Personal Meditation

Father of all Fathers

Hi Everybody,

Happy Fathers Day!

I know it’s technically tomorrow, but isn’t fathers day everyday for those that have children, and for all of us who have a Father in Christ Jesus? As Christians we are no longer orphans, but adopted Sons and Daughters of The Father of fathers who is the Most High God.

This Post is a tribute to all the Fathers who have sacrificed so much to be who they are to their children: Protector, Provider, Security, Fighter, Believer, Example of Christ’s love, Teachers, Preachers, Evangelists, Prophets, Defenders, Strength and Advocates, etc… there is so much that a Father is to a child, and although there exist children out there who are fatherless, I praise God for being all these things even for those children.

I remember this song sung by Blackstreet called Finally that I’d like to share here with y’all. God is such an amazing God and Father to all fathers who are on Earth. Let us Bless the Lord with all our hearts and let our praise continually be in our Mouths. May this Song bless your spirit today!

Bondage Breaking Faith: THE KEY OF DAVID!

thumb.php

Hi Everybody!

Hope you are having an awesome weekend! Well, I’m in the mood for some praise and worship! Whoohooooo! The song I have today is the kind that will keep your head up by J.Moss! If you didn’t feel joy today, this song will uplift your spirit and make you dance!

When I think of David in the Bible and all the stuff he had to endure before he  became King of Israel, he wrote so many psalms to God to keep His focus on who it was that gave Him Strength when he was weak; Who gave him joy in times of depression; Who gave him hope even in the most dismal situations he had encountered while Saul was seeking him out to destroy him. David had a lot of praise to give to the Lord despite all the things that he was going through and this is all evidenced in the book of psalms. The question I have for you today is: Do you give Praise to God everyday no matter what you are going through? I know that even in my present situation I have things that seem like it’s enough to throw in the towel, but I want to be strong like David and give God the highest praise regardless of my circumstances.

imagesPraise is the most powerful weapon to assured victory in Jesus in whatever trial you face.

You can praise through your “prison-like situations” just like Paul and Silas did where the jail doors became open miraculously not only for their own freedom but for the freedom for ALL who were in bondage/captivity.

When you believe, your belief in Jesus can cause not only for you to receive deliverance for yourself, but it can cause others around you to experience the same level of deliverance  for themselves as well.

This is the true Power of bondage breaking Faith.

Lately, the Lord has been impressing on my heart to pursue “Bondage Breaking Faith”.

This type of faith is only found in what you do in your PRAISE AND WORSHIP.

Acts 16:25-34

The Philippian Jailer Saved

Paul & Silas in prison25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 3Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

The one thing that keeps us from breakthroughs in life is what we do with our worship. When you stop praising (living a life filled with gratitude unto God) and when you stop worshiping (believing in the one true God, Jesus Christ, and the workings of the Holy Spirit), you set yourself up in a type of  prison that locks up your potentials, it locks up all your promises, it locks up even your victories in a type of prison that cannot be shaken unless you decide to open up your mouth and give the Lord Praise and Worship due unto His name.

Paul and Silas got it. It doesn’t matter what circumstances you are facing right now. Don’t let anybody or anything steal your worship unto God. The true KEY to freedom through whatever trial or issue you face is in your Praise and Worship to God.

You’ve got to be like David who ran after God’s heart through worship. You’ve got to be like Paul and Silas who knew that not even prison bars could stop them from speaking, praising and worshiping the true King of kings. When the King of kings hears this language of faith, He is the one that opens every door for you that no man can shut:

Revelations 3:7-8 (NIV)

The Faithful Church

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:[c] “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it;[d] for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

God is for m eCan we truly fathom the awesomeness of this high level of faith? I can tell you one thing, the Church of Jesus Christ needs to reach this level. We are still in the milk stages of faith...it’s time to pick up our sling shots of faith like David, it’s time stand up in faith like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, it’s time to stand our ground and not be moved until everything that was stolen from us is returned like Moses who stood in the gap for the children of Israel against Pharaoh. “LET MY CHILDREN GO!”. Don’t buckle, don’t give in, and keep on praising until you see the Lord’s desired promise for your life come to pass. You don’t have to accept the world’s opinion of your Faith. You must concern yourself with God’s opinion regarding your Faith in Him. Remember, He is a REWARDER of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Success is built on what and whom you worship by faith. The question is, are we worshiping the right things?

You are a servant to what you worship. I choose to serve my God…and I’d rather be a servant to Him than any other thing in this world because He is where all my hope comes from.

Today, revive your bondage breaking faith in Jesus through your praise and worship unto Him. It is the most powerful weapon to assured victory in whatever trial you face.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP IS THE LANGUAGE OF FAITH. Put this heavenly language in your heart, and begin to see amazing things happen. I strongly believe  in this…the question is do you believe?

Enjoy this Song Everybody and God bless!!!!

Self Productivity vs. Self Pity

godprovides

Hi Everybody!

god-will-never-leave-you-emptyIt’s been a while since I last posted anything on here, and I apologize since it’s been kind of up and down for me lately. For those that haven’t read one of my previous posts, I got laid off from my job recently, and I have been going through the job search phase and keeping my hopes up and keeping my faith alive. I keep speaking positive into my situation, and will believe that this time of unemployment shall pass. Either way, I am enjoying the time I have to spend with the Lord each day. I get to pray and seek His face each day as I wonder what will tomorrow bring?

The way I see it, it’s better to be productive rather than sit around milling about thinking of what could have been, but wasn’t, what should have been, but isn’t. It leads a person down the road to self-pity land which is a place I refuse to go to. Sometimes, when things like a job or a family member or a loved one is snatched away from you, you ran the chance of choosing to operate in one of two attitudes; one that is grateful for the grace of God that is on your life that helps you see each day is in God’s hands, or one that is hateful towards God and despises the joy of others while you are in your own perceived trial or test. One way or another, it’s better to live a life filled with GRATITUDE in your ATTITUDE rather than operate with with DISRESPECT and SELF-ENTITLEMENT.

In a way, no one owes you anything, and people who live humbly are often the ones who live with gratitude in their hearts. Everything in this world belongs to God and God owes us nothing and yet He still gave us His beloved and begotten Son Jesus, to die for us and resurrect for us in fulfillment of the scriptures to save us from the price of living in sin which is death. God wants all of us to have life and LIVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY!

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The greatest way to live in life is not seeking pity from others about your circumstances, but seeking a reason to Give the Lord PRAISE EVERYDAY!!!!

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIM! The question is, do we really believe that and are we truly seeking His face?

