I am still trying to get back into the habit of writing but it’s going to take me a bit more time since I’ve been preparing for a fundraising event. The one thing that God has been talking to me lately is about living the “blameless” lifestyle as a Christian.
Granted, we all struggle with weaknesses because we wrestle with our sinful nature and that is understandable, but what God was talking to me about is about living a life with INTERGRITY and HUMILITY.
If we fear God, we must be a type of people that do not stir up trouble or strife in the lives of others. We have to live a life where no one can say “this person did me wrong”. We have to be strong enough to say “I am sorry” and “I was wrong”. The moment we cannot say these words, is when we have the problem of PRIDEin our lives. We must do a serious heart check in order to remain in “right-standing”before the King of kings and the righteous judge.
Do not give room for the Accuser to have a case against you.
We cannot be people causing our brothers or sisters to stumble because of our attitude. We must be careful that we do not create an atmosphere in which the devil will have a case built up against you to accuse you before the King of kings giving him the permission to torment your life.
In the eyes of the Lord we must be “Blameless”.
Recently I wrote on my Facebook page about an offering that is not accepted by God in reference to Matthew 5:23-25. Believe me, this principle is still in action today and yet God has been talking to me about how people worship Him in vainwhen still being disobedient to simple principles.
In my Facebook page I wrote:
There is an offering that is not acceptable to God. When we hurt our brothers and sisters and do not make it right, God will not accept your tithe or offering until you have made it right with them. You must fear God so much that you seek to make it right with your brother or sister. Some people’s blessings are bound up because they have disobeyed this one simple principle and thus, tithe and offer in vain hoping things will change. Go back and make it right and then come back to the alter with your offering and God will bless the works of your hands.
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
Let us not toy with our lives and fool ourselves. We have to do right and live right and admit our faults and failures. Sometimes it’s not always about being “right”all the time; it’s about creating an atmosphere of peace with your fellow brothers and sisters which is pleasing and acceptable to God. I’m not saying that you will always agree with one another, but the point is, Peace is what we create by the choices we make and by the attitude we choose to present ourselves with towards others as we operate in the reverential fear of the Lord.
Job was described as “Blameless”. Read the Word and consider what it means to be BLAMELESS before the Lord.
LIVE RIGHT, DO RIGHT, SPEAK RIGHT, and BELIEVE RIGHT. <— this is the key to remaining BLAMELESS.
I have a song that is in my spirit from 21:03 called In Your Presence. May this song bless your spirit today. God bless you everybody! :D
I think I’m on spoken word mode. This video I’m sharing really makes you look at where you stand in Christ. It’s one thing to know about God, but it’s another to be in relationship with Him. We can’t have an acquaintance-like relationship with Jesus by knowing Him in Name only and yet ignore Him for who He really is to us; He is our Lord and Savior and King of kings. May this Video help us to search deep within to know where we really stand. It’s amazing how much scripture Shawn Presley used in his spoken word, but the truth is needed to be heard in order to confront that which we try to shove under the carpet.
It’s amazing how much we try not to face ourselves when we say we are walking “in Christ” and yet live jaded lives thinking that God is blind to our acts of omission or commission to sin. In some cases, we Christians act engaged to Christ and yet are divorced from the Father’s love for us for the mere fact that we aren’t living for God wholly. It’s sad to have a part-time Christian faith when really God seeks a full-time marriage commitment of Faith. If we are the Bride of Christ as we so claim, we must no longer portray a mistress status with our King. Let’s dig deep and pray that the Church of Jesus Christ wakes up to see its real face and not live a compromised life swaying like a pendulum with the world’s way of living and start pursuing righteousness for what it is- living in right-standing with Christ. May we confess before God for not really being what we are meant to be in His Eyes which is to be Joint-Heirs with Christ Jesus. We can’t claim to be a powerful church, if we aren’t even plugged-in to the source which is in Christ our solid Rock, our redeemer and foundation of faith. May God help us be the Church that we ought to be and may we as Christians humble ourselves before the King of kings and repent for not being what we should be before Him. Let’s re-align ourselves back to the heart of the Father and seek to live in right-standing with Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, Amen!
