Weekend Worship: Greater Is Coming
Hi Everybody,
I just feel myself absorbing in powerful worship. This song by Jekalyn Carr called Greater is Coming is just phenomenal. I feel so touched by it that I can’t wait to post it for tomorrow, so I’m posting it now. May this song minister to your needs.
GREATER IS COMING!!!!!! God Bless You Everybody!
Thought of the Day: So You’re Christian Huh?
Hi Everybody!
I think I’m on spoken word mode. This video I’m sharing really makes you look at where you stand in Christ. It’s one thing to know about God, but it’s another to be in relationship with Him. We can’t have an acquaintance-like relationship with Jesus by knowing Him in Name only and yet ignore Him for who He really is to us; He is our Lord and Savior and King of kings. May this Video help us to search deep within to know where we really stand. It’s amazing how much scripture Shawn Presley used in his spoken word, but the truth is needed to be heard in order to confront that which we try to shove under the carpet.
It’s amazing how much we try not to face ourselves when we say we are walking “in Christ” and yet live jaded lives thinking that God is blind to our acts of omission or commission to sin. In some cases, we Christians act engaged to Christ and yet are divorced from the Father’s love for us for the mere fact that we aren’t living for God wholly. It’s sad to have a part-time Christian faith when really God seeks a full-time marriage commitment of Faith. If we are the Bride of Christ as we so claim, we must no longer portray a mistress status with our King. Let’s dig deep and pray that the Church of Jesus Christ wakes up to see its real face and not live a compromised life swaying like a pendulum with the world’s way of living and start pursuing righteousness for what it is- living in right-standing with Christ. May we confess before God for not really being what we are meant to be in His Eyes which is to be Joint-Heirs with Christ Jesus. We can’t claim to be a powerful church, if we aren’t even plugged-in to the source which is in Christ our solid Rock, our redeemer and foundation of faith. May God help us be the Church that we ought to be and may we as Christians humble ourselves before the King of kings and repent for not being what we should be before Him. Let’s re-align ourselves back to the heart of the Father and seek to live in right-standing with Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, Amen!
Enjoy the Video and God bless you Everybody!
The Season of the NEW
Hi Everybody!
Today is the 2nd day of Spring! I woke up this morning with an encouraging Word that spoke to my spirit a couple of days ago. In my life there have been extreme changes taking place that have made things rather murky and in a sense uncomfortable for me. I’m seeing people leave my life and new ones entering into it… there have been moments I have had mixed emotions about what I’m seeing, but the Lord encouraged me as I meditated on the meaning of Easter. He gave me this specific scripture:
18 “Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
20 The beast of the field will honor Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I give waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My people, My chosen.
I believe that this is an encouraging Word for you and me Today. I believe that God is setting up people for an expansion of new territories and changes in their lives. When there is an expansion of territory it means you have to discover what is in those territories in order to claim whatever exists in that territory as yours. Whatever NEW thing that presents itself in your life, DO NOT FEAR the NEW changes, rather seek to walk by faith into the NEW thing that God is doing in your life because it is in these unchartered territories that you will see great things happen and manifest in your life. I admit that I am a little apprehensive and at the same time excited about the NEW things that God has planned in my life; however, I choose to be willing to continue to move by faith and see what happens. So many things have shifted within a short time frame that I believe that it is necessary for these changes to occur in order to move you and increase your belief to be strengthened from FAITH to FAITH.
This means you have to RENEW your way of thinking and the way you do things. Do Not Fear Change, instead, embrace it and walk into it by FAITH and see amazing things happen in your life.I have a song that I still love and have posted before in a post I think I did a year ago and it’s from Dorinda Clarke Cole called Everything He Promised. May this Song bless your Spirit Everybody!
Understanding Purpose
It has been a while since I last posted so today’s post is more a thought piece.
For the past few weeks I’ve been reflecting on what it means to walk into destiny and the Lord pointed out to me that the only way to reach our destinies in life is by learning to understand your purpose in life.
Do you know what your purpose is in life?
How does one understand their purpose?
Do you know that we are all a solution to a question that hasn’t been answered?
We tend to figure out who we are by recognizing what makes us tick, what inspires us, what moves us, what makes us want to act on something and we tend to find the answers to these questions by looking out for things that we want to change. The desire to change something and make something better is a clue as to where our destiny lies.
Sometimes as we grow up we have an idea of what we want to be, but the full picture isn’t always clear until God reveals to us what our true purpose is in this life. I sometimes look within myself and wonder, what am I here for? Each day I see areas that I am a solution to different problems.
I’m convinced that we were all created to heal this broken world. In fact, we are all ordained and set apart (sanctified) to heal this broken world. We may all operate at different capacities, however, we were all created to give glory to God through our talents and abilities. Although we are all born with various talents and abilities, not everybody is walking in their destinies because they aren’t walking in the right direction. When someone isn’t walking in the right direction, they walk away from what God intended them to be because they are lost. Unfortunately, there are a lot of lost people in this world and that is why it is so important to seek to do God’s will as Christians. Understanding God’s will helps us to understand our purpose in life which leads us to walk towards what we were destined to be; a solution to a broken world that doesn’t know Jesus Christ is the answer regarding their identity. The one thing we must do is entrust our destinies in the Lord’s Hands. We all have dreams, but only God can help us make these dreams a reality. The focus here is to trust God with all our heart, with all our mind and with all our soul. We cannot move forward without believing in the Author and Finisher of our destiny (Hebrews 12:2). When we understand Jesus, we can then learn to understand ourselves and our purpose. So we must seek to understand our purpose in order to walk with a purpose.
Those who understand their purpose have the ability to steer others who are lost to find their purpose. When you have a clear vision of who you are in Christ, you are able to draw others towards Him by the very nature of God’s presence that resides in you to be a fisher of all men and women (Matthew 4:19). The only way to understand your purpose is to learn to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF because God already Believes in YOU. In the same way, we must put our Trust in God for our lives because He is the one that guides us to our purpose. So Today, focus on leaning on God to Understand your Purpose, because purpose is tied to you believing in God for your destiny so that you can walk in it.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
I have a song here to bless your spirit today by VaShawn Mitchell feat. Kierra Sheard called I Will. May it bless you abundantly everybody!
