Hi Everybody!
I just came across this awesome song sung by Tenth Avenue North called The Struggle. This song really inspired me to share it today because I know that I still struggle with my own weaknesses despite being a Christian. Just because you are Christian doesn’t mean that you don’t encounter days of weakness. It makes me appreciate my humanity and need of my Savior more. We need to face the fact that each day is a test, each day can be a blessing or a curse by the things we do, think or say. It’s all about how we view the world in light of the knowledge of what we know or do not know about what it means to be Christ-like. “In this world, there will be trouble…but take heart” says the Lord Jesus, “I have overcome the World” John 16:33. There will be days when you won’t like who you are, but when you are in Christ, understand that you do not serve a God that is unable to sympathize with your weakness, for Jesus also encountered many tests, many temptations, many trials and many opportunities to be offended; however, He overcame each one. It is through Him that we can be redeemed from our weaknesses and failures.
Confess them before the Lord, and He will set you free from self-condemnation.
When we are weak, Jesus helps us to be strong. Lean on Him today when you know that doing it alone isn’t enough anymore. Seek refuge under the wings of the Almighty and He that guides you into all Truth will help you deal with each issue so that you will be free.