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
It is so important to give the Lord Praise everyday, because nothing in this life is secure nor permanent since life is transient and temporary. However, we all have the ability to secure our lives in Jesus Christ by making it a point to live productive lives worshiping our King of kings through acts of kindness, being representatives of His grace in the our daily encounters with people everyday which include the workplace, family, or church. We all have a duty to remain productive.
Self-pity is self-seeking behaviour…and NOT a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Provision
It is a choice to choose to be SELF-PRODUCTIVE (solution focused thinking) versus SELF-PITY (self-seeking, arrogant, prideful and self-entitled behavioural thinking).
CHOOSE to be SELF-PRODUCTIVE because such people find solutions and more answers to questions than those who are self-focused individuals that cannot see past their own mirror and see that the very answers that they seek concerning their trial or situation may very well lie within them.
The Key to remaining SELF-PRODUCTIVE…. is by keeping the right focus. FOCUS ON GOD!
Stop focusing on  yourself if you are because the rewards that God has for His people are only for those who are ACTIVELY and DILIGENTLY SEEKING HIM.
Question: Who are you seeking? What are you seeking? Are you Seeking God?
I believe that the Holy Spirit in me has been stirring me up to say to somebody today who maybe reading this post that:
“You’ve got to stop focusing on yourself and start seeking things of the Kingdom because all your treasures, all your prosperity, all your opportunities are wrapped up in JESUS!”.
If you don’t have Him in your heart…you will seek things of this world in vain and will not obtain the fullness of Joy that the treasures you attempt to store up  here on earth bring. 270205_530379613647954_1757161617_n
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 6:21

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Psalm 16:11
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Today, Choose to be SELF-PRODUCTIVE have a solution-focused mindset rather than a defeatist attitude.  God works with FAITH…not with FAITHLESSNESS and SELFISHNESS.  It is impossible to please God without Faith (Hebrews 11:6)… if that is what you lack, then be productive, and WORK OUT YOUR FAITH with much reverential fear and trembling.
I have here  two songs to minister to you today. One by J. Moss called God’s Got It. It ministers to me and it’s a bit upbeat but I pray it ministers to you today.
The other is my Jason Nelson called Shifting the Atmosphere. May these worship songs bless your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody!

The Proverbs 31 Mother

Hi Everybody!

Show your Mama love today! They could be grandmothers, aunts, or step-moms, or the teacher that guided you in the right direction, or the neighborhood lady across the street. Show these women some love and husbands, show your wives that being a parent together with her is the best thing that every happened to you. Here is a video to pay tribute to all the Proverbs 31 Mom’s out there!

All of her children call her BLESSED!

Thought of the Day: So You’re Christian Huh?

Hi Everybody!

I think I’m on spoken word mode.  This video I’m sharing really makes you look at where you stand in Christ. It’s one thing to know about God, but it’s another to be in relationship with Him. We can’t have an acquaintance-like relationship with Jesus by knowing Him in Name only and yet ignore Him for who He really is to us; He is our Lord and Savior and King of kings. May this Video help us to search deep within to know where we really stand. It’s amazing how much scripture Shawn Presley used in his spoken word, but the truth is needed to be heard in order to confront that which we try to shove under the carpet.

It’s amazing how much we try not to face ourselves when we say we are walking “in Christ” and yet live jaded lives thinking that God is blind to our acts of omission or commission to sin. In some cases, we Christians act engaged to Christ and yet are divorced from the Father’s love for us for the mere fact that we aren’t living for God wholly. It’s sad to have a part-time Christian faith when really God seeks a full-time marriage commitment of Faith.  If we are the Bride of Christ as we so claim, we must no longer portray a mistress status with our King. Let’s dig deep and pray that the Church of Jesus Christ wakes up to see its real face and not live a compromised life swaying like a pendulum with the world’s way of living and start pursuing righteousness for what it is- living in right-standing with Christ. May we confess before God for not really being what we are meant to be in His Eyes which is to be Joint-Heirs with Christ Jesus. We can’t claim to be a powerful church, if we aren’t even plugged-in to the source which is in Christ our solid Rock, our redeemer and foundation of faith. May God help us be the Church that we ought to be and may we as Christians humble ourselves before the King of kings and repent for not being what we should be before Him. Let’s re-align ourselves back to the heart of the Father and seek to live in right-standing with Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, Amen!

Enjoy the Video and God bless you Everybody!

Sunday Inspiration: Believe

Hi everybody!

Right now, I’m going through something that requires me to increase my Faith. I’ve recently been laid off and need God’s divine intervention in my situation. I’m not ashamed of my circumstances because I’ve decided to Trust God for what I need. Now, in such circumstances it is easy to forget Him and decide to forsake Him in times of trouble, but I know in whom I believe. I’ve resolved within myself that I can’t afford to be depressed although there was a few days this week where I knew it was creeping up on me. I’ve heard of others going through the same thing as me in this season and in some circumstances, they are a bit worse off in the situation as I am however, despite all that, God has been encouraging me to keep my faith alive and stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Sometimes, people stop ministering when bad things happen to them, however, I have decided to remain anchored in Christ. We’ve got to learn to trust God not only in the good times but in the bad times as well. The way I see it, this is a test of endurance. I know that when you feel pressure it is easy to crack mentally and it has happened to me before, however, I don’t want to go around in circles anymore with such a reaction and I have decided to remain steadfast and keep my faith alive because I’m believing for a divine turn-around in my situation. I’ve been speaking to my circumstances and calling forth things that be not as though they are because it’s easy to brood about what is happening rather than speak to your situation and prophesy what you want to see happen. I am believing that I am not in lack, that I am in a transition for multiplication and territory increase. That is what I have been praying for as of late.

God has been really testing me in this area of Faith. One thing I know is that when you are in lack, God is able to create a river through your desert situation.

Isaiah 43:18-20

New King James Version (NKJV)tumblr_lsgs3st5tA1qlbe26o1_400

18 Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
20 The beast of the field will honor Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I give waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My people, My chosen.

I’m standing on the Word and believing that even when in lack, God is my river that is running through my desert. He is the way maker, the one who is able to create opportunities for His people that believe in Him. This song that I’m posting here today is from Marvin Winans Jr. called Believe. It is an up beat song, but it really has been ministering to my spirit as of late. I still believe that even in this Season of Renewal, we must yield to the power of the Holy Spirit. What I’ve come to believe is that when you have nothing, that is when you give of yourself to the Lord the most. Like that Widow that lived in the desert with her son that had only enough food to eat one more day and listened to Elijah the Prophet and gave him something to eat according to his request in her time of lack, God is able to increase the very little that you have if you obey His voice in this season. Her food was a seed that would reap a harvest of an abundance of food because she understood the principle of SEED – TIME – HARVEST. The little food she had was what she used to sow into her miracle by giving the very last of what she had to the Man of God, God saw her heart and blessed her with a divine increase in a time where such a thing was impossible or unlikely to occur. She probably didn’t even know that she was working a principle and a promise from God that says “I will bless those that bless you”(Genesis 12:3). When she blessed the Prophet, she herself received a blessing which was an abundance in a time of lack.

Matthew 10:41

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

Our God is a God of the ridiculous and it is that Faith Level that I believe that God is testing me with even in my own season. God is able to increase the very little we have when we decide to cooperate with Him and the Holy Spirit. I believe that is the key thing here, OBEDIENCE!

1 Kings 17:8-16 (NKJV)

Elijah and the WidowRH-ElijahFedByWoman_08

8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.” 11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”

12 So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”

13 And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’”

15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.