God – You Did!
Hi Everybody!
Wooohoooooooo it’s the final day of the Fast for me! The whole journey has been rather surreal for me. I remember going to church last night because we were praying throughout the 21 Day Daniel Fast so it was holding a prayer service, and as people were praying for their needs, I literally saw a cloud of smoke hovering the entire congregation and it filled the entire room and I knew it was the presence of God because this wasn’t the first time I’d seen this happen.
All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door.
People of God, the presence of God is tangible from my experience. It was a fearful sight for me, because that is when you realize that you’ve entered into a place that is considered the Holy of Holies. I remember feeling like I was just trembling throughout the prayer session and what I can say is that when you enter into that Holy place, you can’t joke around in that presence. I believe that the same God who walked with the Isralites like a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night is able to make His presence known to those who reverentially fear Him. As I meditate today, I feel in my spirit that the Lord wants people to know that the Lord will lead you in the night time and in the day time with knowledge, instruction, direction from the Light that comes from His Word. All you have to do is watch Him lead and you follow as you walk by faith and not by sight.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.
I’m expecting a new move of God this year. What took years to be established will take days if not hours to be fulfilled. There is indeed a quickening in the spirit so don’t give up on what you are praying for is my encouragement today. God will show you the road in which you should travel if you just put your trust in Him today.
Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, And by night with a pillar of fire, To give them light on the road Which they should travel.
Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go.
I feel like celebrating the end of this fast with a song by J.Moss (feat. James Fortune) called You Did. May this Song bless your spirit today Everybody!
21 Day Daniel Fast: Needing God’s Grace to Build Emotional Strength
Hi Everybody!
It’s been a busy New Year, more busier than I anticipated, but we are back in the mode of the 21 Day Daniel Fast. My Fast started on the 2nd of January and so far I have decided that I won’t chronicle my meditations daily as I did last year. I found that last year the fast was so intense that I found it difficult to sleep because I was in such a spiritually heightened state that I developed insomnia which I have not been able to get over since now.
These days, I feel the need to just bask in solitude and will type up whenever I have the time my thoughts during the fast. So far there have been many strange things that I have been noticing as of late, but despite all that I have witnessed and experienced and still continue to witness, I can attest to the fact that God’s grace during the fast is amazing. I find that the beginning of the Fast is always the most difficult for many including myself to start; however, as time goes by it gets a little bit easier once you reach your determination level to stay the course.
I find that just by being silent and really just training my spirit to hear what the Father has to say has been a humbling experience. Although I see visions of things happening and things yet to come, there is that sense of feeling overwhelmed by the information that I’m receiving that has caused me to feel like I just need to be silent for this fast. It’s that waiting period when you are awaiting instructions and at the same time taking the time to observe that which ought to change within (yourself) in order to change throughout. I probably am not making any sense right now to others; however, what I will say is that as I sit here contemplating about God’s grace in my life, I can testify that there are times when I have taken it for granted. I think to some extent we all do. Life is seemingly so transient, but when you find the path that leads to eternity, your life never really stays the same again unless you decide to forsake the path.
From what I can see, this year is going to be dynamic and at the same time a trying year as well. I get the sense that there will be difficult tests that each person will have to go through in order to see a new side of God in their lives. Developing spiritual strength starts from developing emotional strength. The one word that hit me at the beginning of this fast that has been disturbing me for quite some time is the word “Treachery”. I’m not exactly sure why this has been on my mind as of late, but from what I understand, all I can think of is that as I have been talking about the David Generation rising this year, it is important to know how one should engage the enemy especially enemies that have a Saul-like spirit. There was a point where David had an opportunity to kill Saul because of his treacherous ways, but David did not kill him even though he may have been justified in doing so. It is so important to NOT create any room for hatred to enter into ones heart. It has a way of contaminating your spirit. This is why we need to make room for God’s grace in our lives. The Grace of God helps us to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).
Read about how “David Spares Saul” in 1 Samuel 24-28
This is why it is important to develop emotional strength. I think for myself…this will be the area that I will be focusing on this year since I admit that I can be emotionally immature when dealing with certain kinds of people. I know that when I lived with my grandparents, I witnessed various forms of treachery that it developed in me a sense of taking justice into my own hands because I couldn’t stand to witness injustice. Thank God I never did because God doesn’t want us to do such things. He wants us to allow Him to take care of our enemies His Way, if only we just learn to TRUST HIM. This means….vengeance belongs to God and we have to step aside and let Him do His thing. That’s extreme humility and that’s what we all should develop if we want to be successful in Spiritual Warfare. We usually say things like “the Battle is not ours, it is the Lords” and yet some people take the battle into their own hands and suffer incredible losses because they refused to wait on God to take over and ensure victory. Defeat can be avoided when we yield to the power of the Holy Spirit, so for this year…people, develop emotional strength for the battles that you will face. I can sense that the war is heightening in intensity this year, so I urge all who are participating in the Fast to focus on building fortified walls of HUMILITY. God is your strength and shield, Amen!
Another thing that I want to say is that it’s one thing to be anointed, but it’s another to have the right mindset to handle the weight of it. Even so, God’s Grace is sufficient to meet the need as long as we remain humble. Humility is completely key this year. Also, from my own meditations, the one thing we must understand is that might and power won’t take us to the destination of our destinies. We can only reach our destinies through the power of the Holy Spirit. Not everyone has trained themselves to rely on the Spirit because they are too used to having faith built by their own hands, but if you want something to have “staying power”, you need to let the Holy Spirit build things His way so that whatever you try to build will not be shaken. Christ is the solid rock and He should be our foundation. So for those participating in the Daniel Fast, recognize that this Fast trains you to strengthen your Humility in order to be successful in your Spiritual Warfare. Humility takes you places…pride halts progress.
The Daniel Fast is also a form of Spiritual Warfare to receive answers and instructions from God so continue to meditate on God’s Word and keep it in your Heart when you encounter your battles this year.