Today is rather a short contemplation…hmmmm…maybe more of a question. I was thinking about how people do certain things that trail along the lines of compromise.
How Far is too Far?
I think that some people first ask themselves…. “How far can I go?” , before asking the first question I posed which is “How Far is too Far?”. I think to a large extent, we don’t seem to know how subtle compromiseis in changing our minds about common moral standards which areGODLY STANDARDSthat should be upheld in our conduct through our words, thoughts, actions and deeds. When we fail to uphold Godly standards by compromising with the truth, we open doors to start believing in a lie(s).
Think about it…it’s like starting off by telling a “small ‘white’ lie” to yourself or another until you have to back it up with many “‘black’ lies” (seriously, do lies even have a colour?) to remain convincing, hoping that there is a shade of gray in this whole mess and then hopefully after having done that…you sell off this blatant lieas truth that it becomes soo customized that you yourself begin to believe in the very lie that you have contrived and put together on your own. This is called SELF-DECEPTION. I find this type of thing to be a scary activity that I have seen others participate in it on a regular basis.
Choosing to remain in denial of the truth is choosing to live a lie and believe it too.
This is how people develop a SEARED CONSCIENCE.
The attitudes of those I have witnessed to have such a seared conscienceare rather cold and calculating…that the mere presence of them wreaks of evil.
Like I said in an earlier post…I’ve seen a lot of evil in my day… and what I can tell you is that having seen a person acting on a seared conscience….you can tell when what governs their hearts, their minds and their spirit is utter darkness throughout their conduct.
As Christians, we must be vigilant to keep our conscience clear.
Daily repentance shields us from believing that “gray areas”exist in regarding what is RIGHT and WRONG when the Bible is clear in its guidelines.
King David knew how to keep his conscience clear even though there were many instances where he was tempted to stray from the path of righteousness before God. King David acknowledged his weaknesses and refused to be in denial of his sinful actions especially after being reprimanded by Prophet Nathan over his sin of Adultery with Uriah’s wife Bethsheba. God loved David enough to warn him of his crime through a Prophet to give him a chance to change his ways. David took that chance and repented for his actions even though he reaped some of the things that he had sown because he wanted to keep remaining in right standing before God.
How many of us want to keep remaining in Right Standing with the Lord?
When we sin…we don’t offend the Bible…we offend GOD.However, not many people see it this way, even those that lack the reverential Fear of God will not even blink twice when they run quickly to do evil. This is totally my opinion, you can agree or disagree with it because you are entitled to your own opinion. This is just what I believe to be true.
My dear friends, we must not be deceived of the subtleties of compromise. We must remain vigiliant and stand up for the truth for what it is, even if the truth is unpopular to someone else or even if the truth in its own way offends ourselves. We have to stand for what is right at the end of the day. We cannot afford to sear our conscience….If we do….we will end up like King Saul who didn’t think twice to run quickly to evil. He even went as far as seeking advice from the adversary through the use of a medium rather than seeking God for answers towards what is true which indicates the repercussions for those that pursue a lifestyle that is perpetuated by believing in a lie; one quickly runs to evil for answers, seeking ‘a truth’ from an evil source which is falsehood; a lie; and an idea that is contrary to the truth. When we sear our conscience…we not only start believing in a lie…but we ultimately start seeking how to live and perpetuate that lie to satisfy the desires of the flesh. King Saul’s life ended tragically as his soul was darkened by hatred and blood lust fueled by his arrogance and Pride that even God rejected him from being king of Israel and had replaced him with a humble-spirited young shepherd, little David, who maintained a lifestyle always in pursuit of Holinesswhile struggling with his weaknesses. David pleased God more than Saul ever did.
