O Come to the Altar of Forgiveness

Hello Peeps!

Funny Eve 1

Stop beating yourself up over your mistakes and learn to forgive yourself.

I just wanted to post this awesome song by Elevation Worship called O Come to the Altar. Sometimes people beat themselves up over the past mistakes that they have made; however, God will not despise a person who comes before Him with a broken and contrite spirit. Rather than dwelling on your past mistakes in a place filled with self-condemnation, learn to humble yourself and come before God and confess your (sins) and your mistakes so that you can be in right-standing again. Do not allow your regrets to steer you away from the open arms of Jesus’ forgiveness for your soul. The Lord is near you when you have a broken heart and a contrite spirit, so learn to walk into the arms of God’s forgiveness for you today and turn away from the things that led you to that place of self-condemnation, Amen! I pray that this song by Elevation Worship blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have contrite spirit.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the Lord. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.