I have a song to lift your Spirit up today called Grace sung by Bebe & Cece Winans. May this Song Bless your Spirit. God Bless you Everybody!

So I want to share an awesome video to keep the spirit of Praise and Worship alive alive! This is from the Asian group Worship Dance who dance to the song How Great is Our God! Some of you will recognize them from the other song I posted a while back when the danced to Toby Mac and Kirk Franklin’s Be Still and Know I am God. Enjoy this Video everybody and remember God is GREAT!!!!!!! God bless you everybody!
Psalm 148 – Praise the LORD
I just want to give the Lord praise today for all that He keeps doing for me and for others in my life. Here is a video to get you in the mood to worship Him today.
Sometimes when we get bogged down with work, school, family, activities, personal issues etc etc, we can forget to give the Lord praise when we focus on our problems rather than on our blessings. There is so much going on in my life right now, but I don’t want to forget the good things that the Lord has done for me. Sometimes I focus on my frustrations when I shouldn’t, but when I start to sing, or pray, or focus on what the Lord has done in the little parts of my day to make things better rather than magnify my problems, I end up in a place where He becomes magnified and He gets all of my praise.
As a praise and worshiper, I have come to realize that there are times when it is difficult to praise the Lord when what you are going through feels like a pit situation; A place where you feel stuck, or where you feel there is no remedy for this situation. I have even noticed that there are moments when I forget words to a song because my mind is elsewhere thinking about a problem that is triggered by a memory out of nowhere that I’ve lost my focus on what I really should be doing which is to give the Lord praise.
Why do these things happen, you ask?
These things simply happen because it’s spiritual warfare to be a War-shiper worshiper.
Worship is a lifestyle, but it’s also a spiritual weapon of warfare.
I purpose to give the Lord the highest praise and give it my all even when the going is rough sometimes. I think that when you’re able to worship the Lord even in your daily struggles, I believe that pure worship is born from these struggles as you continue to recognize the fragility of your humanity and the need of your Lord and Savior in whatever trial you face. So today, focus not on your worries, focus on giving the Lord praise. Start with saying thankyous and then move onto giving blessings and then move onto praise HIM.
God doesn’t want partial worshipers, He wants complete worshipers that will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
John 4:23
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.John 4:24
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
It doesn’t mean that you deny your circumstances or your problems, but as a worshiper you choose to not over-exalt your trial before the Lord. Only the Lord can turn your situation around if you believe. Worship is born from Faith, so give all your faith in the One who is able to change whatever it is that you face today, Amen!
I have a song from Israel Hougton to minister to you today. It’s called Hosanna.
God bless you everybody!
Consumer Worship
Hi Everybody!
Happy TGIF!
Well, I hope you are all having a blessed week
. I wanted to give you all a wonderful vid to look at today concerning how we view worship. Worship is important to me and I can’t help but notice that I seem to be having an ongoing theme regarding it. Like I said before, Worship is not a Sunday affair. It should be a daily practice that can be demonstrated in how you give of yourself and your time to the Lord. I hope people don’t have a designated 5 minute time slot for the Lord when He is always with you every single moment of every single day. Unfortunately, many Christians are giving the Lord the silent treatment acting like He’s not there so today, I would like for us to think about what you have done to show God how much you love Him. I sing about Him, I write, I give my time and money to the things of the Lord, I read, I talk about Him…God is always on my mind everyday. I pray that we also have Him in our hearts each day. Worship God with all of your mind, body and your soul everybody. God deserves our Worship
.
May this video bless your spirit today! God bless you everybody!
A Lifestyle of Worship
Hi Everybody!
I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Monday has just passed and we’re now onto Tuesday depending on what time zone you’re in. Today, I was thinking that as a worshipper we must consider what it means to worship God in all that we do. I think to some extent we only make the time to worship God as a Sunday affair and miss out on worshipping Him every single day.
Living a life of worship means praying, thanking, praising, exalting, remembering, believing and trusting that God is always with you every step of the way in whatever you do. Some people shelve Him after Sunday Service is done….but we need to learn that we must worship and love God with all of our hearts and our minds and our Souls. We can’t compartamentalize the Lord in the far corners of our minds and think that we have all the time to get to that place where we will make the time when each second of each day is literally a gift from God. So when you wake up in the morning, praise the Lord that you are alive to see another day.
When you go throughout your day, bless the Lord by giving thanks for all the good things that occur in your day. Every good occurance in your life is from God to begin with…nothing is left to “chance” and nothing is a “coincidence” because your life is predetermined by the choices that you make. When you bless God more, you’ll see more blessings enter into your life and right before you lay your head to sleep, remember to give the Lord praise for He is the author and finisher of your day and will give you peace to deal with the next one. Tomorrow is never promised, today is a gift and yesterday is gone so start now and live a life of worship unto God and remember that God is not a Sunday appointment, He is your daily bread so worship Him everyday with every chance that you’ve got because each second is a blessing from on high.
Have a Blessed week everbody and know that God loves you!

The Most Powerful Prayer
Hi Everybody!
It’s the weekend and so far it’s been foggy, rainy and on the cooler side this morning, but it’s still another day that the Lord has made for you if you are able to read this message so REJOICE!
You must be wondering what the most powerful prayer is since I entitled this post “The Most Powerful Prayer”. There are indeed many prayers that are powerful but the one I’m showcasing today is the one that we all know. It is the Lord’s Prayer. Jesus in Matthew 6: 8-13 covers all the things we need to do when we pray to our Father God. Instead of writing it out for you, I’ll give you a video about it. Praise God, Seek Forgiveness for your faults and failures, then Forgive those who have wronged you and then exalt the King of kings.
May this Video bless you today everybody! ![]()
The Blood of Jesus – What is Living by Grace?
