I put todays blog on Facebook and someone asked me.."Where was God yesterday?"  This is what I posted back:

(Let's pray for those who are asking that same question....many are.)

Where was God during the shooting?  God was still on His mighty throne and knows all that has and is going on.  Why didn’t he do anything?  Why Katrina…Why 9/11…Why all the innocent people being killed tragically everyday?

We must know who we are really fighting against even in the midst of tragedy. Satan is not a respecter of persons. We all still need God even in the chaos and the confusion. Even if our hearts are broken...God is the only one that can put it back together again. May the families lean towards the Lord of Hosts as they remain covered in prayer.

  1. Apparently that person do not understand God. God has kept His promise to man. He never promised that bad things would not happen.

    • Good point Noel. Also…we cannot forget that the presence of sin in this world allows for bad things to happen because sin corrupts us. No one is immune to sin, but that is why we must seek God and confess and repent of the Sin we have allowed in our lives that open doors for levels of darkness to invade our lives. When we take God out of the equation of our lives because of free will, we also reject the covering that comes from the blood of Jesus in our lives. That is why we must strive to live Holy Lives and seek to live a life of consecration. This is not to say that bad things still won’t happen, but we will understand that the battle isn’t merely flesh and blood…it’s a spiritual battle and we can’t blame God for those that are ignorant of that, instead, we pray that they will receive revelation of what they are truly dealing with here and learn to fight the good fight of faith.

  2. “. When we take God out of the equation of our lives because of free will, we also reject the covering that comes from the blood of Jesus in our lives. ” This says it all. Whoever said there is no God should have a rethink. My God moves like the wind, you can’t box Him. But you gotta seek him in spirit and in truth. Can’t bulldoze your way to Him and expect Him to show up with a train of angels bearing gifts in their hands!