God abides with us in the Truth. Lies separate us from the Truth and inevitably we get separated from God if we choose to believe in a lie and nurture a contrary spirit that resists the truth and the workings of the HOLY SPIRIT, so heed this warning seriously.
Humility is key… so for those that are thinking “How far can I go?” and “How far is too far?”, I suggest that you stop thinking in this way…and start thinking “What is the right thing for me to do?”. When you contemplate on what is right…you pursue the truth and that is how we remain in right standing. Compromise subtly leads us astray, but when you remember this question: “What is the right thing for me to do?” you will be brought back on the right path that leaves no room for gray areas. Pursue the truth with much fear and trembling everybody and leave no room for self-deception to creep in, AMEN!
1 John 2:24
[ Let Truth Abide in You ] Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
1 John 3:24
[ The Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Error ] Now he who keeps His commandments abidesinHim, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
[ TheTruth Shall Make You Free ] Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abideinMy word, you are My disciples indeed.
I hope you all are having a beautiful Friday :) . It’s starting to heat up out there so please refer back to my summer survival kit on what to do to prevent heat stroke and other summer related illnesses that some people encounter during heat waves. It is important to remain hydrated so drink up an ocean of water (ok…I’m exaggerating but please drink a lot of water ok people! :D ).
So today I want to talk about God’s faithfulness. God’s faithfulness is precious to us because He always keeps His promises. In knowing that we have a God that is NOT a man that He should lie, we must learn to walk in the same level of faith in that when He says that He will never leave us nor forsake us…we in return must never leave Him and forsake Him. We can talk about “well I’m only human…blah…blah… blah…excuse after excuse” to explain why we sometime falter in our Faith, but at the end of the day…we are not merely Human…we are Children of the Most High God. We enjoy the idea that He is forgiving, faithful, and patient…but are we???
I thought about that in regards to myself and realize that I seriously need to increase my Faith level to come to that place where I can truly say “I will never leave you nor forsake you my God”. You must be thinking….”Oh yea of little faith!!!”…but again I say, “Have you walked a mile in my shoes?” from a previous post written about hindrances to prayer. When I went through a trial that tested my loyalty and faith to God so early in my salvation, it was then that I realized that honestly it’s so easy for us to turn away given the right amount of pressure. You’ve got to ask yourself…“What will it take for you to fall away from the Lord?” It’s easy to claim to “love Him” when things are going good…but what if all of a sudden calamity strikes us…what then of our Faith? The reason why I’m writing this is so that we don’t walk around in self-deception thinking that we have attained a high level of faith and that we will never encounter a time where that one decision to remain in God or forsake the Lord will be put to the test. I call such a test of faith to beThe Job Test of Faith(Job 1-3) where everything you hold dear gets touched by the devil to test your level of love and faith for the Lord. Be Sober and be viligilant, for this is no easy test…and unfortunately not everyone will pass it and those who claim to “love the Lord”, shall be tested. For those that endure the trial and still come out praising God, I say kudos to you and God bless you because your faith can withstand such a fiery trial and it just goes to show, that if you can do it, surely we all are capable of withstanding any test. Easier said than done but it’s worth thinking about it now rather than later.
I know that I’m still being tested each day and I take each test as they come. I fail some, I pass some…I also get re-tested <— didn’t see that one coming now did ya. Yes people, you will be retested on failed tests. When you pass the re-tests, you overcome that cycle of insanity, which is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. How many of you can lift your hands and understand what I’m saying? Let me also remind you that we should all know that our lives are a whole big test of Faith. We choose how we are going to pass it or fail it by deciding if we believe in God or not and by living out what we believe. I’ve had my fair share of tests and I can tell you that it’s easy to break down completely and choose to stray away given the right amount of pressure, but the most amazing thing is that even in our weakness, God never chooses to forsake us even though we may choose to do so. God’s love endures literally Forever. I have never met a love like that before, but it is definitely a feat to learn to love like Jesus.