It’s been a while since I wrote a post apart from my story telling time so I’m just getting back into that mode again today. Today, is a wonderful day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. For those of you that read my story about The Man by the Bus Stop , thank you very much for your input and encouragement. I was a little nervous about putting it up on Wpress at first but then I figured my fears are unfounded and just went and did it anyway. Many of you have caught on to what the message was about which is great because I was trying to convey it in the best way I could so that people don’t misinterpret the message. Using a lot of symbolism such as the red umbrella was a great mechanism for me to use to allude to the covering that we all share under the blood of Jesus Christ. There will definitely more stories to come once I get around to it.
We as the bride of Christ should not forget that our groom who is Jesus Christ awaits us in the coming last days. I think to a large extent we take life for granted and assume that living by grace alone is ok while some still continue to live lives that contradict this grace that we have on our lives. I think to a large extent people don’t seem to understand what true grace is. In my opinion, I believe that GRACE is a probationary period to change our ways as we pursue to walk in right standing before our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is the plumb-line used to measure those that are walking right next to him amongst His people since He is our righteousness. Many people think that just because the Blood of Jesus covers all sin, they think that they have a license to keep on sinning so long as they remember to plead the blood of Jesus over their lives on a regular basis. I think that for those who think this way, they are running into a dangerous corner of self-deception if they think that merely pleading the blood over yourself on a daily basis while not making an honest effort to change your ways is enough to keep you from going to hell.
People, do not be deceived with this way of thinking!
When we repent, we must actually turn completely around from doing evil and pursue towards the path of righteousness. It’s one thing to get saved, but it is totally another thing to keep and stay saved. Salvation starts off as a decision, but it doesn’t stop there because it is an ongoing journey with the Lord until you reach the prize.
The question I have for people today is how far along have you gone along in this journey?
I know based on my own experiences that I have been challenged countless times, but at the end of the day, we must look at the road set before us and seriously consider the uphill battles we will face. These battles are called SPIRITUAL WARFARE. Salvation isn’t a walk in the park everybody. Whoever makes you assume that everything will be a candy cane experience after you accept Jesus Christ as Lord isn’t telling you the entire story. Salvation is a mountain top that we seek to climb until we reach its peak. The higher up you climb, the higher the pressure and the more difficult it becomes to breathe that you will feel like fainting or collapsing just because the pressure is that great when pursuing such high altitudes. Many people start off great, thinking that the walk along the base of a mountain seems to be easy, but as you continue to push forward on upwards, you will realize the reality of the battles that lay before you and ahead of you as you continue to climb. Even though that is the case, keep pressing forward and never give up! At such times we need divine assistance in our uphill battles and that is when we call on the HOLY SPIRIT to guide us. We must never forget to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), to walk in the Spirit and not in the Flesh (Romans 8:4) when we decide to take up the cross and walk in the journey that God has set before us.
Yes, you will encounter days where you feel like giving up and that is where you sit on the journey to later get back up again after taking a breather rather than turn around and walk back down the mountain. Take a breather each time you encounter battle fatigue. Rest is better than resignation because you regain your energy during that time in order to continue on the journey. When you resign from the journey, you completely lose drive and purpose and eventually end up going back to the same place where you felt most comfortable which is called your “COMFORT ZONE”. Walking up a mountain is no joke…believe me…I’ve done it before and I don’t know if I’ll ever do that again; However, staying at the base of it never trying to push beyond your limits is also a dis-service to yourself as well. I know I have comfort zones that I need to tackle and sometimes I get really irked out when some people try to push me off the ledge and into the water. It is at those moments where you decide to either sink or swim. Hopefully, you decide to swim because sinking should never be the option at the end of the day.
So when you walk with the Lord in your daily battles, remember to thank God for the blood that is able to cover us each day since His mercies are new each morning (Lamentations 3:22-24). Thank God for the grace in your lives, but don’t take the Lord’s grace over your life for granted. Remember that the Lord’s grace is like a probationary period to change your ways. Just like our worldly legal system provides a grace period for people to change their conduct, this probationary period also has an expiry date to consider the final outcome during sentencing. Ensure that your life is measuring up to a sentence that drops all charges over you rather than incurring judgment because of deciding to violate your probationary period. God’s grace is a probationary period to change your ways…so decide to stay saved.
We are entering into a new season since we are in the ninth month of this year. The number nine biblically means judgement so we cannot fool with this season. We have only 4 months of this year left before we reach the end of the year of God’s divine Government being established. I believe that revivals are going to break forth like we’ve never seen before. I believe that we’re going to see a greater manifestation of God’s grace in our lives if we believe for it. There will be a season of miracles that will become like the talk of the town during that season. All of these things are yet to come if we believe. There will be a greater dispensation of God’s spirit on the present generation rising. I believe all these things by faith. I speak all of these things into the atmosphere seeking God’s Will will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Praise God for the new things that will and are yet to occur. God is definitely focused on His bride so prepare yourself Body of Christ for the arrival of our groom.

I have a song here by Mryon Butler that I’ve been listening to for the past few days called The blood of Jesus. May this song bless your spirit today. God bless you everybody!

Worship Sunday: Echo!
Hi Everybody!
I hope you are having a fully blessed Sunday today. There’s this song that’s in my spirit right now that I want to share right here.
It’s by Worship Chapel recorded live at Jentezen Franklin’s church with the song called Echo! I think we all could do with a little bit of praise and worship for this Holy Ghosted day! May it bless you today and in all that you do, remember to give the Lord the highest praise! God bless you everybody!
What Have I been Reading Lately?
Hi Everybody!
I know, I haven’t had much time lately for a decent devotional but I will get cracking eventually. Right now I’m reading many books of Deliverance and Healing. I just finished reading Cindy Jacobs book called Deliver Us From Evil. Let me tell you that that book is phenomenal! It is eye opening and I will definitely recommend it here for y’all to go pick it up in your Christian book store. It is one book that was mentioned in Rebecca Greenwood’s book Let Our Children Go! if you read my previous post called War- Ship We will sing songs of Deliverance.