I believe that it is when you have nothing that you give of yourself all the more to God and you will see increase when you are told to give the very little that you have by FAITH. It’s very easy to give when you aren’t in lack and most times, God knows how easy it is for people to give when their resources are high; but what happens when God asks you to give when your resources are running low? Do we choose to believe in Him and do what He asks of us? Sometimes, God asks me to do crazy things and recently He has asked me to sow a seed into someone who is facing the same thing as I am; however, I’m choosing to believe in His Word and bless others anyway even though I know that eventually my resources will run dry because I know that God is testing my Faith and seeking for me to increase it. Whatever I have now is seed for my harvest which also includes even my praise and worship.

Seed into your need and God will increase you in your time of Lack when you obey His voice.

I believe that He is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that He knows my needs according to His riches and glory. He is well able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ever ask or think, however, He wants to see if we believe enough for Him to do it. Though I feel challenged, I’m convinced that I serve a God who is well able to bring into completion my destiny and that He is walking with me through this season to be a testimony of “Look at what the Lord has Done!”

I appreciate any prayers or words of encouragement from my readers reading this post today. I know that my God is an awesome God and I have chosen be simply BELIEVE! For those that are going through some serious issues, my encouragement to you today is LEAN ON GOD and put your Trust in Him. We may lose a lot of things in life, but one thing we must NEVER lose is our FAITH IN GOD. Faith is what keeps you anchored in Christ and Faith is what births the miraculous, because the JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH (Hebrews 10:38), AMEN!

I hope you like this song everybody. God Bless You everybody!

The Fifth Cup

Happy Sunday everybody!

I know I haven’t written much of anything for quite a while…but I will get back into the habit soon. I found this awesome video that will minister to you today called The Fifth Cup by Dan Stevers. It is a definite must watch. I feel stirred in my spirit as of late and feel like there is a need to emphasize the power of the blood of Christ.

Victory is our birth right when we decide that we are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Our language must reflect that birth right. Even in the face of adversity, the language that God only knows is the voice and the sound of Triumph spoken by His children who live by Faith and not by sight (Psalm 47:1; 2 Corinthians 5:7). The blood covers all sins, all mistakes and everything that is in the past because the Blood is God’s whiteout for our past transgressions. Once our mistakes and our past sins are blotted out, we only can look forward to a clean slate as our future (Acts 3:19). Today, focus on the future rather than dwelling on a past that is already erased by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Acts 3:19

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord

God is the author and finisher of your future, so believe in Him today rather than remain trapped by yesterday’s coulda, woulda, shoulda, but didn’t. The past is over, the time is NOW to move forward with God guiding you into your tomorrows. When a runner runs, they never look back because they are fixing their eyes on the prize which is at the finish line.

Set your eyes on the prize and finish the race. Consider this, that since Spring is the Season of Renewal, your best is yet to come, but you don’t have to necessarily wait for it, you can run towards it if you just believe.

God is looking for barrier breaking impossible faith. Do you want to reach that level? I know I do, however, it will take work, so work your faith out and see God move.

Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV)

Pressing Toward the Goal

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Stay blessed everybody and enjoy the video!

What is Church without God?

Hi Everybody!

Happy Palm Sunday! I have here a video to bless your spirit today to make us reflect about this season of Easter/Passover. God is Good and we should be forever grateful that it is because of Easter that we are all made to be a new Creation as Joint Heirs with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Be Blessed everybody and enjoy this video!

The Season of the NEW

imagesCA20DXZD

Hi Everybody!

Today is the 2nd day of Spring! I woke up this morning with an encouraging Word that spoke to my spirit a couple of days ago. In my life there have been extreme changes taking place that have made things rather murky and in a sense uncomfortable for me. I’m seeing people leave my life and new ones entering into it… there have been moments I have had mixed emotions about what I’m seeing, but the Lord encouraged me as I meditated on the meaning of Easter. He gave me this specific scripture:

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Right now in my spirit as we head into Spring, I’ve been feeling like my spirit is in anticipation for great new changes that are yet to come.

The verse of scripture that hit me was that part where it says ”Behold, all things have become new.”

I believe we are entering into a new season of rapid changes. A lot of new things are going to be happening in peoples lives very soon and the key to entering into this season successfully is by letting go of the old things that you’ve been holding onto all this time. God can’t give you something that He has in His hand, if you are already holding onto something that is already in your hand <—- this is key. The whole point is to let go of the old stuff and introduce yourself to the new things that God has planned in your life.

Isaiah 43:18-20

New King James Version (NKJV)imagesCAPWO9NV

18 Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
20 The beast of the field will honor Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I give waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My people, My chosen.

Now as human beings, we have a tendency of holding onto our old stuff rather tightly, especially if the things we hold dear to our hearts have some sort of sentimental value in our lives. However, these things can’t take you forward in the long run because they have a weight that keeps holding you back from pushing forward towards the goal that the Lord sets before you (Philippians 3:14). Your burdens of yesterday should not be carried into your tomorrows. You have to identify what these things are as soon as possible because they are the “old things” that can’t take you to your FUTURE. These things could be anything such as, “emotional baggage”, “expired relationships”, or something tangible like an old car that is nearing the end of its journey as an example. The thing is…if you keep holding onto this stuff and choose not to let go, your heart won’t become receptive to NEW ideas, NEW innovations, NEW blessings, NEW miracles, NEW plans and a NEW direction that the Lord wants you to go. If you are too busy looking back at what is past, you cannot move forward, PERIOD.

I believe that in the present time as we have sprung forward into the Spring season which is also considered to be the SEASON OF RENEWAL, it is time to shed your winter gear, it is time to shed the dead stuff, the old stuff, it is time to shed the emotional baggage, it is time to let go of anger, hatred, strife and resentment,  it is time to let go of yesterdays troubles, it is time to let go of yesterdays mistakes, it is time to let go of FEAR that keeps holding you back from the promises of GOD since FEAR is F- False E-Evidence A-Appearing  R-Real, it is time to let go of the broken relationships, it is time to let go of the dress or the shirt that doesn’t fit you anymore, it is time to let go of the unforgiveness and grief you still hold in your heart, it is time to let go of all the stuff that was soooo last season because you can’t wear a winter jacket in spring, in much the same way that you can’t wear shorts in winter.

Prepare yourself for this NEW season. God cannot work with those who are RESISTANT to CHANGE.