So today, think about increasing your love for God. It’s one thing to learn to love people…but we must learn also how to minister to our God today by loving God and saying it everyday through our prayer life, our praise life and our worship life. As much as we seek affirmation of love and acceptance by people, God also seeks that same level of devotion to Him as well, but because He, like the Holy Spirit is a gentleman, He will not manipulate us or force us to love Him, because He has blessed us with the gift of free willto choose to do so. I have now gotten into the habit of saying “Good morning Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit” and also “Good afternoon” and “Good evening” because it’s something we take for granted. We say it to people all the time but do we say it to our Lord? Do you welcome His presence in your day? The Lord is with us in our entire day and its amazing how we forget Him so easily. We should not forget the Lord our God who sent His Son to save us from the slavery of Sin and redeemed us back into the Kingdom of God through His precious blood. The Lord Jesus sent us The Helper who is the Holy Spirit and He yearns to converse with us, but are we inclined to Hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to “us” the Churches???? Let us love on God today and remember that His faithfullness in us is what we must demonstrate back to Him in return. God Bless you everybody and have a blessed Weekend!
I have 2 songs by Jesus Culture called Where You Go I Go and You Won’t Relent ( I know I’ve posted this song before but I love it :D ) . I figured I’d bless y’all with sounds of worship. I pray that these songs minister to your spirit today. God bless you everybody!

“God is notaman, that Heshouldlie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
1 Chronicles 16:34
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For Hismercyenduresforever.
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life.
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
But theHelper, theHolySpirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you
Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
“Hewhohasanear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’
Today’s meditation comes from the book of James 3: 13-18 (NKJV) regarding Heavenly versus Demonic Wisdom.
Heavenly Versus Demonic Wisdom
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
The Wisdom that we receive from the Lord comes to us through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is of course the authentic voice of Godthat guides us and reveals the mysteries of the Bible (God’s Word) by removing the scales off our eyes to understand what God is saying to us. When we seek the truth with a pure heart, we increase in divine wisdom and knowledge as we yield to the authority of the Holy Spirit. However, to every authentic thing there is always a counterfeit. When you look at the passage you will also understand the workings of those that do not abide by the workings of the Holy Spiritoperate by demonic wisdom which is of a contrary spirit. It makes you question, by what spirit do people follow when they do the things that they do?
The wisdom of the Holy Spirit comes from Heaven as mentioned in v.17 and the wisdom that is demonic in nature is of an earthly origin. In v.16 it tells us that where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there and the previous verse reveals that such wisdom is earthly, sensual and demonic.
When I was mediating on this I thought to myself that as intercessors it is imperative that we learn how to discern the spirit(s)of people if we are operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. True wisdom reveals that which is right and wrong and when we are unsure, the Holy Spirit is able to show us what is right and wrong by convicting our spirit man with the TRUTH. Especially in areas regarding Healing and Deliverance ministry, we must always yield to the guidance of the Holy Spiritin order to discern whether or not a person is either following the Holy Spirit or following a different/contrary spirit in order to minister to them effectively.
They only way to discern the type of spirit a person follows is by analyzing their fruit as mentioned on v. 18 where it states that Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. In the NIV Bible the same verse (v 18) states that: Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is Peace, that brings about righteousness whereas that which is not of the Holy Spirit, brings about wrath and sinwhich is characteristically demonic in nature. The Holy Spiritis also noted to be gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and bears good fruits whereas the opposite which is of a demonic spiritis partial and full of hypocrisy if you look at v.17.
When you see the differences in the type of wisdom derived from these two types of Spirits, it is clear that we need to operate with the characteristics of that of the Holy Spirit in order to bear Good Fruit. Those that operate in a self-seeking manner operate with a spirit that is contrary to the wisdom provided by the Holy Spirit and is noted to be evil in origin in v.16. Basically, it’s either we yield to the virtues of the Holy Spirit’s wisdom in order to walk in righteousness, or we heed to ungodly counsel which is of a contrary demonic spirit. As Children of the Most High God, we ought to walk in the Spirit and yield to the counsel of the Holy Spiritif we want to reap a harvest of righteousness in our lives as stated in James 3:18. Let’s walk in Holiness and learn to discern the difference between these two wisdomsso that we are not so easily deceived or seduced into walking a path that is ungodly in nature consequentially causing us to sin continually, by studying the Word of God and obeying the voice of the Holy Spiritto allow the TRUTH to remain in us, AMEN. Let’s study more on the wisdom of the Holy Spirit and walk in the Spirit rather than in the Flesh.