Cindy Jacobs does in an in depth analysis of different occultic practices that are infiltrating in the subtle activities that our children are engaging themselves in presently and confronts issues with witchcraft practices subtly being introduced through movies, music , cartoons and video games. I would read it along with Rebecca’s book since it reveals a little bit more of certain things we take for granted like reading horoscopes and the like. It’s opened up my eyes and some things you may not have even considered to be occultic leads you to repent about it. For example thoughts about reincarnation…as subtle as it is, it is something like that which is what I consider to be a vain imagination that needs to be repented about if you engage is such thoughts.
2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
I found myself repenting over a lot of stuff since some of the things she explains were done out of ignorance. It’s worth a read and it will definitely help you to break curses that you probably have no clue are operating in your life right now if you participated in certain activities like something as innocent as playing Dungeons and Dragons or playing with a Ouija board etc. You’ll have to seek God and repent of these type of things because such things leave so much legal ground for curses to operate in ones life which can later become generational if one refuses to break the curse through repentance. Knowledge is power people…don’t be a proverbial Hosea 4:6 -
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.
Cindy Jacobs also explains things a little more intricately in her book and of course there are more books to discover on the topic of deliverance. In fact, if you’re serious, I totally recommend another book called The Handbook for Spiritual Warfare by Dr. Ed Murphy. It’s about 600+ pages but it’s awesome and I consider it to be an easy read. Actually, I have many books to recommend, but I won’t over-burden y’all with my book recommendations if you’re not interested in spiritual warfare, healing and deliverance ministry. If you are, I’ll probably make a special post just for book recommendations and probably do some book reviews periodically. I’ve been thinking about it for a while but everything depends on peoples level of interest on the topic so it’s just food for thought in terms of future posts. I typically recommend books I’ve read mostly or have heard was really good by others who have read the book that they recommend to me to read. I prefer recommending books I’ve read though, so that’s what I will probably do for now.
Right now I even recommend James Goll’s book Deliverance from Darkness which I’m still reading at the moment, and let me tell you, his book is also quite phenomenal as well. He takes a biblical perspective regarding deliverance and the type of spirits people may encounter and how to deal with people needing deliverance. Healing is important to every individual, but like Cindy said in her forward in Rebecca Greenwood’s book Let Our children Go!, there comes a time when some things just need to be cast out because of the very nature of the problem. Counseling can only take you so far at times, but then there is that need for deliverance in certain situations that are beyond counseling. Anyway, I’m still a scholar in this whole topic, so these are the books I’m recommending at the moment if you are an intercessor specifically, in fact I think since we are all called to intercede everybody should be in the same bandwagon. no more putting your head in the sand thinking such problems will just magically disappear. We need to be more knowledgeable about this type of stuff if we are a warfaring church. I’ve read a lot more books, but these ones are pretty awesome so far. I have other books I’d recommend from Peter Horrobin, and Charles T. Kraft but I’ve got to read them first before I say anything. I also would consider that anyone reading any of these books that I recommend or if you find other books on your own regarding the topic of deliverance, I highly suggest that you first pray to have your mind covered because it is warfare for even me to be reading these books. Always pray for covering for every Christian book that you read. Well, I think that’s my last book recommendation for now lol
I think I’m getting carried away here lol. I guess you can tell that I love reading
Have an Amazing day Everybody! God Bless y’all!
Regrets
Hi Everybody,
Happy FRIDAY! Wow it’s already the third day of Summer and as you noticed I reblogged my summer survival kit for all those who need a few pointers to survive the heat. Keep cool and drink lots and lots of water. Don’t regret anything.
Todays devotional is about regrets. I know that I’ve done many things I regret but at the same time I have learned that it is more important to consider what I should have done differently had I a chance to turn things around. We shouldn’t mill around in self-pity when God can turn what was meant for evil for good when we choose to lean on His divine wisdom to get out of this mess. One thing we should never do is end up being in denial of the mess we make. It’s not a good thing to be in-denial of our own problems because that’s an area of pride that refuses to take responsibility for actions. I agree that some things are beyond our control and some things are based on irresponsible decisions that we make, but despite all of this we have the Holy Spirit in us to develop self-control. When we take ownership for our actions it is easier to reconcile with the Father when we come to Him with a contrite spirit that seeks forgiveness and assistance to set things back on course. Offence can derail us and self-condemnation arrests us, so it is important to seek God and repent of any area of weakness, failures and mistakes with honesty and with humility.
Psalm 34:18
The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.Psalm 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despiseIsaiah 57:15
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
God is so good in that even though we make many mistakes, He is still willing to work with us when we humble ourselves and recognize that “Oops…I made a mess of things. Please help me” because His love endures forever (Psalm 136 ). Ask for God’s help today and you’ll see turn arounds when you yield to His infinite wisdom. I know that for me some mistakes can’t be easily repaired overnight and somethings take time to heal but with whatever is impossible with us, with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). It is true that some things may end up as wounds, but God is able to heal the deepest crevices of our hearts even when they are broken. So today, Lean on God’s Love and ask Him for a divine turn around in your situation. God loves it when we ask Him for His help because He comes to us with open arms just like the father that greeted his prodigal son that sqwandered his inheritance and came back seeking his fathers forgiveness. In the same way, Let God greet you with Open arms as you return to Him in HUMILITY.He will robe you in His righteousness as you seek to connect with him and remain in right standing together with the Lord as your covering. May this video bless you Everybody!

Scriptures to Meditate
Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Genesis 50:20
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
Job 42:10 (NKJV)
10 And the Lord restored Job’s losses[a] when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Luke 15:10-32 (NKJV)
10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
The Parable of the Lost Son
1
1 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’
20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring[a] out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.
25 “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’
28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’
31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’”

The Language of Worship
Hi Everybody!
Yesterday I was in a conversation with some choir members regarding music. The Topic was a discussion concerning Secular versus Christian music. Music is a language that translates emotions, feelings and it also reveals that which we worship. Music can glorify Self, Problems or God but that is dependent on the lyrics to a song. As a worshiper, I thought to myself that we are losing a generation to hype and sounds because they do not listen to the words being spoken in the lyrics of these songs.
I found a clip from P4CM about two teens that decided to stop listening to Secular music and their thoughts. Check it out.