Psalm 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Spring forward to the NEW because if you are in Christ, God is saying the “OLD things have passed away, Behold, all things have become NEW” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Renew-1I believe that this is an encouraging Word for you and me Today. I believe that God is setting up people for an expansion of new territories and changes in their lives. When there is an expansion of territory it means you have to discover what is in those territories in order to claim whatever exists in that territory as yours. Whatever NEW thing that presents itself in your life, DO NOT FEAR the NEW changes, rather seek to walk by faith into the NEW thing that God is doing in your life because it is in these unchartered territories that you will see great things happen and manifest in your life. I admit that I am a little apprehensive and at the same time excited about the NEW things that God has planned in my life; however, I choose to be willing to continue to move by faith and see what happens. So many things have shifted within a short time frame that I believe that it is necessary for these changes to occur in order to move you and increase your belief to be strengthened from FAITH to FAITH

When things shift in a Season, you also have to shift your way of thinking and your way of doing things to adjust to the CHANGE that is yet to occur. If you remain stagnant, disobedient, obstinate or stubborn in your thinking, you run the chance of missing out on what God has in store for you had you decided to walk in the direction that He chooses for you to walk into. I admit that it can be a little fearful to not know what will transpire once you decide to obey and run in God’s pointed-finger direction, but it is better to obey His Will for you in your life rather than to ignore it so that the Jeremiah 29:11 blessing reaches your hands. Of course, I feel challenged by what I have been witnessing lately, but I have purposed to let go of the burden that anxiety gives when pondering about the future and its uncertainties since it is God who makes my yoke easy and my burden light when I choose to trust in Him (Matthew 11:30).  Key word is TRUST.

God wants to TEST how far we are willing to believe in HIM as He re-arranges your life. So in your prayer life, ask yourself this one important question:

Are you WILLING to BEHOLD the NEW things that God wants to do in your life?

Of course this will mean allowing CHANGE in your life, but are you willing to permit it in your life in order to step into a NEW DIRECTION which is God’s Direction towards your Prosperous Future that He has planned for you? In order to claim your Future, you have to let go of the OLD things that have passed away in order to embrace the New.

imagesCA2IUP06This means you have to RENEW your way of thinking and the way you do things. Do Not Fear Change, instead, embrace it and walk into it by FAITH and see amazing things happen in your life.

God will give you something better in this season if you just BELIEVE that HE CAN and HE WILL.

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

I have a song that I still love and have posted before in a post I think I did a year ago and it’s from Dorinda Clarke Cole called Everything He Promised. May this Song bless your Spirit Everybody!

The Boy that Asked for $50

Hi Everybody!

Usually I put a song each weekend, but this short story really touched my heart about a young child’s perspective towards loving their parent. If only we would come to God like little children. Family is important and it is so important for us to understand that God cares for each one of us because we are all a part of His family. As children who love our Father in Heaven, so too does our Father in Heaven love us little children. We must not forget the Father’s Love.

Just a disclaimer: I am not the original author of this story but I saw this on my facebook and just thought it would be great to share here on my blog.

Please Read and be blessed by the story Everybody!

How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. Understanding Purpose

purposeHi Everybody!

It has been a while since I last posted so today’s post is more a thought piece.

For the past few weeks I’ve been reflecting on what it means to walk into destiny and the Lord pointed out to me that the only way to reach our destinies in life is by learning to understand your purpose in life.

Do you know what your purpose is in life?

How does one understand their purpose?

Do you know that we are  all a solution to a question that hasn’t been answered?

We tend to figure out who we are by recognizing what makes us tick, what inspires us, what moves us, what makes us want to act on something and we tend to find the answers to these questions by looking out for things that we want to change. The desire to change something and make something better is a clue as to where our destiny lies.

Sometimes as we grow up we have an idea of what we want to be, but the full picture isn’t always clear until God reveals to us what our true purpose is in this life. I sometimes look within myself and wonder, what am I here for? Each day I see areas that I am a solution to different problems.

I’m convinced that we were all created to heal this broken world. In fact, we are all ordained and set apart (sanctified) to heal this broken world. We may all operate at different capacities, however, we were all created to give glory to God through our talents and abilities. Although we are all born with various talents and abilities, not everybody is walking in their destinies because they aren’t walking in the right direction. When someone isn’t walking in the right direction, they walk away from what God intended them to be because they are lost. Unfortunately, there are a lot of lost people in this world and that is why it is so important to seek to do God’s will as Christians. Understanding God’s will helps us to understand our purpose in life which leads us to walk towards what we were destined to be; a solution to a  broken world that doesn’t know Jesus Christ is the answer regarding their identity. The one thing we must do is entrust our destinies in the Lord’s Hands. We all have dreams, but only God can help us make these dreams a reality. The focus here is to trust God with all our heart, with all our mind and with all our soul. We cannot move forward without believing in the Author and Finisher of our destiny (Hebrews 12:2). When we understand Jesus, we can then learn to understand ourselves and our purpose. So we must seek to understand our purpose in order to walk with a purpose.

Those who understand their purpose have the ability to steer others who are lost to find their purpose. When you have a clear vision of who you are in Christ, you are able to draw others towards Him by the very nature of God’s presence that resides in you to be a fisher of all men and women (Matthew 4:19).  The only way to understand your purpose is to learn to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF because God already Believes in YOU. In the same way, we must put our Trust in God for our lives because He is the one that guides us to our purpose. So Today, focus on leaning on God to Understand your Purpose, because purpose is tied to you believing in God for your destiny so that you can walk in it.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

I have a song here to bless your spirit today by VaShawn Mitchell feat. Kierra Sheard called I Will. May it bless you abundantly everybody!

The Power of Belief: “I think, therefore it is, and so shall it be”

Faith Is

Hi Everybody,

The Power of Belief is more powerful than speech because everything created began with a thought before it was spoken into motion.

Did you know that you were first thought of before you were created?

imagesCAIDMM6RJeremiah 1:5

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

We were all in the mind of God before He even spoke the world into motion.  He knew how we would look like before we were created. We were part of God’s imagination before we became His manifested creation. We can never know the mind of an artist until they translate their thoughts and ideas into something tangible, into something we can see and experience just like how you can never know the mind of a writer until they put their thoughts into writing so that you can read to understand their thoughts and ideas that are translated into words written on paper.

The Lord has been showing me how incredible we as people really are.  In the Word we are described as “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” (Psalm 139:14) and even though this is true, as Sons and Daughters of the Most High God, we still struggle with an inferiority complex. We still don’t know who we are in Christ Jesus because we simply do not believe in God’s Word and what He says about us.

God Thinks, therefore I AM a Child of God created in His Image and Likeness.

How many of us really believe that?

Did you know that Miracles are a substance created from Hope that is rooted in Faith that comes from the thinker who decides to simply BELIEVE?

When you believe something is…it becomes your reality.

God has been speaking to me about guarding your mind as you build up your Faith. What you believe is what you become. It is important to guard your mind because even though there is power in spoken words, those spoken words first come from the heart of the thinker who believes in what they are saying.

imagesCA91MCEAProverbs 23:7

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

Whatever philosophy that you hold onto as Truth, inevitably becomes your reality if that is what you choose to BELIEVE.

So the question is: “What do you believe?”. Whose report do you Believe Do you believe in the Report of the Lord?