I have a song here to minister to you from Hillsongs United called A Beautiful Exchange. I pray that it bless you today.God Bless you Everybody!

1 Corinthians 12:6-11
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same[a] Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the HolyOne is understanding.
But the wisdom that is fromabove is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
For David himself said by the HolySpirit: ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’
But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the HolySpirit.
For the HolySpirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
But the Helper, the HolySpirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lieto the HolySpirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?
And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the HolySpirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peaceand joy in the HolySpirit.
1 Corinthians 12:3
Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the HolySpirit.
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.[a]
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
[ Maintain Your Life with God ] But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the HolySpirit,
I have this cool clip just to get us thinking today. If anything, we must learn to Fear God more than our inadequacies, friends, family and people in general. We tend to over exalt people and our weaknesses over the knowledge of God that we are always in a battle to re-position our focus back towards God. God is the center or our world and that’s where He should remain in our hearts. We must remember Him at all times with everything that we do. Check this video today and may it bless you today Everybody!

Wow is it ever so hot today? I still feel under the weather so please keep me in prayer everyone.
Well, today I want to touch on a subject that came across as interesting for those of us engaged in Spiritual Warfare. I watched a video that a friend of mine forwarded to me of Pastor Benny Hinn talking to Bishop George Bloomer about his new book called Witchcraft in the Pews. I just heard about the book recently but I’m gonna recommend it here that y’all go and get it. I am so excited to get the book because I’m interested in spiritual warfare since I’m always engaged in it everyday. As intercessors, I think it should be our prerogative to enhance our prayer lives if we want to be an effective spiritual war-faring church. I will post the videos below since they are in 2 parts, but when I watched them I can tell you that so many things started to reel in my mind. As a church we are all called to intercede and engage in Spiritual Warfare but how many people understand what type of warfare that they are in and will encounter? Check out these videos before I continue on with the subject.
Spiritual warfare isn’t so much dealing with spirits and demons as it is with dealing with people. Jesus was always engaged in spiritual warfare in His ministry not by “demonic spirits” all the time but by people who tried to intimidate Him, manipulate Him, and in different instances tried to dominate Him with their accusations, lies, back-biting and with their constant harassment trying to discredit his identity as the Messiah. Obviously, when you are anointed, you will attract adverse people who operate with a witchcraft spirit.
David is the best example of what it means to combat a witchcraft spirit when you look at the life of Saul. Saul was out for David’s blood in a way that isn’t normal for a person. He wasn’t just jealous of David, he hated David with a passion because the divine favour of the Lord was upon Him and had left Saul because of his rebellious behaviour (1 Samuel 15:22-24). As a consequence of Saul’s rebellion,Prophet Samuel had been commissioned by God to anoint David to become the next King of Israel because David was God’s choice to whom was elected because of the type of heart David had towards his love for the Lord. David is indeed special because the weight of Glory that was upon his head was the kind that every time David went into battle, he would always win because He had the favour of God on His side. David is a champion of Spiritual warfareliterally because his success in battles were a result of his Reverential Fear of the Lord (Wisdom) and his level of Obedience to God was indeed stellar and characteristic of his humility. We must learn what it means to be a David in order to understand how to engage in everyday battles effectively with people we encounter on a daily basis with wisdom and discernment.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
This is something I am sensing greatly in my spirit right now and I know some people won’t like what I have to say but I have no fear in saying what needs to be said.
