Prayer for 2016 – The Year of Divine Restoration and Order

Hello everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I’ve decided to write up a prayer for the New Year of 2016 so that we start it off right. I was praying and this is the message that I was revealed to which I want to share with you all.

This year is a year where there will be Divine Restoration and Order. This means we have to do something right in order for these things to take place. WORSHIP will have a huge part to play this year. Whatever you put first in your life is based on what you worship. Restoration will only come if your worship is in the right place. If what you worship isn’t God-centered, then something in your life is out of order. This means you have to seriously think about setting yourself apart for what God wants to do in your life. You have to pursue HIM FIRST in ALL THINGS! You have to decide for yourself to be sanctified. When you make this decision, you will start to see things being restored in your life this year. All those things that were missing and broken, God will start to divinely restore these things once you place HIM FIRST this year. I know personally that I’m going to do a 21 Day Fast to get this year started right. I totally recommend for all of you to participate, however, this is a personal decision you have to make of your own. How you begin this year is how you will want to end it. I want to begin the Year with God and end it with God. There is so much that I require from Him so I don’t know about you, but I know I need more of God in my life more than ever before.  Never stop pursuing him no matter where you find yourself. Let me just say that your past mistakes mean nothing at this point…you can start afresh by fixing your eyes on Jesus. Your mistakes are not so powerful enough to take you away from the love of God. So seek Him diligently this year. is my prayer for you and for myself. God’s hand is extended to all those who choose Him first in this Year so make it a point to refocus your focus off of your distractions and move closer to God this year. He is saying “I WILL BE YOUR GOD AND YOU WILL BE MY PEOPLE” (Leviticus 26:12; Jeremiah 32:38; Ezekiel 11:20; Ezekiel 14:11; Ezekiel 37:23; Ezekiel 37:27).  Righteousness will be RESTORED.

My prayer is going to be a little different this year but I will start it the same. The focus of the prayer will come from 2 Chronicles 29:3-19 where Hezekiah cleanses the Temple:

³ In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the Lord and repaired them. ⁴ Then he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them in the East Square, ⁵ and said to them: “Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place. ⁶ For our fathers have trespassed and done evil in the eyes of the Lord our God; they have forsaken Him, have turned their faces away from the dwelling place of the Lord, and turned their backs on Him. ⁷ They have also shut up the doors of the vestibule, put out the lamps, and have not burned incense or offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel. ⁸ Therefore the wrath of theLord fell upon Judah and Jerusalem, and He has given them up to trouble, to desolation, and to jeering, as you see with your eyes. ⁹ For indeed, because of this our fathers have fallen by the sword; and our sons, our daughters, and our wives are in captivity.

¹⁰ “Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, that His fierce wrath may turn away from us. ¹¹ My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense.”

¹² Then these Levites arose: Mahath the son of Amasai and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah and Eden the son of Joah; ¹³ of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeiel; of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah; ¹⁴ of the sons of Heman, Jehiel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.

¹⁵ And they gathered their brethren, sanctified themselves, and went according to the commandment of the king, at the words of the Lord, to cleanse the house of the Lord. ¹⁶ Then the priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord to cleanse it, and brought out all the debris that they found in the temple of the Lord to the court of the house of the Lord. And the Levites took it out and carried it to the Brook Kidron.

¹⁷ Now they began to sanctify on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the vestibule of the Lord. So they sanctified the house of the Lord in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.

¹⁸ Then they went in to King Hezekiah and said, “We have cleansed all the house of the Lord, the altar of burnt offerings with all its articles, and the table of the showbread with all its articles. ¹⁹ Moreover all the articles which King Ahaz in his reign had cast aside in his transgression we have prepared and sanctified; and there they are, before the altar of the Lord.”

When you read these verses, think of yourself as the temple that needs to be cleansed…this is what you must do for yourself in order for God to start working His Divine Restoration and Order in your life, AMEN.

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Father God,

I lift up my family, my blogger friends, my real friends and others serving faithfully in Your Name to the throne of God.

For the Year 2016, cover us all under the Blood of Jesus (1 Peter 1:2; 1 John 1:7; 1 John 5:6;Revelation 1:5).

Walk with all of us like a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night (Exodus 13:21), Cover us with the full armor of God  as it says in your Word:

The Whole Armor of God

¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,^[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; ¹⁶ above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. ¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; ¹⁸ praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—¹⁹ and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

May this year be the year of DIVINE RESTORATION AND ORDER. May your people who turned their backs to you in 2015  turn themselves around to face you again this year as they set down their pride and arrogance to humble themselves and put away the rubbish as described in the temple that King Hezekiah sought to be cleansed in the book of 2 Chronicles 29. May your people come to sanctify themselves towards the heart of the father so that they may be vessels of honor before God who will be equipped for every good work as it says in:

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Lord will bring Restoration and Order to all those that Reverentially Fear Him. He will return to His people that which was stolen, broken, taken and destroyed and will give you beauty from all the ashes of what was passed. He will redeem you and make you strong in the Year 2016 and you will reclaim all with strength that you find in the Lord.  The restoration He brings will be mighty to those who have chosen to become vessels of Honor for the Lord as it says in:

2 Timothy 2:20

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.

You will run and will not be weary, you shall not faint because you are strong in the Lord and in the power of His Might (Ephesians 6:10).  Though you may face trials, your victory is assured when you put your Trust in your Redeemer for our Redeemer is strong, The Lord of Hosts is His name (Jeremiah 50:34)  For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9) In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge (Proverbs 14:26).

Therefore this is what the people of God will do this year as it says in:

Zechariah 10 (NKJV)

10 Ask the Lord for rain
In the time of the latter rain.^[a]
The Lord will makeFLASHING clouds;
He will give them showers of rain,
Grass in the field for everyone.

² For the idols^[b] speak delusion;
The diviners envision lies,
And tell false dreams;
They comfort in vain.
Therefore the people wend their way like sheep;
They are in trouble because there is no shepherd.

³ “My anger is kindled against the shepherds,
And I will punish the goatherds.
For the Lord of hosts will visit His flock,
The house of Judah,
And will make them as His royal horse in the battle.
⁴ From him comes the cornerstone,
From him the tent peg,
From him the battle bow,
From him every ruler^[c] together.
⁵ They shall be like mighty men,
Who tread down their enemies
In the mire of the streets in the battle.
They shall fight because the Lord is with them,
And the riders on horses shall be put to shame.

⁶ “I will strengthen the house of Judah,
And I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back,
Because I have mercy on them.
They shall be as though I had not cast them aside;
For I am the Lord their God,
And I will hear them.
⁷ Those of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man,
And their heart shall rejoice as if with wine.
Yes, their children shall see it and be glad;
Their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.
⁸ I will whistle for them and gather them,
For I will redeem them;
And they shall increase as they once increased.

⁹ “I will sow them among the peoples,
And they shall remember Me in far countries;
They shall live, together with their children,
And they shall return.
¹⁰ I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt,
And gather them from Assyria.
I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon,
Until no more room is found for them.
¹¹ He shall pass through the sea with affliction,
And strike the waves of the sea:
All the depths of the River^[d] shall dry up.
Then the pride of Assyria shall be brought down,
And the scepter of Egypt shall depart.

¹² “So I will strengthen them in the Lord,
And they shall walk up and down in His name,”
Says the Lord.

RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL BE RESTORED IN THE YEAR 2016 AMONG GOD’S PEOPLE

Zechariah 8:8

I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.’

2 Corinthians 6:16

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”

Hebrews 8:10

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