I believe that in the present time, we have to prepare our hearts to believe that what may seem impossible to us can become possible if we put our Faith and Trust in the right place which is in God’s Hands. If you believe in your heart that whatever you have need of  from the Lord and believe that God is able to meet that need, your thoughts will translate your faith into something that will become a tangible reality. If you believe that you are healed, your healing shall become so according to the proportion of your Faith. If you Trust God to break the bondages of poverty, sickness, divorce, abuse, addictions or whatever need you have of the Lord, and believe that He is able to break the chains and these reoccuring patterns of curses operating in your bloodline/generation, then your freedom will become your reality if you just believe that God is able. When you allow doubt to enter into your mind….that is when your belief system is crippled. Negative thoughts prevent people from seeing and receiving miracles because miracles are birthed from Faith that is rooted in ones belief.

thomasSome people have a “Doubting Thomas” spirit that needs to see things in order to believe”. Thomas was one of the disciples who needed to see the physical manifested resurrection of Jesus and touch his wounds as proof in order to believe that Jesus did in fact rise and is risen from the dead in fulfillment of the scriptures.

John 20:24-25

[ Seeing and Believing ]24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

Thomas did not believe in the miracle of Christ’s resurrection until he could perceive things with his own eyes. This is something to take note of because he totally missed his chance for his miracle that would transform his destiny just because of his doubt. Before meeting Thomas, the other disciples met Jesus and were commissioned to become apostles while Thomas was not there with them to witness this great miracle of Jesus’ Resurrection. The Lord Jesus breathed on the disciples who believed and they ended up being the ones who received the fire of the HOLY SPIRIT.

21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them,Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

What you receive from the Lord is attached to your level of Faith and Belief.

Thomas missed his chance to receive the Holy Spirit in this way just because he was stubborn in his DOUBT.

This event spoke volumes to me because it tells me that we need to have an already built-in expectation of Faith in order to receive a miracle. If you prepare your heart and choose to believe, you will see what you believe before it even happens. Those who doubt do not prepare to receive and therefore, it is no suprise that when a miracle does occur even in their midst, they that doubted often are the ones who miss out on their blessings.

So How Do We Go About Preparing for a Miracle?

“How does one prepare for a storm?”

Sometimes weather forcasters tell us to prepare for hurricanes and other types of weather. You’ll have some people the will hear the report and believe in the report and will act on what they believe by preparing to stock up on food, boarding up and reinforcing their houses and whatever property they have to ensure that they are secure before the storm hits.

What was demonstrated here? FAITH IN ACTION.

The people first hear the report, believe in the report and act on it by preparing for what they believed in.  Wisdom is also demonstrated by those that don’t yield to doubt and hold on to Faith. Such people don’t need to see the storm in order to know that they need to prepare for it before it hits.

At the same time, we will have people that will hear the same report and will choose not to respond to it simply because they do not believe in the report of the weather forecasters.  They will choose not to prepare for it because in their mind they think the storm is highly unlikely to hit them and even if it were to hit, they will be convinced that it wouldn’t necessarily affect them or create real damage. Such people and their DOUBT causes them to miss out on the opportunity to prepare for the storm. By the time the storm hits, it is already too late to prepare to shield yourself for the onslaught that the winds bring as damage ensues from the rage of the storm.

This analogy is the same for miracles. 2Cor5-7

Just because you don’t see the storm doesn’t mean it won’t hit. A gentle wind can turn into a furious toronado filled with power given the amount of time and pressure required to gather momentum. If you are warned before hand to prepare for a storm, you will be prepared to handle what it brings if you respond to the report. However, for those who ignore such reports because of their heavy-seated doubts, they end up potentially being robbed of their chance to preserve their belongings as everything is taken away by the storm.

In the same way, those that believe in a miracle are the ones who prepare to receive one when they choose to BELIEVE IN THE REPORT OF THE LORD.  If you doubt God, you won’t receive your miracle because you failed to prepare your heart to build up your faith so that you can believe in what He has for you.

Belief in God is required in order to receive your miracle. It’s as simple as that.

Seeing is not believing, believing is seeing.

You have to prepare your heart so that it is unwavering in order to receive a miracle. Undaunted faith releases that which you hoped to receive. If you allow room for doubt, you will miss your blessings. I sense that the Lord wants people to prepare their hearts to believe so that we can receive that which we hoped for as the rain of miracles will rain down in due season.  If you don’t believe, you won’t receive and you will miss opportunities just because you didn’t prepare your heart and build your Faith. The time is NOW to prepare your heart and build your faith because the latter rain is going to be greater than the former.

So People of God…. Pursue to Build up your Faith in order to see the tangible manifestation of your miracles that God has waiting for you. Confess your doubts and ask God to give you more Faith. The more faith you have, the greater the miracle that will be released; however, God is searching for mustard seed Faith in the Body of Christ because there is such a stronghold of unbelief that is locking up people’s miracles. Be encouraged and seek God to increase your Faith, today! God bless you everybody!

Faith Seekers: There is Power in the Name of Jesus!

faith comes by hearing

Hi Everbody!

I haven’t been able to type up much for the past few days because there’s been sooo much on my plate, but I just wanted to drop by and bless y’all with a powerful song by Tasha Cobbs called Break Every Chains. For the most part, I am blessed with the fact that God is so powerful, He can break every chain that keeps us captive in the Name of Jesus.

John 16:24

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

All we’ve got to do is ask in Jesus Name and these chains that keep us from progressing in life can be broken if we move by faith. We have to claim our freedom by faith.

Faith isn’t a passive force, it’s an active force that moves impossibilities to become possible.

This means that we all need to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. Faith isn’t a mere “feeling”, it’s a decision one makes that is translated into action. The truth is, we decide if we want to get healed or not. Like no one can force you to see the doctor…the Holy Spirit won’t force you to seek your healing or deliverance that is available to you today. YOU decide if you will have faith or not. Jesus can give you that which you need. If you need faith…ask for it. Remember….you don’t have to be the “Until now you haven’t asked nothing in My Name” -type person…. you should decide to be the asker.

Those that Ask from the Lord, often are the ones who end up receiving from the Lord. Faith is a decision; it’s a choice that produces a result.  Faithlessness doesn’t require anything…except for you to decide not to decide to have faith at all.

The famous saying that goes… “All evil needs to triumph is for good men(and women) to do nothing”. In the same way, your captivity is determined by you deciding to do NOTHING. Faith takes you places and breaks the barriers that keep you from moving forward. Faithlessness keeps you in bondage with all your problems. Captivity can be a choice if you decide to accept that as your status quo.  I say…. NOT MY PORTION!

What will you decide is your Portion today? Seek to increase your level of Faith and you will see amazing things happen.

God is waiting for FAITH SEEKERS!

God bless you everybody!

Demonstrating the Power of God: The Church on Fire

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The Church of Jesus Christ Ablaze

Hi Everybody!

consuming-fire lion of Judah

Consuming fire of God – The Lion of Judah (Judah means Praise)

I hope everybody is having a wonderful Friday! So lately, the Lord has been impressing upon my heart about fueling a Church so that it is always on fire. As we all know, fire is a powerful heat source filled with energy that if not monitored or contained properly, it has the potential to go out of control and destroy everything in its path and at the same time if it is not properly fueled, it can also be quenched.

When I first got saved, I came to believe that we as people can become as powerful as the apostles in the Bible that could drive out demons, heal the sick and have a trail of miracles working in our lives. I have not changed my opinion on this matter. I believe that if the Bible says we can have the same authority, then we should be able to do the same thing. However, such things only work according to the proportion of our FAITH (Romans 12:6).

