God Only Knows…

Hello Peeps!

I know I haven’t posted much lately. I must say being back in the workforce has me remembering the need to sleep early just to get up and go to work the next morning. I am so looking forward to my long weekend right about now 🙂 . Today, I heard this song by for King & Country called God Only Knows. I feel like this song is my jam right about now. I feel that it’ll minister to you today. Sometimes when you think no one else understands you, just remember that God is the One who is able to understand you better than anyone else.

I get the feeling that people are entering into a transitional period of their lives as we hit the end of the third quarter of this year. Some of you are probably noticing the signs that something is causing you to feel the need to shift into something different, or probably to close a door that needs to be shut closed, whether it be a wrong opportunity, a dead-end relationship, or even if it were to move into another destination, be it local or international in scope. The signs are everywhere for you to make a decision but some people may refuse to acknowledge the signs that it’s time for you to make a change. You can only embrace something new if you’re willing to let go of what is past and in the past. You can’t bring old baggage to a new destination, so assess what is holding you back from moving forward when opportunities are knocking at our door right now. Can you recognize these doors of opportunities that God is opening up in your life right now? If you can’t, then pray about it.

Something is telling you to make a move but you keep sitting on the fence about your decisions. There’s nothing worse than being indecisive about what you want to do and where you want to go in your life. If you ever feel like you have no idea where you ought to go…this is where prayer becomes effective. Pray to God to give you direction as to where you ought to go. Various people in your life can offer you advice…but at the end of the day, you have to trust in the leading of the Holy Spirit even when what you feel led to do doesn’t make any sense to others. Think of Noah and the Ark story… He was told to build something that hadn’t been made before in order to save many lives to a flood that hadn’t happened before. But rather than listening to the ridicule and mockery at those that poked fun at him, Noah chose to trust in God’s leading and the result of his faith was that he was able to save not only all the animals, but those that believed in what he was doing which included his family.

I believe that some people will be asked to do something that doesn’t make sense to them by the Holy Spirit’s leading. My advice to anyone reading this, is to always do what the Lord lead’s you to do even when it doesn’t make sense to others. The Holy Spirit has many ways to inspire someone to act in faith; the question is, will you trust in the Lord’s leading when asked to do something that hasn’t been done before? What is the measure of your faith? You have to work on increasing it so that you can be able to do what seems impossible to others; God will make it possible for you who believes.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I pray that as you listen to this song, be encouraged to believe that God already knows what you are capable of achieving. It’s up to us to believe we can do ALL things through Christ who give us strength, Amen! I pray that this song blesses you today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

  1. Amen, Sister! You don’t know how you just ministered to me and my situation. I’m moving to another state, date set for September 17th. I too, was in a state of indecisiveness. Wondering if this was God’s will for my life. I prayed, fasted, meditated until it was clear what He wanted me to do. So thank you for allowing Him to place this read in your spirit to do, and you be obedient to do so. This confirms to me that I’m right where He wants me!

    • I’m glad that you’re putting your trust in God in your situation. This is how we learn to walk by faith and not by what tries to distract us from pursuing a specific course of action that could lead us to our destiny. God bless and thanks for stopping by. 😊