I personally have stopped meditating on and listening to music that does not fill my spirit. I’m not saying people should do what I do, but that’s where I am in my walk with God. Can I say that I am avoiding it all completely???…Well no because when you go to a clothes store you’ll hear music playing in the background and sometimes it’s unwholesome but as long as I don’t meditate on such music, it has no power to contaminate my spirit.
The way I see it, not all secular music is bad but the songs that promote immorality in their lyrics are what we have to watch out for and listen for as well. We cannot afford to be passive hearers of music and not listen to what is being sung in the lyrics at all.
Music is a language that becomes a form of worship by the way we respond to it. Is it truly a wonder how we can get a packed stadium when Usher Raymond, Beyonce, Rhianna or Katy perry come to sing? What they sing with the beat of the music stimulates our senses to gravitate to their songs and when people become fans, they have translated their love of music as a form of worship to the person singing the song. What people choose to idolize is who they end up worshiping. If God doesn’t receive the same level of worship as a famous singer, then there is definitely something wrong with how we are translating how we worship God through music. Music is a powerful force but it is the language we need to fine tune so that we give God all the Glory, all the honor and all the praise.
Music speaks to our heart and therefore is written from the heart. The reason we always concern ourselves with “The heart of worship” is because that’s where all worship comes from; our hearts. Also consider that when you worship God, you also capture His Heart. When a heart is moved, everything becomes possible. Healing and deliverance becomes easy because the heart is moved to believe. So today think about what it is that you worship from the very depths of your heart and consider that to some extent we have failed to give our 100% to the Lord. Think about what it is that is hindering you from giving your 100% level of worship and consider that worship is such a strong language that it can mobilize people into one mind, one voice and one worship to one Superior God, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Think about these things daily with much consideration and have a blessed day everybody!
I have here a song by Terry MacAlmon called Captivate My Heart.

Scriptures to Meditate
Psalm 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
24 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. 25 And thus[a] the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.
Order in Church Meetings
26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
Psalm 9:1
[ Prayer and Thanksgiving for the LORD’s Righteous Judgments ] To the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Death of the Son.” A Psalm of David. I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
Psalm 111:1
[ Praise to God for His Faithfulness and Justice ] Praise the LORD! I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, In the assembly of the upright and in the congregation.

In Your Presence
Hi Everybody!
I just love worship and hosting the presence of God when I sing or put on music that fills the room. Whether it be in my car or in my bedroom, worship is where I want to be. Today, I have a song that I love and still love and I pray that it ministers to you today. God is Holy and worthy of all our praises. When I think of His Goodness it’s hard to tear myself away from His Holy Presence. If I had my way, I’d surround myself in a room full of worship songs that would run throughout the day and night and would never stop. That’s how much worshipping Him means to me. Heaven is always in an atmosphere of worship with the angels and heavenly hosts that bow down to worship His Majesty, His Excellency, His Honorable Highness. I’d like to be there right now and just bask in the presence of God as I cry Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty! God is soooooooooo AWESOME! He is all we need, Amen! I’m in so much awe of His divine Goodness that it’s overwhelming me that no words can even capture how I feel towards the Lord. I Love Jesus!
This song is by Lakewood Church called In Your Presence. May it bless you today Everybody! God Bless you Everyone!
Witchcraft in the Pews – Engaging in Strategic Spiritual Warfare
Hi Everybody!
Wow is it ever so hot today? I still feel under the weather so please keep me in prayer everyone.
Well, today I want to touch on a subject that came across as interesting for those of us engaged in Spiritual Warfare. I watched a video that a friend of mine forwarded to me of Pastor Benny Hinn talking to Bishop George Bloomer about his new book called Witchcraft in the Pews. I just heard about the book recently but I’m gonna recommend it here that y’all go and get it. I am so excited to get the book because I’m interested in spiritual warfare since I’m always engaged in it everyday. As intercessors, I think it should be our prerogative to enhance our prayer lives if we want to be an effective spiritual war-faring church. I will post the videos below since they are in 2 parts, but when I watched them I can tell you that so many things started to reel in my mind. As a church we are all called to intercede and engage in Spiritual Warfare but how many people understand what type of warfare that they are in and will encounter? Check out these videos before I continue on with the subject.
Spiritual warfare isn’t so much dealing with spirits and demons as it is with dealing with people. Jesus was always engaged in spiritual warfare in His ministry not by ”demonic spirits” all the time but by people who tried to intimidate Him, manipulate Him, and in different instances tried to dominate Him with their accusations, lies, back-biting and with their constant harassment trying to discredit his identity as the Messiah. Obviously, when you are anointed, you will attract adverse people who operate with a witchcraft spirit.
David is the best example of what it means to combat a witchcraft spirit when you look at the life of Saul. Saul was out for David’s blood in a way that isn’t normal for a person. He wasn’t just jealous of David, he hated David with a passion because the divine favour of the Lord was upon Him and had left Saul because of his rebellious behaviour (1 Samuel 15:22-24). As a consequence of Saul’s rebellion, Prophet Samuel had been commissioned by God to anoint David to become the next King of Israel because David was God’s choice to whom was elected because of the type of heart David had towards his love for the Lord. David is indeed special because the weight of Glory that was upon his head was the kind that every time David went into battle, he would always win because He had the favour of God on His side. David is a champion of Spiritual warfare literally because his success in battles were a result of his Reverential Fear of the Lord (Wisdom) and his level of Obedience to God was indeed stellar and characteristic of his humility. We must learn what it means to be a David in order to understand how to engage in everyday battles effectively with people we encounter on a daily basis with wisdom and discernment.
1 Peter 4:17
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
This is something I am sensing greatly in my spirit right now and I know some people won’t like what I have to say but I have no fear in saying what needs to be said.
The Alarm bells are ringing in the wake of ungodly decrees being spoken into the atmosphere by political leaders that are pronouncing changes in laws that will in effect, legalize such perversions that deviate from biblical principles. We are at a critical time this year and a lot of things need to be addressed without fear because the days are becoming evil.
