The Greatest Love of All

Hello Everybody!

Today is Valentines day which is a celebration of Love. To be quite honest with you I think that it’s great to celebrate it but I also think that Love should also be practiced everyday. If love is the greatest thing of all in this life, why don’t we see acts of it everyday? Today, show love towards others but don’t forget to show it tomorrow, and the day after that and the day after that. It should be love in action everyday till the day you leave the Earth. Don’t just love Love, become LOVE.

I know that it seems like Valentine’s is dedicated to couples only, but I don’t think so. Valentines isn’t just designated to couples, it’s dedicated to all. You give love by your acts of kindness and receive love by others acts of kindness.  There are different types of Love but we must aim for AGAPE as a way of life because Jesus is AGAPE Love.

Let’s explore the types of LOVE that we are aware of:

Phileo Love  –  is affectionate love – the type expressesed by giving affection.

Eros Love – Sexual/Passionate love – Love that is strictly between one man and one woman in a (marital relationship)…notice how I didn’t say courtship …I said MARITAL relationship.

Storge love – Love between a parent and child – Love that is directed between parent and child and kin.

AGAPE Love – God is Love– This is the type of love we must try to honor with each other and with ourselves.

Jesus is the Greatest Love of all since He died for us so that no one would perish but have everlasting life in HIS LOVE. Let us exemplify this Love today and forever so that Love isn’t just a Feb 14 thing every year…it’s an everyday thing. BECOME LOVE and SHOW IT.

GOD says to you Today  “Happy Valentines Day, I Love you, Yesterday, Today and FOREVER, Be my VALENTINE”.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”” John 13:34-35 NKJV

Today, bask in God’s Love for you. It is everlasting! It is a Love that is Perfect and it casts out all fear and provides hope. Be a reflection of Gods love for you by the way you love others. Love is not possessive, it is shared. Love rejoices in the truth so know today that you are indeed Loved. Single, Married, Divorced, Widowed or are currently in a relationship, whatever stage you are in Life, God will Always Love you.
