These Shocking Photos Show The Scars You Can’t Normally See. And They’re Horrifying.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue and we must learn not to use damaging words that impact others. Disclaimer: These images are pretty graphic but it drives the point across very well. Let us learn to use words that build other and not break them.

PhotographerRichard Johnson, who has himself suffered from the worst kind of verbal abuse, created a series of photos to illustrate their incredibly harmful effect.  These images, created for theWeapon of Choice Project, are important because they remind us that the terms we throw out in moments of anger or frustration can be just as damaging as physical abuse.

CAUTION!: The photos below feature victims and strong terms of emotional, sexual and verbal abuse.

Have Your Way Lord

Hi Everybody,

I’m just in the mood to bask in worshiping God today and had to share this awesome song by Shana Wilson called Have Your Way. There are times when we just need to cut the noise and prostrate ourselves before God and seek Him to just Have His way with us. I worship Him just because He is God. Take time out of your day to Give God Glory. He deserves our praise today because He is worthy. Give Glory due His name, Amen!

May this Song uplift your spirit today, in Jesus Holy and Might Name I pray, Amen! :)

Psalm 148:14

And He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints— Of the children ofIsrael, A people near to Him. Praise the Lord!
1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praiseof Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Ezra 3:11

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord: “For He is good, For Hismercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when theypraised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

What Type of Soil Are You?

I believe this needs a repost since we are in a season where Faith is going to spread like fire this year. Ensure that you are in the right soil to receive your harvest this year.

Mark 4:13-20

The Parable of the Sower Explained

13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14 The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world

We are VICTORIOUS!

Happy Sunday Everybody!

I just had to post this song by Donnie McClurkin feat. Tye Tribbett called We are Victorious!

God has made us to be winners! This Year, is a year of breakthrough, a year of breaking barriers, breaking chains, breaking limitations and anything that hindered your blessings and dreams! God is in the mood of building a Victorious Church this year that won’t back down, that won’t focus on things by what they see, but will walk by faith, act by faith and move by Faith since God is the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Romans 10:17

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
looking unto Jesus, the authorand finisher of
our faith,
who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Listen to this Song, let it fill your Spirit today and be Blessed!  God bless you everybody! :D

He Did it for You

Hi Everybody!

I know easter has already passed, but I felt that as I saw this video today, we must remember that Christ redeemed us at a price. He did all that He was predestined to do to bring us back to the Father. He laid down His life for you…No simple man can do what Christ did for all of humanity. All Jesus asks of us today is to now walk BLAMELESSLY.

Jesus did not lay down His life for all of us and then  resurrect Himself in vain. His plan was to reunite us back to the Father and to reconcile and  restore our authority as joint-heirs of the King of kings. Through Jesus’ blood we have access granted back into the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us rejoice and remember that He did it all for you.

Today, think about what the cross means to you. Jesus was blameless and is blameless, now we too must walk blamelessly before the Father and seek to do right. May this video bless your spirit today. God bless you everybody!

Deuteronomy 18:13

You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.

2 Samuel 22:26

“With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless;
Job 1:8

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
Psalm 37:37

Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.
Proverbs 2:21

For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it;
Proverbs 28:18

Whoever walks blamelessly will be saved, But he who is perverse in his ways will suddenly fall.
Philippians 2:15

that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
2 Peter 3:14

Be Steadfast ] Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

A Modern Day Paul in Iran

A Modern Day Paul in Iran

Before he became a believer, the Apostle Paul dragged Christians out of their houses to imprison or kill them. A modern day Iranian named Taher was no better; he even threatened to kill his own family because they became Christians. Like Paul, he received a vision of the Lord that turned his life upside down.

Taher was the last one anyone expected to convert to Christianity. He was well respected as a Haji, a pilgrim who had made the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. His wife was a Haji-eh; she had also made the pilgrimage. So when his daughter came to Christ, Taher was very angry. When his wife became a believer in Christ, he grew even angrier. When even his son turned his back on Islam and accepted Christ, his anger turned to rage.

He tried to force his family back into Islam in every way he could. He quoted the Koran; he forbade them to visit the church; he beat them; and he threatened to inform the secret police. At one point he even threatened to kill them with his bare hands. His efforts were to no avail. His family didn’t leave Christ; instead they left him and fled abroad.

After the initial anger over his family’s flight subsided, Taher began to feel lonely. In his growing despair, he memorized Koran verses and focused on Allah, whom he served so passionately. “Please show me your face,” he begged. The resounding silence made him doubt. What if this god he was serving didn’t exist after all and his family was right? He didn’t know if he should believe Allah or Jesus, the Bible or the Koran. In desperation he cried out, “I will believe in the God who reveals Himself to me.”

The living God answered his prayers through a dream. In his dream, a man riding a donkey came toward him. He had never seen the man before, but the man hugged him and said, “I will clean you from all your sins; you are free. I will give you rest. Believe in me.” Taher asked, “But what will happen if I sin again?” The man on the donkey replied with the same words, “I will clean all your sins.” Then the man on the donkey left, leaving Taher dumbfounded. Another man approached him in his dream. “Do you know the man on the donkey?” the man asked. “No, I don’t, Taher replied. “He is Jesus Christ,” the man said. “He cleans your sins.”

Taher woke up and mulled over the dream. When he went back to sleep, the same dream played before him. Waking up a second time, he became afraid. He had served Allah for 45 years. He was a Haji. How could he leave Islam? But when he finally fell asleep again, he had the same dream a third time. Waking up from this third dream, he could not escape the conviction that Jesus Christ was the only true God.

Taher was now convinced that Jesus is the true God, but he was unsure what he should do next. Everyone in the church knew what he had done to his family, but he realized that he had to visit the church he had forbidden his family to attend, the only place he knew that could tell him more about this man on the donkey. He cautiously entered the church. The Christians present were astonished and at the same time afraid. Wasn’t he the man that threatened to kill his own wife, son and daughter because they accepted Christ? One of the church leaders stepped forward. “How can I help you?” he asked. The answer was unexpected. “I want to pray, go to church and give my life to Christ,” Taher said, “but I don’t know how.” The leader was amazed and unsure if he should trust Taher; he could be a government spy. “I saw Jesus in a dream, I saw his face!” Taher explained.

As time went by, the church leaders started trusting him. Taher was like a baby: eager to learn more and more about Christ. After a discipleship period, he quickly became involved in ministry work, risking his life for Jesus. When his family, who had been praying for him ever since they left, heard of the transformation in Taher’s life, they praised God for answering their prayers and happily welcomed Taher back into the family. Taher now lives abroad with his family, rejoicing that they can worship together without fear.

Father, we stand in awe at how You drew Taher to Yourself out of the darkness of sin and false religion, out of persecution of Your church. We praise You that You have raised him up to know You, to have a new heart, to be strengthened through Your Word and to be reunited with the family he almost destroyed. Thank You that they are living in religious freedom now, gathering as a family with the saints to worship You freely in Spirit and in truth. We pray for those left behind to nurture and disciple others in Iran who come to faith in Christ. We pray Your protection over them as You grow Your church there. And we pray for the day when all Christians in Iran can gather freely to worship You. In the name of Jesus who brings spiritual freedom to the captives. Amen.