Some church leaders are able to do this without fear because they reverence God more than people (Thank GOD), while other leaders are too tolerant and afraid to address these hot issues because they don’t want to “offend anybody” all because they fear people more than God. My friends….Saul preferred to please people rather than offend them with the righteousness of God and it is that type of Saul-like attitude that prophet Samuel had no choice but to tell it to him like it is and call out on the fact that Saul’s rebellious attitude is as the sin of Witchcraft and as a consequence of his behaviour, God had rejected him from being KING. This isn’t a mystery here folks. There will be some serious dethroning of Sauls this year as the Davids rise up. Yes, the Davids will rise up in this year of Divine Government and those that operate like Saul will be judged accordingly to the measure of their rebelliousness. I know what I am saying sounds bold, but I really believe this will happen this year and this is what I am hearing in my spirit. We cannot afford to be people-pleasing like Saul at the expense of our relationship toward our obedience to God. We have to Fear God more than man and if it means offending some folks then so be it. Obedience is better than people-pleasing.
Witchcraft isn’t so much potions and hexes as some people would have it. Those that practice voodoo and the black arts are into the occult. Divination of spirits which also include those that call on the dead and so on are another form of witchcraft that is occult related, but the witchcraft I am referring to today is of the kind whereby people operate with a rebellious spirit through the use of intimidation, manipulation, domination and control of another persons will against their own. This is very much like a SAUL-like spirit. Anything that targets at controlling someones will against their own is witchcraft. You will be surprised how rampant it is in your families where you have at least one controlling member(or members) in the family that you don’t like that somehow call the shots on how and who you should marry, how many kids you should have and seek to control the lives of other members through coercive actions and intimidation tactics that break peoples spirit, break peoples relationships and destroy families altogether. Such people are also found in the Church *surprise surprise* who attempt to manipulate members in the congregation or in ministries to obey them using spiritual manipulation by quoting scriptures out of context to suit their agenda to drive people with guilt to perform a specific task, or coerce them to sin rather than convict people with the Word to change their ways by addressing sin that leads to repentance and reconciliation. These are classified as wolves in sheep’s clothing, and we can go as far up as the people involved in the political realm who do the same exact thing but they use the law to control the masses. When I see what is going on in the United States right now, especially in the political arena…I can tell you for sure that there is a heavy unleash of the Witchcraft spirit in the nation that is allowing for open doors of perversion by the ungodly decrees that are being spewed out as legislation and “promises” that are being spoken out without much thought to the future consequences. If there was any time that the nation needed to fast and pray, now is the time.
The war is indeed very real people. Unfortunately, the church also has a lot of people operating in witchcraft within their four walls in that it has failed to combat the Jezebellian spirits, the Leviathan spirits, the Haman spirits, etc etc effectively because there is a breach within the Church in the leadership that continues to carry on in apostasy. I am not saying that every Church in the world is like this, but what one church fails to do effects the entire Body of Christ. The Catholic Church and some of the churches in North America and Europe need to wake up and realize that you can’t fight a war outside your walls, if you are already subdued from the enemies within. I could name many more spirits, but the most important thing to understand here is that the Church is a microcosm of what is happening in the world in the grand scheme of things. The apostasy that allows for child sexual abuse, adultery, homosexual affairs, physical abuse, spiritual abuses etc etc in the Church has opened the doors in the realm of the world for such things to be legalized into the land. That is why the Body of Christ needs to wake up! Spiritual war-faring churches need to get serious and consider that if you can’t kick out the stuff in your own house…how can you battle with things outside your own house? What I mean to say is that if you can’t deal with the issues inside the church….then how can a Church deal with spirits that are at a political level? You can only do this when you teach the Church to pray effectively to expose the sin within and then dealing with it with a spirit of love that does correct, rebuke, and train people into the path of righteousness (2 Timothy 3:15-16). It’s one thing to get people to pray as one body…but an effective Spiritual War-faring church needs to learn more about target prayers. They need to learn strategic methods of prayer that hits the spiritual wickedness that lurks in high places and for God to expose that which hides in the dark.
Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Repentance is key, Humility is key, Forgiveness is key, Healing and Deliverance is Key but now it’s time to get on the offensive and start decreeing and declaring as one voice for change that shifts all the evil decrees that are being spoken into being to become nullified so that the Hand of God moves towards our favor.
The Church should not keep their mouths shut…we should speak up. There is so much I want to say on the same topic, but I think I’ll stop here for now. As a final note, I totally recommend getting Bishop Bloomers new book Witchcraft in the Pews to get read up and girded up for spiritual warfare because we need to get stronger as Christians for the coming days if we want to remain effective in Spiritual Warfare. If you don’t know how to pray effectively, read books on prayer to strengthen yourself. Where you lack knowledge to perform a duty requires you to seek out information actively so that you can operate with wisdom. If people want to sit idly and remain complacent in their prayer lives, then I’ll say that you have no right to speak up about anything if you aren’t actively involved in becoming a solution to a problem.
A lot of times trouble can be avoided by implementation of preventative measures to ensure low risk to exposure to threats of harm, which is something companies do all the time. They plan ahead strategically to avoid problems by calculating risks. This is called Risk Management. Unfortunately, the body of Christ is too busy working on Damage control to work on Risk Management. Christians need to do the same thing…calculate risks and start to plan ahead of time before problems start to surface. The voice of the Christians should always be loud…but we are drowning in complacency and ignorance which has allowed open doors that should have remained shut on the land to become open. As intercessors we need to learn to be sensitive about such issues and learn to prepare by remaining on the offensive to be effective when it comes to defensive spiritual warfare. Let’s start to wisen up and study David so that we can be effective in battle just like he was. The key to effective Spiritual Warfare prayer is in the analysis of the Champions in the Bible. Read up on what they did to overcome the schemes of their enemy(ies) so that you can overcome yours.

Well to end off this post, I have a song from Dietrick Haddon called This Church. When I heard this song I absolutely fell in love with it. Actually, I love a lot of songs from his new album. I pray that it ministers to you today. God Bless you Everybody.
Fan or Follower? – Can You Hear God’s Voice?