So the question is…. How much FAITH do we have regarding such spiritual giftings in the first place?

I believe that Churches should be so filled with the Holy Spirit that people don’t need to enter into the Church building to get their healing…they can get healed and delivered in the parking lot…they can get healed and delivered on their way to church…they can get healed and delivered by proxy. The signs and wonders that we want to have following us as Christians can only be witnessed by others through Faith demonstrated in Power by the unction of the Holy Spirit. The Power of God and the authority we all have in Christ should be so powerful that we should even have the kind of  faith like the Centurion that didn’t need to “see it to believe” in the Power of Jesus…all He needed to hear was a Word that it was done and that’s all the faith we need to see healings take place in our lives (Matthew 8:8). In that very hour, the servant of the centurion was healed (Matthew 8:12-14).

People of God, we are the mystery of God’s glory waiting to be revealed to the unbelievers — Christ in us the hope of Glory.

Colossians 1:27

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Unbelievers need to see Faith being demonstrated by the Church of God in order to believe. However, I think to some extent… the Church of Jesus Christ is rather complacent…rather unbelieving… If God did it once before…He is well able to do it again. However, do we believe that??????? I admit that there are areas in my life that I still tackle unbelief, but the whole point is, we need to make room for Faith to increase in our lives if we want signs and wonders to follow the Spiritual Warfaring Church.

heart ablazeThis year the Lord has been speaking to my heart about building up my Faith. Sometimes when you go through trials, your faith can get shakened, but that doesn’t mean that it gets extinguished. All your flame of faith requires to grow is fuel to make it burn ablaze. I feel like the Lord is revitalizing my faith. He is making me increase my cup. I don’t believe I have enough and that is why I seek more faith. I want a greater dispensation of God’s glory to be revealed; however, faith is required to make it manifest. I experienced a lot of hindrances last year…but God has always been my cheerleader to keep pressing on, to keep going….to not look at what it looks like right now….to not give up….to not worry about other people’s opinions of where you are going (or not going in their opinion). He (God) taught me to focus on His leading…focus on His direction…focus on His instruction and guidance….believe in the Word…believe in the Holy Spirit and do not lean onto your own understanding. As people we have limits but God is limitless so we must yield to the one that is able to break the barriers, to break the chains, to break the limits off and tap into the uncharted territories. Trust God and He will take you through your trials and provide for you as you continue in your undaunted faith.

The Church requires undaunted faith…unmovable faith, unshakeable faith to be a powerful Church. I remember praying a couple of days ago and the Lord spoke to my spirit and said “I’m going to teach you how to walk by faith this year”. I know that at my present capacity…I need to do things I’ve never done before…pursue greatness and not settle of less than the best. The vision I have for the powerful Church requires me to upgrade my knowledge and my understanding of the Word. God has given me some projects I need to fulfill before the year is done. I’m doing a lot of things that are stirring up the reverential fear of the Lord in me. God says, “Do it even if you are afraid…this will teach you what COURAGE is about”.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct[a] your paths.
I believe that as believers, our faith in God is experiential more than just a set of rules and guidelines we all follow as dogma. I experienced the bondage-breaking power of God in my life from demonic oppression in my dreams, suicidal thoughts and actions, and suffered issues with sleep-walking when I was growing up. The power of God is real to me…and these examples are but a few reasons why I believe God is real. God taught me that I can take authority over my nightmares and over some demonic experiences that I can’t really explain very well since there were various incidences…but for now, I’ll just call it spiritual oppression and that I could bind these forces and tell them where to go in the NAME OF JESUS and they would flee. The peace I experienced from being set free by this level of oppression fueled my faith in Jesus Christ. If God can set me free, I believe He is more than able to set other captives free.

miracles 2God is saying…”I want my Church to demonstrate their faith in POWER and in the authority I have already given them through my Son Jesus Christ”.

So Church, keep believing…keep trusting God, be bold, be daring, be courageous, believe in the authority that the Lord gives. We are only as powerful as our Faith allows us to be.

John 16:24

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

If you have a small proportion of Faith, then seek God to increase it. You have not if you ask not (James 4:2), so ask and it shall be given unto you, pressed down, shaken together and running over! HALLELUJAH

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

I believe that God wants His church to rise up and be a warfaring house operating in the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The same God of Yesterday, Today and Forever is looking for vessels that will be bold and courageous. Are you one of these that will step out into the deep like Peter who walked on water believing as he fixed His eyes on Jesus? If we want to do great things, we must fix our eyes towards the Author and Finisher of our FAITH (Hebrews 12:2). Let the Lord Jesus fill your cup of Faith today as you ask in His Holy and Mighty Name, AMEN!

Demons tremble at this mystery, that YOU have Christ in YOU the Hope of GLORY. Glory be to GOD Everybody!

I have two songs here from Fred Hammond called Glory to Glory to Glory & Show Yourself Strong. May these songs bless your spirit today Everybody!

A Road Less Traveled: Paying the Price for God’s Glory to be Revealed

Hi Everybody!

For the past couple of days…actually its been a few weeks, I’ve been meditating on the Glory of God and  what it truly takes for it to be revealed.

When I think of God’s Glory, I think of people like Job who wouldn’t curse God and die like his wife wanted to (Job 2:9), I think of Joseph who had a prophetic destiny to rule over his brothers and his Father in order to save the destiny of the children of Israel Genesis 37-47), I think of Esther who took the risk to reveal the plot of Haman who wanted to kill all the Jews in the kingdom by revealing that she herself was in fact a Jew to King Ahasuerus (Esther 2-9), I think of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, the three Hebrew boys that refused to bow to any other god and were sentenced to burn in the fire only to come out unharmed since the fourth man was in there with them (Daniel 3 ), I think of David, the little shepherd boy that took down a giant Goliath with no fear arresting his heart (1 Samuel 17), I think of all the disciples that became apostles that built the Church of Jesus Christ under many threats of persecution declaring that Jesus Christ is indeed the Way the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).

When I thought about these few examples in the Bible, I feel like a tugging is in my heart as the Lord asked me, “What price are you willing to pay to see My Glory be revealed?”. What a difficult and fearful question. At the moment as I contemplate, it would be easy to take the “Christian answer” and say “Yeah, everything”, but knowing me, I’m not into rash and thoughtless answers. The Truth of the matter is, the price that I pay will never compare to that of the one our Lord Jesus Christ paid to save humanity. I know that it will cost me everything to see the Glory of God revealed and that is why I feel very afraid and yet faith beckons me to keep on walking forward and not look back.

People of God, if we want to see things we’ve never seen before in our lives become manifest, it’s going to cost us EVERYTHING. My whole mind is shaking as I’m typing about this….because I see that the road is quite treacherous….but, I know that for what I’m seeking for in this life, it’s going to bea road less traveled”.

Christ in me

Christ in you, the hope of Glory (Colossians 1:27)

Ask yourself, how much do you love your Life?

How much do you love your Money?

How much do you love your Job?

How much do you love your Education?

How much do you love your Family?

