 40 years in a desert not seeing a way out… You will notice that nothing around them changes so you must be like Caleb and say “enough is enough! I’m walking towards the promised land!”  This is how you should go about your everyday business.

Choose your battles wisely because sometimes you’ll get caught up in fruitless arguments that also pose as a distraction. Let me tell you, You have no time for that in this season. Remain focused, be vigilant, don’t be passive and remain ACTIVE. Your pursuit of happiness is determined on how you conquer minor and major giants that you face in your daily life. Seek wisdom from the Lord if you lack it. The Lord will not withhold any Good thing from you.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

The Lord has been impressing upon my heart to tell the people I want them to focus on the Deuteronomy 28 Blessings. So what I’m going to do is paste this scripture here on this blog and you are going to pronounce these blessings over your household and your family in this month of August. Great things are coming to your address!

Deuteronomy 28: 1-14(NKJV)

Blessings on Obedience

28 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:

“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

“The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. 10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. 14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Here is a song that is in my Spirit lately by William Murphy called Ignite My Fire. May this Song Bless your Spirit Today. God Bless you everybody! :D

Worship Sunday: Chosen by You

Hi Everybody!

This song really ministered to my spirit today. So far evangelism has been an interesting thing for me to be doing as of late. I give glory to God for every opportunity to share my faith with others. It’s been a miraculous journey where it’s coming to a point where I’ve had the opportunity to speak words of Knowledge to people  or God has allowed me to speak directly to the issue towards people I encounter by prophecying and they ask me “How did you know that???”… Two words “HOLY SPIRIT”.  It isn’t by might nor by power, it’s by God’s Spirit.

God gave us the ability to speak into the atmosphere and see things change not only in just our lives, but in the lives of others. The Church shouldn’t simply wait on a pastor to preach a word when it’s time to fulfill the great commission. Bench warming isn’t saving anybody…and you can’t expect the pastor to do everything for you. It’s amazing how people refuse to pray for themselves and for others, but are readily accepting to receive the prayers of others on their behalf. When we die…God isn’t going to ask you how many times you attended church, He’s going to ask you what you learned and what did you put into practice.  There is a difference in learning like a scholar and practicing what you’ve learned. Schools teach you the foundations to deal with everyday life…if you prefer being in school all your life, you will never put what you have learned into practice which makes you a useless student. Don’t be complacent and get with the program. Wake up and be the change that you wish to see.  Faith without works is dead… so God is challenging us to question where we are right now and is asking us…where are your works Church of Jesus Christ?

I refuse to be someone who has no impact. Are you satisfied with your Christianity?

You can’t have 50 churches big or small in the same vicinity and yet have no impact. Obviously, something is wrong if gun violence is prevalent and youth are getting in trouble with the law. We must be influencers of change…but if we do not change our bench-warming statuses soon, we will become mere buildings as reference points of mediocrity and no one will perceive us as the answer.

In order for the Church to be the answer, we have to do one thing….STEP OUT so that GOD STEPS IN. Can I get an AMEN????

Let us not be wrapped up in just retaining biblical information, and work on using it for transformation. Isn’t that what we are all meant to do in the long run?

Listen to this song by Kevin Downswell called Chosen. May it bless your spirit today. God Bless you everybody! :D