So today I have another video today to get us thinking about our walk in the Lord. Being Christian doesn’t win us any medals, popularity contests or any brownie points, but it does gain us an eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when we seriously consider what it means to be a Follower. There are times when people look at me wierdly when I say I heard this and that from the Lord as if to say I’m some kind of liar…my question to them would be… Do you hear from the Lord? and if so, What have you heard from the Lord???? If not…why not?
John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
I know when God is talking to me if He’s convicting me of a bad habit that I need to curb, or if He points out areas of Sin that I need to confess and repent about. I also Hear from Him when He gives me warnings about certain situations or about people, and I also Hear from the Lord when He tells me that He loves me. I believe in His voice through the workings of the Helper who is the Holy Spirit. I admit that there are times I ignore Him obviously because of stubborness and pride, but I know His voice because He is the Counselor of my soul. I’m not going to act like I’m a saint all the time becuase I have my own struggles to deal with and I’m not going to remain in denial of that just so I can sleep well at night. Sometimes the Lord tells me things I don’t want to hear but He loves me enough to tell me the TRUTH. The Truth isn’t always easy to swallow, but I’d rather be told the truth than swim in a pool of lies. Such a pool leads to drowning, but God always throws us the Life Jacket to pull us out of that pool of regrets with His TRUTH.
Jesus is our Saviour in every sense of the Word and that is why when we Follow Him, we must purpose to Hear Him when He talks to us through the Holy Spirit. This is how we come to reverentially Fear the name of the Lord. Sin separates us and deafens our ears but REPENTANCE sharpens our hearing and discernment as it also reconciles us to Hear attentively to what the Lord is saying to us through the Holy Spirit.
Ask yourself…Can you Hear the Lord speak to You when He tells you something through people, signs, wonders, confirmations and various other ways and methods? If God can use a Donkey to get Balaams attention (Numbers 22), God will and can use anything to get our attention, but it’s up to us to purpose to recognize when the Lord is in fact talking to us through His methods to convict our Spirit to yield to the Truth of His Word.
Everybodies relationship is different in their walk with the Lord since some people are at different stages, but I am convinced that as we continously learn to Follow the Lord whole-heartedly, we must be able to hear His voice. If we cannot hear Him, then certain things are happening in our lives to prevent us from following our Lord Jesus Christ whole heartedly. We must really search deep and ask ourselves…why do we find it hard to follow God fully?
Check this video out and think about what it means to Follow Christ rather than being a mere Fan of Christ. Those who follow will learn to hear the Lord’s Voice and will answer to His call. Stay Blessed Everybody!
I also have a song to get you going today from Ramiyah called Turn it Out. It’ll definitely bless you today!

Join the Garden of the True Vine and become a Vessel of Honor for God
Today, I want to give you some encouragement. We can’t determine where we will be born and under what circumstances will the environement we are born in shape our lives because such things are beyond our control. Despite that, just remember that your past doesn’t determine your future. Your future is dependent on where you want to plant yourself after all is said and done for the next generations that follow after you. We are all choice-driven beings and what I want to encourage is for all of us to purpose to be planted in God’s Garden. JESUS is the True Vine and in His garden, everything flourishes, everything yields fruit when we remain anchored in Christ.
John 15:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV)
The True Vine
15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
Notice that each branch (which is us) goes through a pruning stage (through trials and testing) to cut off the things that prevent us from progressing and being fruitful in our lives. We all need to be pruned if we want to be fruitful and multliply (Genesis 1:22; Genesis 1:28; Genesis 9:1). When we allow Father God, who is our vinedresser to do what He needs to do with us in order for us to become a fruitful branch, we shall prosper by the Faith we put in allowing Him to prune the things in our lives that prevent us from being fruitful. Pruning requires us to go through periods of trials and testing. I know I don’t enjoy the whole pruning process personally, but I have seen that through some of thing things I’ve been through, there is a greater satisfaction in knowing how much one can endure in order to reap a greater harvest of Gods righteousness in our lives. God is AWESOME! The Word of God is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12) and when we live and eat of it daily, we reap a harvest of God’s Word in our lives. His desire is to prosper us (Jeremiah 29:11) so we need to be fruitful and multiply in our lives through our families, our workplaces, and in all the areas that are tied to our callings in life in order for us to reach our full potential and fulfill our destinies.
You will have those in the Body of Christ that are the type of branch that do not bear fruit and are cast away as a consequence, because it isn’t enough to be hanging out in church everybody. You’ve got to be actively participating in the Body of Christ and living out your faith daily. Those branches that attend church but refuse to be pruned, dry up and wither and are of no use but to be broken off the vine and cast away. That is why I stress that it is important to meditate on the Word and live it out. Allow yourself to be pruned by the Vinedresser. Do not be a rebellious branch that refuses to be pruned. You cannot bear fruit if you are rebellious. Attending church isn’t the same thing as living in the Body of Christ by exercising your Faith in action. It is not enough to be a hearer of the Word and not be a doer of it.
Hear and Do, Believe and Trust God, Obey and Act. <—- this is key
Are you part of God’s Garden?
Will you Join God’s garden and allow Him to prune you according to His Will and Purpose by design?
Do not be fooled nor deceived, for the Lord knows who among us is a fruitful branch from an unfruitful one in His Vineyard based on the level of Faith and willingess of the ones who desire to be Pruned in order to do a great work in Him. The Gardener knows what branches will produce a harvest and cuts off those that will not. This is quite serious folks. Be planted in Gods Garden and allow him to Prune you.
When you allow the Lord to prune you, you will become a Vessel of honor for His Great name sake.
The question is Will you become a Vessel of Honor for God? Think about it and work on it.
19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ[a] depart from iniquity.”
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
I have a short clip called Roots to encourage you today. Think about your past roots and consider that your past doesn’t determine your future. Seek to be rooted in God’s Word and remain planted in God’s Garden.
I have another song for you today to encourage you by Terrell King called You Will Win. Stay Blessed today everybody!
Scriptures to Meditate
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Doers—Not Hearers Only
21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