The Alarm bells are ringing in the wake of ungodly decrees being spoken into the atmosphere by political leaders that are pronouncing changes in laws that will in effect, legalize such perversions that deviate from biblical principles. We are at a critical time this year and a lot of things need to be addressed without fear because the days are becoming evil.
Some church leaders are able to do this without fear because they reverence God more than people (Thank GOD), while other leaders are too tolerant and afraid to address these hot issues because they don’t want to “offend anybody”all because they fear people more than God. My friends….Saul preferred to please people rather than offend them with the righteousness of God and it is that type of Saul-likeattitude that prophet Samuel had no choice but to tell it to him like it is and call out on the fact that Saul’s rebellious attitude is as the sin of Witchcraft and as a consequence of his behaviour, God had rejected him from being KING. This isn’t a mystery here folks. There will be some serious dethroning of Sauls this year as the Davids rise up. Yes, the Davids will rise up in this year of Divine Government and those that operate like Saul will be judged accordingly to the measure of their rebelliousness. I know what I am saying sounds bold, but I really believe this will happen this year and this is what I am hearing in my spirit. We cannot afford to be people-pleasing like Saul at the expense of our relationship toward our obedience to God. We have to Fear God more than man and if it means offending some folks then so be it. Obedience is better than people-pleasing.
Witchcraft isn’t so much potions and hexes as some people would have it. Those that practice voodoo and the black arts are into the occult. Divination of spirits which also include those that call on the dead and so on are another form of witchcraft that is occult related, but the witchcraft I am referring to today is of the kind whereby people operate with arebellious spiritthrough the use of intimidation, manipulation, domination and control of another persons will against their own. This is very much like a SAUL-like spirit.Anything that targets at controlling someones will against their own is witchcraft. You will be surprised how rampant it is in your families where you have at least one controlling member(or members) in the family that you don’t like that somehow call the shots on how and who you should marry, how many kids you should have and seek to control the lives of other members through coercive actions and intimidation tactics that break peoples spirit, break peoples relationships and destroy families altogether. Such people are also found in the Church *surprise surprise* who attempt to manipulate members in the congregation or in ministries to obey them using spiritual manipulation by quoting scriptures out of context to suit their agenda to drive people with guilt to perform a specific task, or coerce them to sin rather than convict people with the Word to change their ways by addressing sin that leads to repentance and reconciliation. These are classified as wolves in sheep’s clothing, and we can go as far up as the people involved in the political realm who do the same exact thing but they use the law to control the masses. When I see what is going on in the United States right now, especially in the political arena…I can tell you for sure that there is a heavy unleash of the Witchcraft spirit in the nation that is allowing for open doors of perversion by the ungodly decrees that are being spewed out as legislation and “promises” that are being spoken out without much thought to the future consequences. If there was any time that the nation needed to fast and pray, now is the time.
The war is indeed very real people. Unfortunately, the church also has a lot of people operating in witchcraft within their four walls in that it has failed to combat the Jezebellian spirits, the Leviathan spirits, the Haman spirits, etc etc effectively because there is a breach within the Church in the leadership that continues to carry on in apostasy. I am not saying that every Church in the world is like this, but what one church fails to do effects the entire Body of Christ. The Catholic Church and some of the churches in North America and Europe need to wake up and realize that you can’t fight a war outside your walls, if you are already subdued from the enemies within. I could name many more spirits, but the most important thing to understand here is that the Church is a microcosm of what is happening in the world in the grand scheme of things. The apostasy that allows for child sexual abuse, adultery, homosexual affairs, physical abuse, spiritual abuses etc etc in the Church has opened the doors in the realm of the world for such things to be legalized into the land. That is why the Body of Christ needs to wake up! Spiritual war-faring churches need to get serious and consider that if you can’t kick out the stuff in your own house…how can you battle with things outside your own house? What I mean to say is that if you can’t deal with the issues inside the church….then how can a Church deal with spirits that are at a political level? You can only do this when you teach the Church to pray effectively to expose the sin within and then dealing with it with a spirit of love that does correct, rebuke, and train people into the path of righteousness (2 Timothy 3:15-16). It’s one thing to get people to pray as one body…but an effective Spiritual War-faring church needs to learn more about target prayers. They need to learn strategic methods of prayer that hits the spiritual wickedness that lurks in high places and for God to expose that which hides in the dark.