How much do you love your “Stuff”?

How much do you love your Sanity?

and finally, How much do you LOVE God?

The price one pays to see God’s Glory to be revealed is equivalent to all the things you already care for deeply. Can you be like Job, Esther, David, Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego etc? Can you be like the apostles who went through serious persecution for their Faith in Jesus Christ? Can you be like our Lord and Savior, Jesus who laid down His life for all of us that He wants to call His “friends”?

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

We need to Love Christ soo much that He is much greater than all the other things or people that you love. The Road is not easy…in fact, I am terrified; however, I feel led to talk about this today, so consider, that God will test our love for HIM FIRST in order for us to see HIS GLORY BE REVEALED.

The Love Test is what Father Abraham went through when he was faced with sacrificing his long awaited and only son Isaac to prove His love for the Lord (Genesis 22). It was indeed a trying and probably the most painful test in his life and yet Abraham loved God enough to go through with it. God saw Abraham’s heart and a miraculous thing happened, God had made provision to spare Isaac as the sacrifice by providing a ram in the thicket to take Isaac’s place (Genesis 22:12-13). The Glory of God revealed in this situation demonstrated that our God is Jehovah Jireh – God our Provider” (Genesis 22:14). Abraham was completely sold out in mind, heart, body and soul to serve the Lord God Almighty that God’s Glory was revealed as one of Mercy, Kindness, Love and Provision for God’s Vision for Abraham’s life…and so as Christians, we too will all encounter this test in our lives very soon at some point in our journey. I call it “The Love of God Test”.

How much are you willing to sacrifice for the Love of God? christ_the_hope_of_glory

As you search deep within you as you meditate on God’s Word each day, consider that whatever you claim that you will do for the Lord shall be tested by the Lord so don’t answer rashly, don’t answer without carefully out weighing the cost, because whatever you say shall be tested. If you fear Him (reverentially), you will know that He is well able to test a person’s claim for their love of the Lord. I know that in my own life, God has always tested my words…some things I have done according to what I claim, and some things I have said thoughtlessly have also brought upon me some shame and some serious introspection. You’ve always got to be real with yourself, people. I can’t emphasize that enough.

The point is…when God asks you a question….don’t answer by way of presumption. Do not presume you will do something for God when you know in your heart that you will not do it. Instead, think long, think hard, search deep and answer truthfully and by faith once you realize the gravity and the weight of the question being asked of you. You can answer to God’s call on your life by faith even if you are trembling with fear (which is something I typically do, lol ;) ); however, the most important thing to do is to answer truthfully  before the Lord since the answer that you produce is what God will inevitably test.

Colossians 1:27

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

We cannot escape this test if you are in Christ because how else will the Glory of God be revealed?

You have Christ in you, the hope of Glory so let the Glory of God be revealed through your life, Amen!

Food for thought.

I have a song here to minister to your Spirit today sung by The Singletons called I’ll Worship you all my Days.

God bless you everybody!

An Act of Confession

confession-prayerHi Everbody!

I just figured that I’d post a video here today that will make us think deeply and reflect on ourselves as we practice daily repentance through daily confession before our God in order to be free from the negative  emotions and things that keep us in a place of self-condemnation and/or bondage from negative thinking about ourselves and others. There is no condemnation in Christ so be honest with yourself and confess to God your weaknesses and He will make you Free.

Romans 8:1
[ Free from Indwelling Sin ] There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

When you become really honest with yourself about the negative thoughts you harbor if in bitterness, jealousy, anger etc., you can and will receive inner healing and deliverance from these negative emotions for not just your body and your mind, but for your soul as well.

[ Meditate on These Things ] Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8 NKJV

It is so important to keep that spirit of repentance in our heart and to practice it daily in order to avoid developing a seared conscience. Humble yourself and always seek God to purify your heart because that really shows that you need Him. When you Draw near to Him, He too will draw near to you.

James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

May this video bless you today everybody!

God – You Did!

pillar-of-light

Hi Everybody!

Honor-HimWooohoooooooo it’s the final day of the Fast for me! The whole journey has been rather surreal for me. I remember going to church last night because we were praying throughout the 21 Day Daniel Fast so it was holding a prayer service, and as people were praying for their needs, I literally saw a cloud of smoke hovering the entire congregation and it filled the entire room and I knew it was the presence of God because this wasn’t the first time I’d seen this happen.

Exodus 33:10

All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door.

People of God, the presence of God is tangible from my experience. It was a fearful sight for me, because that is when you realize that you’ve entered into a place that is considered the Holy of Holies. I remember feeling like I was just trembling throughout the prayer session and what I can say is that when you enter into that Holy place, you can’t joke around in that presence. I believe that the same God who walked with the Isralites like a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night is able to make His presence known to those who reverentially fear Him. As I meditate today, I feel in my spirit that the Lord wants people to know that the Lord will lead you in the night time and in the day time with knowledge, instruction, direction from the Light that comes from His Word. All you have to do is watch Him lead and you follow as you walk by faith and not by sight.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Exodus 13:21

And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.

I’m expecting a new move of God this year. What took years to be established will take days if not hours to be fulfilled. There is indeed a quickening in the spirit so don’t give up on what you are praying for is my encouragement today. God will show you the road in which you should travel if you just put your trust in Him today.

Nehemiah 9:12

Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, And by night with a pillar of fire, To give them light on the road Which they should travel.

Nehemiah 9:19

Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go.
God will not leave you in the wilderness if you just allow Him to take you by the Hand and allow Him to lead you in the right direction, is what I’m hearing in my spirit right now as I’m typing this.
if-god-is-with-us
This word that is in my spirit right now is to encourage you as it is also an encouragement to myself. There are moments I wonder whether I am heading in the right direction as I sometimes am filled with anxiety wondering if I’m still following Him. There are moments where the road seems a bit blurry and you need that reassurance that you are walking in the right direction. Throughout the fast God has been telling me to not lean on my own understanding and to follow Him as He directs my path (Proverbs 3:5-7). Sometimes we operate by presumption, assuming we know where we ought to go…but that level of presumption can lead you astray if you are not careful. We can’t rely on our own understanding to get to where God wants us to be so we have to humble ourselves and allow Him to direct the path and He will make it clear for you. I pray that the journey ahead of all of us will be made clear and that in whatever we do, we must do it for the glory of God to be revealed to His lost sheep.
May the peace of God follow you throughout the year everybody!

I feel like celebrating the end of this fast with a song by J.Moss (feat. James Fortune) called You Did. May this Song bless your spirit today Everybody!

Worship Sunday: If He Did it Once, He Can Do it Again!