For we do not wrestle against fleshandblood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Repentance is key, Humility is key, Forgiveness is key, Healing and Deliverance is Key but now it’s time to get on the offensive and start decreeing and declaring as one voice for change that shifts all the evil decrees that are being spoken into being to become nullified so that the Hand of God moves towards our favor.
The Church should not keep their mouths shut…we should speak up. There is so much I want to say on the same topic, but I think I’ll stop here for now. As a final note, I totally recommend getting Bishop Bloomers new book Witchcraft in the Pewsto get read up and girded up for spiritual warfare because we need to get stronger as Christians for the coming days if we want to remain effective in Spiritual Warfare. If you don’t know how to pray effectively, read books on prayer to strengthen yourself. Where you lack knowledge to perform a duty requires you to seek out information actively so that you can operate with wisdom. If people want to sit idly and remain complacent in their prayer lives, then I’ll say that you have no right to speak up about anything if you aren’t actively involved in becoming a solution to a problem.
A lot of times trouble can be avoided by implementation of preventative measures to ensure low risk to exposure to threats of harm, which is something companies do all the time. They plan ahead strategically to avoid problems by calculating risks. This is called Risk Management. Unfortunately, the body of Christ is too busy working on Damage control to work on Risk Management. Christians need to do the same thing…calculate risks and start to plan ahead of time before problems start to surface. The voice of the Christians should always be loud…but we are drowning in complacency and ignorance which has allowed open doors that should have remained shut on the land to become open. As intercessors we need to learn to be sensitive about such issues and learn to prepare by remaining on the offensive to be effective when it comes to defensive spiritual warfare. Let’s start to wisen up and study David so that we can be effective in battle just like he was. The key to effective Spiritual Warfare prayer is in the analysis of the Champions in the Bible. Read up on what they did to overcome the schemes of their enemy(ies) so that you can overcome yours.
Well to end off this post, I have a song from Dietrick Haddon called This Church. When I heard this song I absolutely fell in love with it. Actually, I love a lot of songs from his new album. I pray that it ministers to you today. God Bless you Everybody.
13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14 The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
So today my meditation is in regards to “What type of seed do we resemble?”
When we meditate on the Word and hear the Word spoken in our Churches or places of Worship, be it at a Sunday service, or at a conference, or Bible cell group meeting or just in your own prayer closet, question how youreceivethe Word of God sown into your life and into your spirit-man.
Do you believe the Bible in Part or do you believe it as a Whole? Or are you one of those that are just plain skeptical and pick and choose what parts of the Bible you like reading?
Friends, we have to be more like the seed planted in fertile soil that is able to take in the Word, Believe the Word and increase in the Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding of the Word and live it out by principle. You can only impart to others when you are able to produce and multiply the knowledge you have of the Word in your life like the seed planted in fertile ground.
Seeds represent POTENTIAL and the plants that grow from these seeds represent CALLING.
There were four types of soil that the Seed fell that represent the result of what happens to that potential when it is planted in those types of soil.
1. The First seed was thrown on the wayside trampled underfoot - They are categorized as those Christians who become unbelievers of the Word. They believed for a time, but later on lost faith along the way rather quickly. They waver in faith too easily and often look for reasons as to why they should not believe in the Word of God as oppose to finding reasons in why they ought to believe in the Word of God. They may have a serious stronghold of unbelief in their lives in regards to the Word.
2. The Second seed was thrown on the stony ground eaten by birds- They are categorized as the Christians who believe in the Word for a time but because they lack the discipline to remain grounded in the Word in their conduct so that when trouble comes, they who are not grounded in the Word immediately fall away from basic principles and sin as a consequence that stems from unbelief. If you aren’t rooted in the Word, you leave way too much room for doubt to creep into your mind that causes unbelief to increase in ones life.