Hi Everybody!

jesus-healing2I feel like praising the Lord today. I only have two days until I’m done the 21 Day Daniel Fast and honestly, I feel like my discernment is getting sharper as I sit and meditate in God’s Word day after day and I just want to give God the praise for all the things I experienced through this Fast. I feel like I need to post a song to encourage some people out there who feel weary about whether God is going to answer their prayers or not this year. If you are seeking restoration, healing and deliverance for your family, God is more than able to grant what you ask in His Name according to His will and purpose for your life which is the Jeremiah 29:11 promise.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

The message that’s in my spirit right now is that “If God did it once, He can do it again”. Do not forget the past miracles He has given you in your life. When you remember all that He has done for you, you will look forward to the greater things that are yet to come. Greater miracles than the former are yet to come. The greatest miracle in your life though, is when you decided to give your life back to the Lord. Salvation is the greatest miracle; however, your life of miracles don’t end there. There will be a path of miracles that will continue to occur in your life as you continue to follow God when you allow Him to direct your path towards HIM and the destiny that He has for you in this Life leading you to your promise and your destiny.

Draw near to God and He will Draw near to you and let your footsteps be ordered of the Lord as He takes you by the hand and leads you in the direction that you must follow in order to receive your miracles. Don’t give up on whatever you are praying and believing for and keep pressing through for your breakthroughs. A blessing delayed is not necessarily denied, it’s just waiting for you to reach its destination when you put your Trust in God and allow Him to lead you to your blessing.

If God did it before, Please believe He can Do it Again.

Hebrews 10:22

let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
Psalm 73:28Spiritual warfare

But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.

Psalm 37:23

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct[a] your paths.

Guarding Your Heart from the Spirit of DIVISION.

guardyourheart1

Hi Everybody!

I know I know, It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on here, LOL :D .

The 21 Day Daniel Fast this year for me has been rather different from the one I had last year. I’d say that it is just as intense as last year and so many new things are happening around me that I can’t get into it just yet. All I can say is that it’s been an uphill battle in this fast to keep my wits about me without getting weary lol :D .

For the past few days, the Lord has been talking to me about the Spirit of Division.  I thought to myself “What about it Lord?”, and that’s when He started to reveal things to me to keep note of for this year.

imagesCAK6X5LDThe Spirit of Division is the kind of spirit that prevents UNITY. It is the type of spirit that can come in various forms, but stems from the root demon spirit called PRIDE. It causes disunity and is known to be a Thief of time, effort, emotions and steals people’s Provision for God’s VISION for our lives (John 10:10). God wants a UNIFIED Church. If gossip mongers create strife, there will be divisions amongst the fold which means that the CHURCH will crumble if there is a lack of agreement and unity amongst its members (Amos 3:3 - Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?). If Division can be created to cause disagreements and arguments amongst the members of the Church, then how can the body of Christ walk in the same direction if the members do not agree upon any one thing? This is what will happen if DISUNITY is achieved which is exactly what the Devil wants in order to weaken the power of the UNIFIED CHURCH. I feel like the spirit of the Lord has been wanting me to say for quite sometime ”Church of Jesus Christ, Guard your heart from this DIVISIVE Spirit!”

God in your HeartWe must learn to guard our hearts from adopting such a Divisive spirit that seeks to kill, steal & destroy the Unity of the Church that is Strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might.

[ Avoid Divisive Persons ] Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

The Lord also revealed to me during my meditations that a Spirit of Division is also a characteristic of a DOUBLE-MINDED Man who is unstable in all their ways (James 1:8). The only way to keep yourself from becoming double-minded is by learning to remain humble in all that you do for God and for others by understanding the true meaning of SUBMISSION.

James 4:7-8imagesCAA4WUEV

Humility Cures Worldliness

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

DRAW NEAR TO GOD and RESIST THE DEVIL. It is so important to not allow oneself to be embittered with envy (jealousy),or temptations that lead one to lust, or acts of depravity, anger & hatred which are all sinful behaviours that contaminate a persons soul. Such behaviours stray from the path of righteousness and cause one to act with a divisive spirit that is unable to work with others as a team. This is what happens when one yields to a Spirit of Division. Such persons, cause strife, they cause arguments, they enjoy the breaking up of peoples who once walked in agreement and they are the ones that prevent UNITY by creating DISUNITY.

imagesCAU1G9XM1 Corinthians 1:10

[ Sectarianism Is Sin ] Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
UNITY is what keeps the Church of Jesus Christ STRONG. If the devil can find a few key members in the fold to cause division, then as the American saying goes “United we Stand, Divided we FALL”.
So what do you do about those members that cause DIVISIONS amongst others on purpose?
 imagesCAMNQYNL
[ Avoid Divisive Persons ] Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus[b] Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
We are told in the Book of Romans to:
1.) Take note of who they are ; and
2.) AVOID THEM.
imagesCA1ANTEPAnd by avoiding them, I mean, DO NOT partake or imitate their behaviours…DO NOT do what they do…and DO NOT allow them to contaminate others who you know can be easily led astray by such individuals. Protect yourselves and your brothers and sisters from such a foul spirit. It is so important to build discernment applied with WISDOM so that you know how to tackle such a spirit strategically using the WORD of GOD and by praying without ceasing seeking God’s direction and instruction. This Spirit is not one to toy with, neither one to disregard. Haman Spirits act alike, Saul-like spirits act in the same-like manner so be wise and guard your spirit from ENVY, Strife, Anger, Jealousy, Hatred, Lust and such behaviours that contribute to being divisive and argumentative in Character and in Spirit.

Apostates Predicted

16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

Maintain Your Life with God

20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

heartWe are forwarned that those who operate with a Spirit of Division are sensual persons who DO NOT have the HOLY Spirit in them (Jude 1:19). Therefore, we must do what the Bible says in (Jude 1:20-21) and keep praying in the Holy Spirit and in the LOVE of God always pursuing the mercy of God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In essence, the point is to remain humble and practice humility as a way of life. Humility requires us to submit to the will of God in our lives and to heed the Godly counsel of our elders and not to be filled with self-seeking behaviours that seek to satisfy the desires of our flesh. When we yield to this wisdom, we can properly guard ourselves from becoming obstinate, callous, rude, calculative, and deceptive, not only deceiving others but ourselves from the Truth which is in GOD’s Word. The spirit of Division operates in the same way as one who practices False Humility  if you reference back to the post I wrote last year regarding The Importance of Detecting False Humility.

Guard your heart, your mind, your spirit and your soul from adopting this type of spirit. It will affect your Character and everything you do. Remain Humble and always abide in the Truth.  It is always better to esteem others above yourself and it is even better to give to others rather than to receive from others.

Unity is Strength

A United Church is a Strong Church

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Acts 20:35

I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Such a person operating under the spirit of Division will always seek to esteem themselves higher than others and will always prefer to receive accolades, gifts, prizes (including bribes), and high recognition from others to puff up their PRIDE (this definitely reminds me of SAUL who was jealous of David in 1 Samuel 18:6-8). My dear brothers and sisters, we must avoid becoming such a person. Remain humble and learn what it means to SUBMIT TO GOD and also to submit to Godly counselors who watch out for your soul. Refrain from becoming bitter about any issue that arises in your life, for bitterness will lead you to sin in this way if you do not learn to manage your emotions well, so check yourself before you wreck yourself, and repent to God if you have harboured such traits that are described here regarding the spirit of Division and seek to humble yourself before God to purify your heart and to make it more like Jesus Christ’s heart which is filled with Love, Peace, Righteousness and Joy.