3. The Third seed was thrown in the thorns choked by the weeds - I categorize these as those that live by double standards. They are hearers of the Word but are not doers because they are easily enticed to satisfy their fleshy desires and do not walk in the Spirit but always according to the flesh. This is what it means to be a double-minded man…he is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8) and therefore, unfruitful in the Word, because their lives don’t line up with the Word. They can’t walk by faith when they continuously choose to walk by sight. Seeing is not believing, believing is seeing.
4. The Fourth seed was thrown on fertile ground that grew into healthy plants that matured during harvest time – These are people who believe in the Word of God by faith and practice what they believe. They operate by biblical standards and maintain the standards in their conduct. They are hearers that do. When they increase in the revelation of the Word, they are able to impart to others and multiply others to become believers. This is the seed we should all aspire to be. When you increase in Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding in the Word of God and live by principle, you will be able to share your faith more effectively and reap a harvest of believers easily because of the measure of faith within you, the believer.
Only BELIEVERS can increase BELIEVERS by their measure of FAITH.
The questions I have today are …
If we are all seeds and each seed represents potential, and the plant that grows from the seed represents calling, what soil are we in right now to birth our calling?
When the seed germinates that is when our potential now becomes activated by our calling.
If we are not in our calling, then we must assess our lives and consider…what soil are we in right now?
Is it the wayside soil?
The stony ground soil?
The thorny soil?
or the fertile soil?
Ask yourself these questions today and consider that some people who are not operating in their calling maybe in the wrong soil. Become rooted in the Word and allow yourself to receive the Word like the seed sown in fertile ground. Don’t be a passive church goer and become a hearer that does what the Word of God expects of them.
I have a lovely song to finish off this meditation. It’s by Israel Houghton and New Breed called “Away, To Worship you I Live”
Stay Blessed Everybody!
Scriptures to Meditate
James 3:18 (NIV)
18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
2 Corinthians 9:10
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
As you know I love the book of Proverbs and thought that since I wrote a post regarding the Watchman’s Duty – Insight to prophetic Intercession, I think I want to start cultivating divine wisdom as one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Wisdom is so important because it helps us sharpen our discernment and the only way to grow in it is to seek it (Matthew 7:7). Read books, seek wise mentors that build you and challenge you, make it a mission to find knowledge like it was your last meal on this earth. Seek these things diligently and you shall find the answers that you are looking for in your daily affairs, but you won’t be able to find these things if you are sitting on your derriere. I have put a scripture below that I think I’ll start using when I pray for wisdom and meditate on it and seek God for increase. I like sharing stuff like this and maybe you might want to pray too if you want to increase in this area which is one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8). I highlight things that stick out to me on purpose to maintain the focus of what to find important as you read the scripture and basically as a means of targeting what is needed in order for the Lord to fulfill the petition. You do your part and God finishes the rest since He is the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Remember: you can only increase in wisdom according to the proportion of your Faith level, so seek to increase your FAITH in order to gain a high level of Wisdom.
Proverbs 2: 1-22 (NKJV)
The Value of Wisdom
1 My son, if you receive my words,
And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5Then you will understand the fear of the LORD,
And find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; 8He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints. 9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. 10 When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, 11Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,
12 To deliver you from the way of evil,
From the man who speaks perverse things, 13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness
To walk in the ways of darkness; 14 Who rejoice in doing evil, And delight in the perversity of the wicked; 15 Whose ways are crooked,
And who are devious in their paths; 16 To deliver
you from the immoral woman,
From the seductress who flatters with her words, 17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth,
And forgets the covenant of her God. 18For her house leads down to death,
And her paths to the dead;
19 None who go to her return,
Nor do they regain the paths of life— 20 So you may walk in the way of goodness,
And keep to the paths of righteousness. 21 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it; 22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth,
And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.
